I listen to a lot of instrumental music like this while working on other things, but every once and a while I'll come across a song that I have to literally pause whatever it is I'm doing and just take it in on its own, no matter how many times I listen to it.
This is one of those songs.

I remember being four years old and listening to something similar, I still need to rediscover it. But this is close enough to how I remember what I listened to. Not A day goes by where I don't think about it. This helps ease the frustration of not being able to find it. Whether it was you who originally made something similar to this that I listened to all those years ago or someone else, thank you. You have changed my life.

@badluck 101 That sounds almost like a warning and a plea put together. I wonder when we finally breach the AI realm, will we be sitting next to an Android and listening to this? I wonder if Skynet from Terminator felt so different? If it had, would we have been more open to letting it live? If Connor from Detroit Become Human said this? That would be the confirmation of life.
@@deathstrike It certainly is an interesting thought to think about. Many fear AI, but the way I look at it, all you need to do is treat AI like they're more than just metal and wires. Like ICE said, "Why give us a mechanical soul if you are only going to crush it?."
Ya'll should try the original Mass Effect trilogy (not the garbage Andromeda). It deals with the eternal conflict of machine and organic life (alien and well as human life throughout the galaxy). At first, I wanted to destroy all the machines, but then I saw they were pretty much were the same as us (minus the aging to death), and even I felt they truly had souls.
Legion and EDI, two sentient machines you befriend throughout your adventure with were more loveable and had more personality than most of the characters you meet throughout the series. At least they did to me.
The endings (there are three and one secret bad ending) all brought tears to my eyes, especially the synthesis ending.
Hopefully, there is more to come with the series, but with EA in charge, I have doubts.

I woke up on a cold floor that was made of metal. The gaze could not focus on anything. I saw only blurred spots that instilled fear in my mind...
I was no longer what I used to be. The body no longer obeyed. My muscles ached terribly, and my heart was barely beating. Thoughts were confused, sounds were distorted. I could do absolutely nothing, and all I had to do was watch someone lift me off the cold floor...
Someone's warm hands grabbed my weak body, warming and hiding me from this terrible world. The pain subsided instantly. The fear vanished and the cold disappeared. Blurred silhouettes were gradually taking shape. Control was returning.
I hugged the stranger back. Someone's soft whisper rang out in my ear.

Only now I was able to realize that I wasn't human anymore.
