simply beautiful. healthy hair is beautiful hair. i'm 5 years loc'ed now, healthy head of hair. but i always like to remember that my healthy hair journey started with you as a loose natural. great to see you still doing your thing!
Big,Big, Bun😀 this is my very to go Style I really love buns every once in a while I may have my granddaughter but a couple of French braids in my hair and that will stay up for the remainder of the week as well but this method I do once I get at least 15 16 weeks post relaxer I am 12 weeks post relaxer now and I am really rocking my bond I would wear it low for one week and then the next week I will put it in Midway and then I would do one a high bun. Thank you ever so kindly God bless you💕🙏👍
I follow you since a long time now, you inspired me to embrace my own hair. I cutted my hair earlength 3 month ago to start a healthy hair journey. I really thank you for all your videos it is really helping me. From now my goal is to grow thick and relaxed hair. But I have a question. Please, can you tell me how you achieved to increase thickness in your hair? Your hair grows thicker and thicker but in the beginning of your hair journey you seemed to have thin hair. My hair is thin and I wonder if one day it will be thicker like yours if I treat it well or I wonder if thickness is all about genetics. What is your point ?
Hi I just wanted to offer my opinion since we share similarities. I hope that's ok. I actually did the same thing early this year. I cut off 3inches of my hair and I stretched my relaxer for 6 months. When I relaxed my hair I noticed immediately that my hair was thicker and it grew 2 inches. The main thing I did during my relaxer stretch is deep condition. Which help tremendously. It improved the overall health of my hair. My hair has always been naturally thick but due to health issues and not properly taking care of my hair it started thinning. I feel genetics play a part but I feel you can achieve thickness if you properly take care of your hair. I did the following... 1. Stretch my relaxer for 6 months 2. Wash my hair every 2 weeks 3. Deep condition every 2 weeks. (I use to do it weekly but switched due to me stretching my wash day) 3. Moisturize every day and sometimes every other day. 4. Trim my ends when needed or every 6 months. 5. Pay close attention to ingredients in my hair products. Hope that helps😊
I am going to try this. My hair is a lot shorter than yours - shoulder length - and I’m natural with flat-ironed hair that’s beginning to revert. I will be careful. Wish me luck!
So happy to see you post on RUclips I am on Instagram also so I get to see you on there but I am so excited to see you on here thank you I love your hair so much you are such an inspiration ❤️😍🙂
This is beautiful and would be a great bridal hairstyle, could you maybe do a video on other bridal styles possibly ones that can transition from a ceremony to a reception (like a bun into a curly evening look?)
Loved learning about your journey!! Do you get your ors lye conditioner just off the shelf at any beauty supply store? Should I worry about it having been on the shelf for too long? Or not worry until it’s been opened?
Beautiful style SunShyne. Your hair is truly thicker than it was the last time that you did a video. I love wearing a bun in my hair, it is so quick and easy. :)
Thank you so much. The last video was my relaxer update and my hair was flat ironed. So it’s going to look less thick than my air dried hair. But if I were to compare my air dried hair from the beginning of my hair journey ‘till now...there’s definitely a huge difference!
Beautiful! Can you do a video of how you were able to increase your hairs thickness? I know thickness and density is genetically predetermined but I notice my hair always thins out after a few inches of leaving my scalp, it’s weird my strands will start thick end up looking for fine at the ends
my daughter is trying to grow her hair longer, its at bra strap length, is it good to do braid outs alot maybe each night and wrap it to wear it for school in the mornings?
@Hairlista, Can you please do a video on how to use olaplex no 3 for repairing bonds in the hair? I noticed it’s one of your staple products and would want to try it as well. Thanks!
You can actually buy her scarf from Walmart or Sally's. Just make sure you pay close attention to wrap style. I actually have bought mine from both and it should not be anymore than $4.00 to $6.00. The one from Sally's has a little bit more stretch and is slightly longer and wider.
*Serious question....well not realllly that serious, but if you moisture then seal daily how does the moisture get back INTO your ends of you've already sealed it meaning, no moisture in or out?*
I guess I need to go take a sniff of the bottle cause I know my granny use to use it wayyyyy back in the days and i don't want to walk around smelling 'ole skool'
@@TaShar16 i know! Lol. Back in the day it had a horrible smell. That is what kept me from trying it out again. But it has a totally different smell now. And unlike other moisturizers, it doesnt make my hair stink by the next day. But sadly it doesnt work for me. I have low porosity hair, maybe that could be a reason.
I learnt about S Curl from you and I am eternally grateful. My growth is so much easier to manage
Omg amazing🙌🏾
Sunshine I’m soooooo delighted to see you back on Yourube 😘😘😘

