ROBERT C MORGAN: PAINTERS TALKING PAINTING. BEING AN ARTIST

Be prepared for Robert's forthcoming exhibition at the SCULLY TOMASKO FOUNDATION in NYC opening September 16th 2022.
In 2013 I had the opportunity to meet the amazing painter and writer Mr. Robert C. Morgan, Thanks to a funny story brought forth by painter Louise P. Sloane as the 2 of us had been gallery hopping one Wednesday in NYC. At one specific exhibition we had been enjoying at Marc Strauss Gallery, I suddenly felt Louise on my back and Robert right beside her asking about the filming I had been doing. He said he would love to be interviewed and we sat about making an appointment. It took another trip to town for that to happen though. It was so cool going to his home because he is so far the only one I know that lives in the Union Square section of NYC. The rest is on here. Thankfully the day or two before I had the wonderful opportunity to see his solo exhibition at an intimate gallery which was perfect for his paintings. It made me so jazzed to visit with him that it made the whole interview all the more interesting.
I have decided after much deliberation that I wanted to put the entire interview on here so you can enjoy it. So here's part one.
