It’s definitely worth the buy. It is a little dry on lone wolf operations but with friends or on servers it’s great.
@@manwudwadothat4 I only think its worth the buy if ur a fairly hardcore tactical shooter fan. Alot of people that even like things like Ready or Not would not enjoy this
well yes its in that very niche category of games where you would have to be super into tactical shooters so to a fairly new tac player or someone coming from Cod or BF it would not be a good game to start with but still would recommend due to the minimal learning curve it offers. Dude, it's like the old Rogue Spear on steroids. Just get it already. It's still worth it, even if they suddenly stopped development.
What i like about GB, and Arma 3, is that you can run and gun, you can go full call of duty, in both games but both games instantly put the player in a very special mindset, the tactical mindset. Both games dont force the player to "be tactical" nor slow the movement.
I look forward to what Ground Branch will become with future updates.
How can you do that in Arma? I don’t think it would work well in that game…

AI will hear you sprinting around corners and leave you complaining that they're aimbotting lol. Definitely a forced tactical game.
@@yourcomrade888 I've done this tho , both in Arma 3 and GB, it is very possible. Although i dont recommend it because its not fun to play run and gun

Have you ever shot from prone unsupported for an extended period of time? I can confirm your arms will get tired or even go numb if using a sling and the weapon will certainly start to sway more. Next item they need to address for prone is a deployable bipod which would negate your early complaint. Yes, I'm guilty of writing this comment prior to watching the rest of the video.... but I'm still watching the whole thing!
Something I noticed when playing this is that the ADS feels a bit stiff, almost like an Image of a scope instead of a 3d object. I don't mean that there should be more weapon sway but a bit more of a simulation of how your head and eyes moves seperately from the gun when in motion.
lmao play MW (2019) or MW2 (2023) or go play Virtual Reality if thats what you want.

Just spent all night playing pvp and yes it can still be a bit clunky but my god is it good.

Love the guns and mechanics in this game but still I hate how every game in early access that tries to be like this are all forgetting the game part ground branch just feels like a demo for game. I think the game just needs a bit more polishing when it comes to AI and then a single player exraction mode like tarkov, earning new attachments guns kits and new quests and I would play this game on a daily basis.
Well, GB is specifically against "earning" that's not the point, but otherwise I (and everyone else) agree. We need a little more of the actual game. I love this game, but I'm afraid it will die if they don't start filling out the actual player experience outside of game raw mechanics.

I’ve never played this game, but have watched Tactical and others play it.
I can’t stand how tiny the scope is. When you shoulder a rifle with a scope, you CANNOT look through it that far away. It looks ridiculous and not immersive.
The red dots are kind of the same way; you would bring it much closer to your face and concentrate/focus on the area within the sight, not your entire field of view.
The single young developer working on "operator" has made more progress with that game in the last 8 months than Ground branch has in years with their ex rainbow six devs on board.
I haven’t been following this game at all, but I’ve heard of it and knew it was a small team. But honestly? There’s no excuse for game developers to be overlooking things that they’re overlooking, and taking so much time to add something so basic as going prone. They either need to step it up fast, or wait until they’re more experienced before they start working on such an ambitious game.

Bullying is very rare in my experience. Lots of friendly discords for GB too. If that's your only worry, I'd get it.
Playable as a solo player?
Yes, although it's fairly basic terrorist hunt, Intel retrieval and bomb defusing objectives. Don't expect a really story rich single player or anything. Still, I like the game

I watched this while downloading. So I kinda hate myself. Maybe Ill refund and pick it up on sale.
Great game
Ground branch once had a promise, but after all these years it's either a big fat lie, or a reality that will only see the day of light in the next 20 to 40 years.
Either way, their promise of being in early access for only 2 years was a big fat lie. And the rate at which basic updates come out is awfully bad.
The gameplay is horrid, animations worse than early 2000s games, ai worse than early 2000s games, horrible optimzation, can even barely call it a game.
At this point it's just another early access lie, that's almost still pretty much a bare bones unreal engine project.
Unless you are willing to wait for another 10 years to get actual gameplay of any kind, do not buy.
