Yea, we redid calcs and checked. Honestly, the advantage is nominal and doesn't really make a big difference, as the base damage boost barely offsets the massive status weight loss. But the biggest advantage is actually just the upfront damage against things that don't need slash procs to die and that's actually pretty important for trash mobbing. It helps the most there. For actual slash procs, the difference is minimal. It is better, but the Slash DoT size increase barely offsets the loss of slash frequency from bad weighting.
 It's the min-max edge of Warframe. Just what my builds typically focus on. Though after further research and testing, it's better to just go for 60%. The difference is actually extremely small, but 60% barely pulls ahead of 25% when slash procs come into play. If you aren't slashing, then 60% is in general better.
@@Aznvasions That is true, I’m not claiming to understand the math but at the same time. 60% is better than 25% even if it seems that a bonus of 56% leaves enemies on what looks like 1hp so the extra 4% should kill them outright
If you are like me and only care about disruption, go for rad on your tenet weapon for some reason rad doesn't go into the calculation and you get slash only. For general use on sp it will still be good enough, just note that you can't do other levelcap than disruption with that melee anymore
Hey! Tysm for this video! My railjack is kind of trash right now because I haven't been playing it much outside of the sevagoth update, but I was still able to run the Neptune mission pretty quickly so thank you for this guide!!!!
Grineer nodes are way simpler and that way they are faster. In corpus node you do 1 objective, 2 objective, then an exerminate mission. In grineer you do 1 objective, 2 objective, and I even managed to snatch derelicts with the time saved from not having to deal with corpus "on foot" missions. Grineed objectives are very easy and can be done all at the sime time whilst also killing the ships. The longest possible grineer mission would be the captain one but since I'm assuming you're in a squad one of your mates on a volt or wukong can easily run though the entire galleon, oneshot a captain, and teleport back to RJ, +if you get into this longer variant you'll have a chance at getting rewarded with quellor or pennant or 60/60 mods.
@@Aznvasions use hildryn for your RJ.. infinite energy and no cool down. Better than using lavos and other stuff. I spam emp and black hole then use the cryophon gun to murder everything in a few shots if not one shot per enemy.
It's not just having the right team for railjack it's also about making sure the host actually has a good railjack with a good build and not something they just throw together within five minutes and also the host having the right intrinsic pilot level.. no joke I have seen people who host railjack and it was pretty clear that their level was not the right recommended level. So that's why whenever I do harder areas like the Veil I don't do it with a team I do it with my own railjack because every intrinsic level I have on each item is level eight.. I even have the exact same build that people use to solo every piece of railjack content. You know it's just like when I play division two people yell at each other just because they failed but they don't think about the fact that hey maybe you didn't have the right build because it's not always the team's fault
That's also why I recommend Nu Gua for easy mode for those without good RJ specs, as it's a L27-30 mission and extremely easy. It can be done with trash intrinsics without slowing the team down. All you really need are engine boosters, and someone that knows how to shoot the forward artillery at the single crewship
This is a great guide if you cannot keep it in your pants but really guys, just do sisters for now and after Tennocon they will increase drop chance no doubt. DE cannot be trusted to do many things right but they are quite expedient to change drop chances if enough people complain. And enough people have complained already.
Yes, it would be nice. The RNG is too high. Even worse than OG liches. Such that OG liches took 1.5-2.5h to clear with some consistency to 2h. Holokeys are the same, but the RNG is so wild it ranges from 30 min to 6h+ for the 2h farm.
You could also go for a toxin DoT setup if you get a toxin roll on the melee weapons. Toxin setups do require more setup tho. Could also try going for a balanced slash and toxin DoT build but that would require specific percentages. Also do we have any confirmation that the melee weapons' bonus elements are only rolled from the same pool of elements that can be obtained as a bonus for lich weapons? Slash damage bonus, maybe?
Veil Skirmish with a good team takes 4 min (or less!!!!) per mission. Just look for a team in recruit chat and explain how to run the mission: 2 players go to objectives and 2 stay in Railjack killing fighters and crewships.
I did Saturn with pugs myself. If everyone knows what they're doing it takes 2:30-4:30 mins, 75 fighters 6 crewships, 1 guy does the warframe objective, rest stay on the RJ and kill ships.
The easiest way to farm is Proxima Saturn on a Skirmish mission. the mission is completed in the same three minutes with friends, and they give 4 holo keys
Yes, but again, that needs someone that actually knows what they are doing with the RJ, is what I meant. If I'm with friends, they have decked out RJs, and we just run Pluto Proxima skirmish instead. It's about 2:30-3:00 also for 5 keys.
Since you mentioned it can be a good idea to have low toxin/cold for low viral weight, so slash can proc more often, would it be a good idea to get a riven with negative impact and choose an impact progenitor, while using a primer gun/companion?
I'm not sure whether what you said about wanting a low percentage on the weapon is entirely true. Elemental MODS don't contribute to the amount of bleed tick damage, sure. But weapon elemental bonus of kuva/tenet weapons is part of the base damage of the weapon. This is clearly visualized when you do a valence fusion, if you do a valence fusion not only the bonus element damage gets higher, but also the damage of all your modded elementals that scale off the base damage of the weapon. If you look in the wiki it claims bleed tick damage is based on the complete base damage of the weapon, even innate elementals. So a 60% toxin tenet grigori would in fact result in probably a lot higher bleed ticks than a 25% grigori, due to base damage of the weapon being much higher.
Yup I'm aware of that, but at the same time also will dilute a significant portion of the slash ticks, as while base damage increases by 60% innately, the slash bias is now also divided by 1.6x. Looking closer actually, it seems to have 0 impact in the end and doesn't matter what % you pick, so you might as well just max it out for the raw damage advantage against trash mobs when you don't care about DoTs. As say, a weapon with 80% slash weight only drops to 50% slash with a full innate 60% elemental bonus. So you get 50% weight which is a loss of "/1.6" procs and do 1.6x more damage per DoT. The original build without innate would have 80% slash weight, which is 1.6x more procs, but 1.6x less damage. If you take a 25% elemental bonus instead of 60%, the picture doesn't really change. At original 80% slash weight, you will drop to 64% slash weight, which is "/1.25" procs, but do 1.25x more DoT damage. And all you get in the end is less raw damage for killing things on direct hit. So TL;DR, yea just go for 60% I guess.
@@Aznvasions Got my hands on a 58% toxin grigori and might actually go down the route with getting another one with low percentage. I toyed around with it a bit in simulacrum and tried to make that thrown glaive with slide heavy do any meaningful damage. Unlike regular heavy attack it doesn't seem to have any forced procs, so entirely depends on your status chance and damage distribution. Since that glaive travels further at high combo i'm unsure about a pure heavy build, a heavy combo hybrid build could maybe work better and be more fun, and since combo counter pauses while holstered anyway you could swap out naramon for zenurik (heavy attack efficiency) and maybe pair that with a riven that has heavy attack efficiency as third positive. Grigori has high enough base status chance to give you 2-3 status effects with a hit from that glaive, so at least one of them being slash should be really important for it to deal good damage. Have to experiment around with it some more. Maybe it's more of a gimmick than really worth using, we'll see... with only zenurik a heavy also still consumes a lot of combo..

