You can buy these at vebeg in Germany where they sell and auction off used German Army equipment, generators, cars, radios, tents, etc.
Google for vebeg. The crypto modules have been removed so theyre just high quality HF radios.
Export might be restricted, not sure.
They have none at the moment.
Cool. Love the 'minimalist' look of those handsets too.
@teamfab 5/9 is normal reply in a contest. If you listen you will hear that he also added 002 after the 5/9. This means that the station he was talking to was the second station that he had contacted in the same contest. Nice rig though :-)

The handset is n o Clansman-Handset as stated, but a Racal Acoustics RA-250 type handset.

sehr schönes gerät! und hat ordentlich Ausgangsleistung. Ich frage mich ob das SWR gut ist bei dieser Mikro-Vertikal-Antenne, scheint elektrisch verkürzt zu sein.

Das SE6861 ist hierzulande ganz legal bei der VEBEG zu bekommen. Es handelt sich um ausgemusterte Geräte der BW. Da keinerlei Kryptographie enthalten ist, hast Du als ordentlicher Funkamateur nichts zu befürchten. Nur die Ausfuhr ist eingeschränkt.
