I saw this clip on instagram and the first comment was from a woman that said and i quote: "Women can only understand it if the man express it. This falls back on the man. if you don't know how to express it, there are therapist who help with that. There's no excuse for this" smh
I love how from one perspective of this guy its the “tough man no weak man stuff” and then he sits down and breaks down how he became so wise and aware.. It’s exactly what we’re doing. Listening to the feelings. Listening to emotions and learning to master them into a better man. Not just a physical sense but mental. You master your emotions and are physically capable, you’re unstoppable.
I think the confusion lies in the understanding of what constitutes a weak or tough man. Both weak and tough men have emotions. The difference is how they handle those emotions. Like in this interview, Dewayne mentions he recognized his emotions and the cause of them, and then made adjustments to correct. Weak men wouldn’t make any adjustments. It’s one thing to feel any particular emotion, good, bad, or otherwise. The toughness comes from having to tell yourself, “you need to change” and you follow through. This is my personal take and undergoing at lot of the same thoughts and processes to make changes in my life the last 5 years. You don’t need to agree or relate, but maybe someone will relate and in no way is this a rebuttal to your comment Fernando. Cheers

Nobody deserves recognition and to be listened to more than the Dry Creek Wrangler. I wouldn’t do everything the way he does or had done, but his insight into why he does what he does is invaluable
I've never re-watched a podcast. I'll return to this to time and time again. 'I like me, I'd buy me a beer' is such a simple, yet incredibly powerful statement.
You can tell, just by the way Chris looks at Dewayne and smiles, that he admires and respects him so much. Dewayne's story at the end about his "perfect day," was the most insightful and beautiful thing. Coffee, cigars, steak, and good conversation. Phones and social media have destroyed simple living and has made more people depressed and anxious that anything in human history is argue. Dewayne gives me hope and allows me to relax and breathe again.
The conversation you had about men and about women was so beautiful tears came to my eyes. And it was really impressive and attractive seeing two men being real men. And liking yourself is so important. A few years ago I was really hurting, so I avoided everyone, but then I realized that all of my feelings of self worth came from everyone telling me how pretty, smart, popular, kind, and funny I am. But when I was alone I realized how much I disliked myself and how small I felt. The person I saw in the mirror wasn't someone I saw as pretty, and being smart felt like a curse sometimes because it caused me to feel so lonely, and I didn't feel popular, and I felt that too often I was punished for trying to help people by being taken advantage of and then treated badly, and too often I felt small by the cutting things miserable people said. It took a lot of effort to work through all of that and to learn to like myself, and I still don't always like myself, but the more I do the more balanced and joyful my life feels.
heard him mention that he did your podcast in one of his videos a little while ago and I was so excited. This man's values are so important so thank you for giving his voice another platform to spread his wisdom
Its crazy that this whole conversation feels like everything I needed to hear at this point in time. The both of you are speaking directly to the hearts of more young men than you may realize. Thank you for all you do!
What a pleasant surprise this interview was....I had no idea what to expect, as a matter of fact I had no idea who Dewayne was, BUT NOW... All I can say is WOW! EVERYONE needs to hear THIS man speak! A true CLASS ACT! Thank you Chris for this incredible life lesson filled interview!
I stumbled upon Dewayne's youtube channel last week and have been binge watching him since. I can't get enough of his wisdom and humility. Also, the way he talks about "Momma" (his wife) makes my heart melt. Wish I had the means to attend his school...
Mr Williamson, Just wanted to thank you for this interview with Mr Noel. There is a void in media these days where everyone has to be an epic CEO or worth billions. This was refreshing, honest, genuine, unpolished insight and in many ways what I think the Western male needs.
The fact that YOU sat down with DeWayne is absolutely insane. I’ve watched his channel for years now. He’s the type of person that this world NEEDS right now as a role model tbh. His advice and wisdom calm me and his message and life are like a “beautiful storm.” Dewayne is the father figure this backwards world needs.
Agreed! So many men can benefit from his message. Rather than escaping through phones, substances, video-games, sometimes you just gotta chill outside and relax.
Dwayne I wish I had a father figure like you in my life. I have lived a very rough life and I am in the process of changing me but I need some help. God bless you Dwayne. I wish you and your family all the love and happiness and success that life can bring.
This is one of the most magnificent conversations I have ever heard on your podcasts. It is honest, authentic, and truthful. We need more men raised under his tutoring.
Watched this while having thanksgiving dinner. A great conversation with an interesting man. His temperament and way of looking at things puts me in the mind of my grandfather, who was by far the most influential man in my life. Positively loved this, Chris. Well done.
What he said about not being able to raise kids was spot on. Everyone that I have asked always says "I'd love to have a family 'at some point,' BUT XYZ in the economy." I grew up with plenty of families with 7+ kids. They definitely couldn't afford kids, but they did it; HOW? They sacrificed. The difference between those parents and the adults right now is that they were willing to sacrifice to make this dream of a family come true; nowadays, people want the kids but they don't want the sacrifices. It's never been easy, it's never been cheap, we are just unwilling to sacrifice our comfortable lives for children who will live on and be our mark and gift to the world.
Thank you for this extremely long format interview. A lot was covered, some of it repeated, but all put into excellent detail. Dewayne Noel is about as "real" a human being as most folks will ever meet. And you can tell that when you meet a "Dewayne Noel" in your life that you've met a "real" person, a person to exemplify and learn from.