I just use the Grineer Void Proxima missions. 10 keys and tons of exp for doing nothing but flying and using ability 3 (the many rockets), especially if you have a team for artillery and the away missions
RNG can suck. It's much higher on this overall than the original kuva liches. Thes took 1.5-2.5h. This can take anywhere from 30min to 6+ hours depending on how much your luck swings.

I felt that. I feel most people that play WF came from destiny, or other FPS' or league or something else short and sweet. The days of JRPGs, and the grindier older MMOs have taught me much. Warframe feels fine in comparison. Only a few times I've really felt the burn. Day 1 grinding isolation vaults for Trapezium on Deimos release, because it required Rank5 to refine the BP. I'm not sure they only rotate weekly in the shop. Guess I will visit the store at the scheduled next rotation and look how much time it displays on the timer..
Yeah... I think I'll pass on these melee weapons until DE eventually makes getting them easier. There's a reason I still don't have Nidus to this day, because I remember the feeling of my brain slowly rotting from the Harrow farm.
It's moreso the insane RNG on this imo. It's same time as old Kuva Liches, but those always took 1.5-2.5h. Whereas these randomly take from 30min to like, 6h+
Would any of the weapons this reset worth it? I looked at all of them and the best was a 52% toxin for the dual blade but I dont normally use them and was looking at the scythe as well since my bid told me it could potentially be meta status
idk if it's randomized per person, but the ones I'm seeing rn are: Grigori +43% magnetic Livia +36% heat Exec +28% toxin Agendus +33% Rad Agendus on 60% rad can technically run both rad and corrosive, and sword/shields have forced slash on stance, so that might be interesting. Really only useful for just dispatching trash and mid-tier units more easily. You'll be missing the viral weight for slash, but I guess panzer covers that. And Rad is a secondary element, so another one for CO, since it won't combine with anything you mod unless you make rad...? IDK Exec seems to be a meme atm and has scaling problems. So idk, take at your own risk. Grigori I'd rather just build for viral, so tox/cold innates or smthg. Glaive can actually do something on it. I can't speak for Livia.
@@Aznvasions yea so the weapon stats are different for each person really. I dont have a magnetic and the Livia I have is a 54% heat but the crit chance and stat is even enough but the Exec is just too good for its crit chance but have a 38% toxin so both look to good to pass up
It's a testing ground to see what players will accept and deal with before making it more extreme. Pigeon holing into content is never a good idea imo.
I have about 11 keys but man I really need to get my team on, relying on randoms because I’m not at a point where I can solo these with enough consistency has been a pain except for the one time I got matched with two mr 30s and a mr 31.
veil gives 6 drops with a 37% chance which is way faster and needing 5 minutes for an easy rj mission is way too much especially considering veil takes 7-7:30 at worst. with best rng you can do it in 2:30 (the easy one not veil)
They're pretty fun, and some of them sit quite well up near the meta. None of them bring anything crazy to the table though. I would say try picking them up eventually, since they will always be here.

