It wonderfully reatins the essence of the original giving it an edgier touch with that synth. Awesome. Have you ever considered putting this and other Eschatos arrange up as MP3 for download? I'm sure I wouldn't be the only one interested to listen to these on the go.

I bought the XV-5080 VST and i've been so inspired to make something like the legendary Mr. Yasui but i cant find any of these sounds and theres soooo many..
ah the famous Sound canvas Roland expander and other Roland MT-32 was a good starting point to make videogame music back then. also Yamaha DX7 could be use, now the module are a bit cheaper and you can found a lot of soundbank on the net that sample it.
wait, those toms they sound exactly like the ones from Megaman X1, wtf where did you get them? are these toms from the original source, or did you just rip the samples from X1? now I'm really curious lol
it might be that MMX used the Toms themselves as samples. the drums sound similar too. Look up the dates and release times of both, you can find some interesting things.
