Follow this Link! So it has been said, so it must be done! The Jiujitsu Gods Command It!
But seriously, over 25,000 white to purple belts have Belted-Up using techniques they have learned from jiujitsux.app/home
Im not saying this to impress you, but to impress UPON you the importance of the one plain-as-day open secret in the BJJ community…
    “KNOWLEDGE!”
Jiu-jitsu is a language, and like any language the best way to learn is immersion in its culture. You must listen to its fluent speakers.
And so it goes with the BJJ arts. However the fluent speakers are those who have spent thousands and thousands of hours honing their craft while deliberately documenting and systematizing their unique discoveries of the ever valuable jiujitsu currency. Technique.
Its true what they say, that technique conquers all. A single technique can create a bloom of success in its wake. It’s literally unlocking new potentials of yourself to play the game and WIN.
The jiu-jitsu-x platform aggregates this sacred knowledge. These missing puzzle pieces that begin to reveal the final picture.
It rank orders them in importance to guarantee you upgrade your grappling weapons as fast as, well, I guess it just depends how much you want to study.
There’s simply no limit to knowing more and being better at the game. The ones who like to learn jiu-jitsu get good… the ones who watch Netflix don’t… And would you really want to have more holes in your gameplan than a chunk of Swiss? This is the sad reality of those only learn technique a few nights a week or less.
You simply are made to absorb more info. It doesn’t matter if you can’t “hit” the move the next day. You have just cleared some fog of war my friend!
The board is now clearer. You know more of what you will encounter in the wilds of Leg Lock Land and Berimbolo Planet… and to the infinity of other positions found in the 4D Chess board that is Jiu-jitsu.
Let me explain how easy it is to get better at grappling with JiujitsuX.app.
You guys bathe right? Good. The instructions are as simple as that.
    Lather, Rinse, Repeat.
The lathering is picking a course on a position you are interested in. A bit of self analysis is required. Might go something like this
    “Do I like half guard?”
    “No not really”
“Is that because my half guard sucks?”
    “Yes”
“I’ll buy Jake Mackenzies half guard course”
It’s almost too logical. Kinda hurts to look at.
    Rinse:
Literally bathe your eyeballs in put Bjj technique from our pro instructors.
Let its warmth wash you of your grappling sins. That’s right, I know you walked off the mat with no shoes last week.
Absorb The techniques in the course. Watch a couple lessons in a row and stop. Only once you have had your fill. When your brain is to the brim and ready to spill over.
    Now we repeat.
We repeatedly go to class armed with violence we just downloaded off the internet (Great deal right now btw 50% off)
What a time to be alive.
TRY TO GET TO THE POSITION IN SPARRING
    Try again.
    Try again
    Go back to step one

this is the first sweep i learn from Half Guard, stll working on it to make it unstopable (some times they crush my underhook with bodytweight and wizard). Thx for the details!

If they are crushing you with their overhook, go with it! There’s a nice roll under sweep if you just pinch their wrist with your lat muscle.

When we get up on our knees and we are "behind him" and we have a body lock, we need to let go of our body lock and go for back take or sweep, or we can do something with out body lock?

The *Old School sweep* is much better in fluidity. The Old School sweep has *THREE variations* that depend on which way your opponent's weight goes. _You don't need strength or to go into the _*_Dog Fight position_*_ to do any of the variant Old School sweeps!_* Also, I love to chain sweeps like I chain submissions.

What are the names of those three individual sweeps? And do you know a resource that teaches them well? Thank you in advance 🙏🏼

    • @JEDIAL9

@@stantoncochran536 As far as I know the master, himself, EDDIE BRAVO created the Old School Sweeps. I also got the three variations from him. When I find it, I post it. But Eddie's #1 sweep is the Old School Sweep!

    • @JEDIAL9
      @JEDIAL9 2 года назад

@@stantoncochran536 So, the video is from ten years ago and I can't find it. Eddie Bravo had a video for when opponents go for the darce choke while you go for the Old School Sweep. The darce is really all you can do to stop the Old School Sweep. Well, some people can try to smash but if you properly finger four their leg, they'll never have control or balance of their weight or force to smash you.
So, the first Old School Sweep is the regular deep have guard, finger four the leg, hook your arm around their waist and grab the opponents big toe or ankle s-grip lock, or body lock it while you whip your finger four leg to the opposite side to sweep. When you do the opposite toe or ankle lockdown, it's performed the same way. The sweep almost always gets you to the top position.
      2) with the same lockdown as prescribed above, you can go the opposite way by straightening the finger four leg lock and pulling the opponent's ankle into you instead of across during the tie down or s-grip. If you bring the ankle or big toe to their buttocks, you don't always have to lock your hands together. Everything depends on which way your opponent's weight goes. 3) you can't always get the foot, so, you grab the inside of the knee with the same lockdown and bridge or roll over your back to the mount.
      4) when somebody goes for the darce, you grab the wrist with your outside hand while grabbing the inside of your opponent's elbow, hugging it to your body and falling back to roll them over with the same whipping finger four leg lock to the top position. 5) This is also a modified butterfly sweep. But in the modified butterfly, there is no finger four lockdown and you're not in deep half guard.

@@JEDIAL9 Eddie Bravo didn't invent the Old School or any of it's sweeps. He just popularized it with the lockdown entry. You're either trolling with that comment or you just don't know anything about jiu-jitsu or it's history.

To say if he has the underhook he is gonna pass is totally untrue. I love you William but there is an entire world with that halfguard overhook.