It lacks elements, that makes it inherently worse as a primer. It has better DPS...but actually the Gaze gets quite close to that as well. So it's like...ehhhhhh. Not enough for me to be impressed. If it kept the original IPS distribution and not pure heat I think it would be better.
Great video except I just kinda have a pet peeve with people not just enjoying the game like I believe DE wants us to do, instead of rushing through missions then ultimately complaining about not having anything to do once you get all the weapons..ijs.
Actually I think this one is an exception, because it takes on average 2H to farm enough for one weapon, but the RNG is high and can easily range 30 min to 6H+. Additionally, you will want to farm 4 sets, so 160 per week, every week, because of the rotation. So it’s actually a lot of grind, even more so than the original Kuva Liches. The Corpus Liches though, are perfectly fine

@@SirFailHard Just don't do Kasio's rest because it can potentially have 2 away objectives; one standard objective and one to board the galleon and kill the commander. That's a big nope unless you still need the penant or something.
I've farmed over 240 keys and I only do veil missions. Exterminates 4-5mins,skirmish 5-7mins and volatile 7-9mins. Never solo, speedruns only
with shatter burst and a +range reactor, you can probably make the breaking of security nodes even faster
That's a hot tip! I didn't even think of that.
Edit: Wait a minute... I thought I was subscribed to you! Well, I am now... subbed. Keep making the great content dude :).
Wow... RUclips be recommending you more and more for my Warframe grinding needs. Anyway, I like running a "Rushva" Nova setup for dumb fun with the exterminates -Not a fan of Volt, sorry. I put Infested Mobility over her Null Stars paired with Escape velocity to not only buff myself but other teammates in case they need to catch up. I used a reload speed oriented Kuva Tonkor to just nuke everything in sight while rushing forward lol.
Some "secret" tech i found for solo skirmishes - wisp, with enough duration, can use her 2 to multitool tp to railjack, shoot the shutter burst, and blink back to the decoy.
5:48 oh no, no, no.. this bonus is treated as weapons base damage boost so it will push your slash proc damage. you want 60% anyways.
Who else didn’t understand anything past when he started mentioning Slash/Viral bias? 🤣
It's the min-max edge of Warframe.
Just what my builds typically focus on.
Though after further research and testing,
it's better to just go for 60%.
The difference is actually extremely small,
but 60% barely pulls ahead of 25% when slash procs come into play.
If you aren't slashing, then 60% is in general better.
@@Aznvasions
That is true, I’m not claiming to understand the math but at the same time.
That's...interesting. Didn't expect that.
I mean you could probably still patch it with +slash +status 90/60
Hey! Tysm for this video! My railjack is kind of trash right now because I haven't been playing it much outside of the sevagoth update, but I was still able to run the Neptune mission pretty quickly so thank you for this guide!!!!

Did the axi fissure 5 times with no luck. Had to check sources to see if they actually dropped.
RNG is a blessing and a curse
Thank you for this. I was gonna wing it and farm earth like a cheap skate
We all grind together!
But yea, it still takes a while...