Indeed. Healthy hair is beautiful hair. Awww thank you so much for your love and support for the years.
Very pretty! I’m going to try this style ASAP! Thank you for posting.
Definitely loving this look on you.

So pretty and simple 💕 you have the most beautiful cupid’s bow 😊
Can you please do a video on how to get thick relaxed hair? Which of your hair regimen do you think has helped in you getting thicker hair? Thanks.
Will try after my stretch is over. Your hair looks so pretty in this style.
Love this! So cute and simple. Thank you🤗
That looks so good 😍.

I'm natural and I love a huge bun.. Def gonna try this 😍💖
Awesome!!

Gonna try this on my natural hair💕
Please do!!
I love it!!!
Love your bun! :)
Do you wear this style to sleep or do you wrap your hair? My issue now is I think my ponytail is causing my hair to break 😩
my daughter is trying to grow her hair longer, its at bra strap length, is it good to do braid outs alot maybe each night and wrap it to wear it for school in the mornings?
Do you ever wrap your hair? Or is that damaging ?
Can you do some makeup looks..your make up always looks so clean fresh and simple
I will try that gel.
Gorgeous gorgeous hair😍 do you now use the new S-curl or you still using the old one?
Thank you hun. I use the new Scurl.
Hairlicious Inc. thanks Sunshyne❣️
It's lovely 👌
Thank you!!

Love it 😍
Thanks babe!!
I would love to try this style but my hair doesn't have that much thickness
This is my go to style. Although my bun is not on the same level 😅. #ThicknessGalore 😍
Definitely a go-to style!!
Beautiful lady with beautiful hair!
You what honey you have a lot of hair like I do that is exactly how I want my relaxed to be like
Same
Elegant
hey @hairlicious, what protein treatment do you use on your hair, besides aphrogee? Aphogee didn't work for me.
#BEAUTIFUL 🖤💛💚🧡
Very very nice😎👍
Thank you!!
Where did you get your satin scarf? I have one but need a new one.
You can actually buy her scarf from Walmart or Sally's. Just make sure you pay close attention to wrap style. I actually have bought mine from both and it should not be anymore than $4.00 to $6.00. The one from Sally's has a little bit more stretch and is slightly longer and wider.
@@MissSenex Thanks I may have to go to a different location my walmart or Sally's doesnt have this style.
I ordered mone from Sally's online😊
Yes!! I'll have to do that thanks!!
Walmart has it and any local beauty supply.
FYAH!!!! xoxo
Have you ever tried rice water? If so, what is you take on it? If not, why not?
*Serious question....well not realllly that serious, but if you moisture then seal daily how does the moisture get back INTO your ends of you've already sealed it meaning, no moisture in or out?*
Eventually the natural oil evaporates and the moisture will be able to penetrate when you you moisturize and seal again.
@@HairliciousInc oh I see... didn't know oil evaporates, thought only water does.....🤔
Wow
Do you still use castor oil on your scalp daily? When is you next castor oil challenge please????
Where can I find That looong scarf?
I got mine from my local beauty supply store.
How long will you leave this style in?
I never sleep in protective styles. I always take it down each night.
@@HairliciousInc Thank you 🙃🙏🏾
For some reason the S curl doesnt make my hair soft at all. I wish it worked for me cuz I actually do like the scent.
But it has a totally different smell now. does not work for me either , I prefer braid any brand of braid spray
How long do you keep it
I wear it for the day and then take it down. I don’t sleep on styles.
Ohk,so you redo it everyday, tot it last for a week
My hair not as thick or long as yours so i would have to add weave.
