I relate to this so much, it honestly kinda scares me.
I've had "friends" surrounding me almost all the time since as long as I can remember. My friends were my life, and I thought they were the best friends ever, and I cherished every single one of them.
I moved schools and got new friends this year. It took having friends who didn't take advantage of me, bully me, or physically and emotionally hurt me in order to realize how toxic those old friends were. I can't believe I thought it was fucking normal to have a 'friend' who thought kissing me after I told him 'no' multiple times and spreading rumors that I was his girlfriend was not only okay, but somewhat necessary.
I'm still trying to get rid of connections to my toxic 'friends', and this song really hit home..
