In Christian (civil) marriages, you are only allowed one wife. If you want to make another person your wife, you must divorce first. So, I find it very strange that Ricky's wife was approached about Polygamy. Polygamy is only allowed in customary marriages. These include African traditional marriages and Muslim marriages. It is always men, who intiate the talks, not women. Again I find it strange that a woman approached Ricky's wife. Furthermore, amongst black people, Polygamy is practiced by a negligible percentage of people, usually rural and not highly educated people. But these days, some rich men practice it, mainly because they are womanizers, who love women and don't want to hide their big appetites for women or sex. I am Zulu by the way, and I think the woman is very very mischievous!