I ran 3 NSU Grid in Veil Proxima and got 18 holokeys... But that was after 2-3 hours of running other missions for 20 holokeys.
F, RNG is a cruel mistress
Soo umm 🤔??? Are Holokeys Acquire by railjack Fissure missions (relic opening missions) only??? Or.... play normal railjack missions?
Ty for the amazing video
Cheers and thanks for watching :)
When they are no exterminate in veil, you can do skirmish, with a decent team and a good RJ, you can do them in 4 minutes
Yup, I just have a crap RJ myself xD
No confirmation, we'll just have to see what happens over the weeks.
Toxin DoT setup would be pretty cool. Imagine if we got a tenet glaive lmao
There is a new rifle as well, ambassador. Full auto, can switch to a sniper. Pretty interesting and ima farm for it. Survival in rj.

Veil Skirmish with a good team takes 4 min (or less!!!!) per mission.
Just look for a team in recruit chat and explain how to run the mission:
2 players go to objectives and 2 stay in Railjack killing fighters and crewships.
The thing is, having people listen, and having people actually do things are wildly different in recruit.
Very mixed bag.
Doing those missions with 1 friend and 2 randoms, 9 times out of 10 the 2 randoms are sitting on the ship leeching (xbox)
F in the chat
I did Saturn with pugs myself. If everyone knows what they're doing it takes 2:30-4:30 mins, 75 fighters 6 crewships, 1 guy does the warframe objective, rest stay on the RJ and kill ships.
Yup, another good one too!
Since you mentioned it can be a good idea to have low toxin/cold for low viral weight, so slash can proc more often, would it be a good idea to get a riven with negative impact and choose an impact progenitor, while using a primer gun/companion?
as soon as the update dropped i farmed and got my agendus
since then I have collected all tenet guns
Congrats, that's really impressive :D
This was a aids grind only good thing was that I got at least 2 sets for sevagoth
ikr, seeing sevagoth pieces pop up was honestly heartbreaking

Thes took 1.5-2.5h. This can take anywhere from 30min to 6+ hours depending on how much your luck swings.
You'd think they would want to fix all the RJ bugs before pushing everyone through them
I'd think they want to not launch the game with gamebreaking bugs everywhere.

Certain weapon interactions breaking again
Gun CO not working on projectile weapons, etc.

@@Aznvasions True, but I enjoy Warframe enough. And I've been through grinds that are WAY more soul-destroying and tedious, this is downright generous by comparison

So the only way to gain holokeys is by doing relic missions at rj? or we can also gain holokeys by just running normal missions?
RJ void storms only
Yup, sadly just void storms

Railjack to farm them? Good to know I won't be getting a melee for a while
Would any of the weapons this reset worth it? I looked at all of them and the best was a 52% toxin for the dual blade but I dont normally use them and was looking at the scythe as well since my bid told me it could potentially be meta status
idk if it's randomized per person, but the ones I'm seeing rn are:
Grigori +43% magnetic
Livia +36% heat
Exec +28% toxin
Agendus +33% Rad
Agendus on 60% rad can technically run both rad and corrosive, and sword/shields have forced slash on stance, so that might be interesting. Really only useful for just dispatching trash and mid-tier units more easily. You'll be missing the viral weight for slash, but I guess panzer covers that. And Rad is a secondary element, so another one for CO, since it won't combine with anything you mod unless you make rad...? IDK
Exec seems to be a meme atm and has scaling problems. So idk, take at your own risk. Grigori I'd rather just build for viral, so tox/cold innates or smthg. Glaive can actually do something on it. I can't speak for Livia.
@@Aznvasions yea so the weapon stats are different for each person really. I dont have a magnetic and the Livia I have is a 54% heat but the crit chance and stat is even enough but the Exec is just too good for its crit chance but have a 38% toxin so both look to good to pass up
It feels like DE is forcing players to do boring things. first animal conservation then kdrive quest and now railjack void storms
Honestly the exterm missions aren't too bad.

Yea, at the very least, the weapons are always there, but just changing elements, so you will still be able to get them all in the end.
veil gives 6 drops with a 37% chance which is way faster and needing 5 minutes for an easy rj mission is way too much especially considering veil takes 7-7:30 at worst. with best rng you can do it in 2:30 (the easy one not veil)
Hence options, options, options :P
It sounds stupid on my side, but it work: Void storm tier 4 always drop 10 holokeys, which means it only took 4 runs to get one Tenet melee
I also do this method. Solo grineer veil and it takes 12-15 mins tops with nezha. I'm sure titania could go faster
So today I spent like 10 hours trying to get holokeys, not even 1 drop :)
