More affordable than the U.S. Thank you for the video. My brother just moved to Barcelona. Can you do one on the neighborhoods in Barcelona? What are the pros and cons in term of rent, safety, and things to do
Hi Tal! I’m glad it’s helped! I have a vid called ‘10 things to know about moving to Barcelona’ where I talk about that and also created some resources on my website as well :)

Thank you so much! I especially appreciate the info about your puppy, no one ever talks about that, and that is a very important part of my life. Thank you!
Hi Natasha ..thank you for your good information and i have one question for you .. Can you make video on jobs after 12 grade ?...if you make video we thankful you
Thank you for explaining the cost of living in Barcelona. Currently I live in Los Angeles which is very expensive. Barcelona seems well worth the cost. Could you please do an interview with a single retired woman who moved to Barcelona on her own? I would love to know how she was able to make friends, find activities, etc. My Spanish is very basic but I can communicate. I like to be active, especially participate in sports. I am planning to visit Barcelona in May to check it out for a month. Could someone like me rent a room in a home with a family so I don't feel alone? Thank you!!
That’s an amazing idea! I’m sure you’ll love it here 😁 People are friendly and it’s fairly easy to communicate. I don’t know anyone with that criteria but I’m certain that no matter your age our status you’d be welcomed 😊 People are very kind 💚 Good luck with your adventure!
So summary : 1000€/ rental . Will be better to say price for kilowatt hour in electricity , and price for 1m^3 of water . So people can compare . Is there drinking water at home (I mean in a sink ?) , thank you
@@NatashaBergen nice, I'll check it out. Also in what neighborhood did you live in Bcn? We also have dogs and will move there soon and i'm quite stressed about the city's best/quite bad areas

I hope it helps :)
Hey Natasha! I have a dog too! Question - what do you do when you and your partner both need to be out of town - are there dog sitting services or something like Rover in Barcelona? Is it expensive? Thanks so much!
Cool!! Say hello to your pup! Yes so in the past we used Rover but found that the prices go up around holidays so now we've found an amazing trusted friend to take care of her who we compensate as well :) But Rover is a great option!

@@NatashaBergen are there any places to avoid when picking for a place to rent? Is the place generally safe? How’s the condition of the house apartments vs the price? Planning to move via non lucrative visa. Do you think that’s a good route?
@@stocksmarts_ In general, Barcelona is very safe, you just have to keep your wits about you like in any major city in the EU to avoid pickpockets, etc. I would suggest avoiding the Gothic quarter, and Raval area as they have a reputation of being loud and there can be some problems late at night. Some people also say to avoid Besos but in my opinion it doesn't seem bad. If you look farther out from the centre like in Sant-Gervasi or Les Corts or Badalona (not exactly Barcelona), you have some really great options that are worth it. Eixample and Poblenou are also lovely! The conditions of places really depend on the owners; sometimes you have excellent places that are worth what you're paying but other times it's overpriced. As for your visa, I can't see why not, if you meet all the requirements it seems great to me! The Spanish lifestyle is very relaxing 😁
