Who says you can't have two good quarterbacks ? I think the Falcons made the right move in getting Penix ! Good quarterbacks are the most valuable position in football, there's always another team that'll be willing to bargain for a QB ...It's a good insurance policy on numerous levels !

You do know this is a team sport, and he has played only 8 full years as starting QB, and has better playoff stats than Joe Burrow. He has more 4000 yard and 25td seasons than anyone since 2015, has 5 tds to 1 interception in the playoffs, better QB rating than Josh Allen. Sure sounds like a terrible player. You do know this is a team sport right, Kirk didnt allow 30 points to the Giants in the playoffs, right, or do you blame him for that also. Matt Stafford won 0 playoff games in his first 12 years. Lamar had 1 playoff win before this year with a much better defense. People are just haters. Kirk is a good QB, not elite, but very good.

I am showing that this is a team sport that even the 2 time MVP has only won 2 playoff games, 1 before this year like Kirk, so they were tied. Kirk has actually only been a starting QB for 8 full seasons, and Lamar has been one for 5 full season. Kirk has 270 touchdowns and 110 interception for his career. He has more 4000 thousand yard 25 td seasons than any QB since 2015. He lead the vikings to a 13-4 record his last year starting before his injury year where he was on pace for almost a 5000 yard season. You just dont understand that this is a team sport it isnt tennis. I will give you Kirk has come up small in a lot big games throughout his career, but also has two of the greatest comebacks in NFL history, of course people like you are just haters, I am not saying he is a top 5 QB, but he is very good. Penix is going to play this year. For whatever reason(s), could be injury-related or ineffectiveness on Cousins' part, but mark my words, Penix will play
Stop it. Kirk was averaging almost 300 yards a game with a rating of over 100 before getting injured. He had 18 tds to 5 ints in 8 games almost 3k yards.
No he won’t and if you worried about injuries with Kirk then you need to be especially worried about Penix 2 ACL injuries on the same knee along with 2 shoulder injuries on throwing and non throwing shoulder I’m more worried about Penix glad he is going to be able to muscle up and sit behind Kirk 2-3 yrs
@@melvinarringtonj Nobody is doubting his high yardage which doesn't matter if his accuracy isn't there with a high int percentage and then losses games when the game is on the line. So, there's pressure, and Penix will find himself in many games this year, possibly their starter... ATL knows that too is why they drafted him as he's by far more accurate than Cousins.

What everyone always fails to mention is that Kirk Cousins was averaging 291.4 passing yards a game. With a completion rate of 104. In 8 games, he already had 2331 passing yards, 18 TDs, and 5 ints before he went down to injury.
Just in case you don't understand the math, Tua was second with 272 passing yards a game and finished the season with 4624 passing yard (which led the league) and 29 Tds
Jared Golf was 2nd with 269.1 passing yards a game ending the season with 4575 passing yards and 30 TDs. Golf ended up signing a contact worth 212 million.
Dak Prescott led the league with 36 TDs
Kirk Cousins with 291.4 yard pet game was on pace to lead the league with 4,954 passing yards and TDs with 38 which would have won him MVP and 1st Team All Pro.
The Falcons are running the same offensive system that Cousins has been in his whole career. That's why Cousins wanted to came to Atl because he already knew the system and that's why Atlanta gave Cousins 180mil because everyone knows Kirk Cousins woukd have won MVP who doesn't want an League MVP on their Roster. And to think he is going to fail in a system that he already knows and had MVP numbers in is just crazy talk.
If I'm Penix I'm working like I'm the starter. Forget all that future qb non sense. Penix has never sat the bench in his life. Unless it was for redshirt/ medical..