What a beautiful man! Honest and hardworking shaped and refined over and over by old father time and experience. Young people including myself need this wisdom now more than ever! Thank you for having him on was one of the best episodes I've ever listened to and will listen to it more than once. ❤
I discovered Dewayne about a year ago by accident and was a subscriber right away. Even tough we live totally different lifes on different continents, I can relate to so much he's talking about. Dewayne is putting complex things in simple words, that's what I like the most. He's about my age and as he said, - sitting on the porch with a coffee and a cigar, thinking things through, is something I also just learned to appreciate a few years ago. Maybe it's just getting older and loving peace and quiet is getting us to get rid of that temper we had to fight for decades. He needed the horses to show him, I had humans. Horses would've been better! 🙂
Listening as an older woman… this was a very insightful exchange between masculine generations. Both of you are very grounded, and it was validating., I am sure Chris, to hear your guest mirror your core insights. Very thoughtful! ❤
This was a captivating message. I absolutely love Dewayne, and find a lot of my ancestors in him. I grew up with a horse wrangler for a father and a grandpa, and have been blessed with a lot of these messages at an early age, and still the reminder of them is what brings me peace as a man. Thanks for this Chris, a great choice of an interview to be sure.
@Marking_The_Way Finding balance. His message on balance was absolutely paramount for today's young men, it's so true and so valuable for a long and happy life.
Glad you got Dewayne on. I've been following his channel for a while now. He's a solid down to earth dude. I wish there were more people like him on the internet.
Wow. “They don’t need therapy, they need gratitude”. This is gold. It’s 100% true. Men will happily carry a burden or go through hell for their loved ones, if they know those loved ones recognize it, respect it and are grateful for it. No need to talk about it.
So glad to see Dewayne here. Just discovered his channel a couple months ago. The dude is a breath of fresh air amidst the swirling maelstrom of "influencers" just trying to sound deep or smart, or just trying to get clicks/ sell you something. This is real wisdom.
This was one of the best podcasts I have seen in a while. I don't smoke but I do enjoy a good cup of coffee sitting on my porch looking out across the desert and just think .
I just want to cry listening to Dwayne. A strong man with an open and loving heart… who shares how he got there. I love people who can be real. I love how we can all expand, change and grow❤
An hour in and I'm blown away. And it's almost entirely been on points where I already thought something along those lines, but found Chris and Dewayne to articulate these points so beautifully. Bravo gentlemen.
I hear you. Anyone can talk about this stuff and it makes intellectual sense but the cowboy speaks from his experience, from his heart. We get a deeper vibe from it, if you will. This makes his message more impactful imo. I'm with you. I totally enjoyed this conversation.
I've been LISTENING to Dwayne for some time now. I can say. My temper has drastically changed. I'm more aware of my thoughts and reactions. I owe this change to you Dwayne...
Wow... i didn't want that to end. I could listen to you two guys talk all day long. The best podcast I've ever listened to. So much to absorb I'll need to watch a few more times...
I haven't watched all the video yet, but I must admit that he is probably the best version of old school man I have ever seen. It is a pleasure talking with him, even disagreeing with him
Chris, 2 hours of wonderful conversation from 2 people I have been following for awhile. Individually you both have expressed what I want to hear and say, together you've formed sort of a panel of what every man should not only watch but even if in portion, engrain in their thoughts to build themselves around. Probably the best thing I've watched/listened too in my whole life of 46 years. Thank you both for this.
Just want to chime in and say, while I love Dwayne and his messages of strength... therapy has been a totally life changing experience for me AS A MAN. Vulnerability does not equate to weakness, in fact, I believe it is a strength. It takes true strength to sit in front of another human (whether that's a therapist, a partner, or a friend) and say, "here is what I am struggling with..." Like he said, we fear we will be shot down and seen as weak, but when we have the right people in our lives, they will recognize the strength it takes to share those things, and they will validate and support us. It's not an exercise in whining, or searching for someone else to solve your problems for you. It is an exercise in baring your soul to someone you trust so that both of you can understand your internal world better. Sometimes you need an outside perspective to help work things out, and sometimes you just need to vocalize what's in your head with someone willing to listen in order to learn how to manage and move forward. Internal wounds will fester if we don't learn to communicate and work through them, and no one needs to do it alone. Deep communication on that level requires deep strength, vulnerability, and trust. That's just my two cents. Regardless I am grateful for these two men for being positive role models and expanding on this important topic.
I 💯 agree with this. When my thoughts/emotions were swirling, I knew that I needed to just have someone double-check them. What I tell my clients is that EVERY pro athlete you see (Jordan, Kobe, etc) had a coach/expert. They are THE TOP of their game and they had help. Why shouldn't you? 😃
Hi, as a therapist working mostly with men, I’m deeply appreciative of you laying it out like this. Thank you! … Why the hell haven’t you got hundreds of likes for this?! 🤔🥴
Chris thank you so much for this interview, This man is amazing, As a Lady up in age, this is truly how men are made to be, Bless you @Dry Creek Dewayne
As a father of four and married I 1000% agree about the therapy. We don’t need therapy. We just need the people we’re carrying the world of stress for to respect us and love us for it. I don’t and won’t talk about it but I do need it respected
Still need character worthy of that admiration regardless of the weight you’re carrying. If that stress breaks ya down to where ya ain’t worth being around maybe ya need to talk about something to someone.🤷♂️ Crack sum cold ones with your boys if anything many things can be “therapeutic”.
If I’m being honest I’m really resentful for being called essential and touted as a hero on TV during the height of the pandemic. Then only months later, I saw people like myself being called extremists or stupid by our fellow citizens because I had questions about putting something new to mankind in my veins. Not sure how to heal from that unless we have some justice and answers. You want me to believe it’s no one’s fault? Can’t do that. Sorry.
I've listened to Dwayne for awhile now and 1:27.51 is the most spot on words I've ever heard him say. I'm a dairy farmer with a few side hustles trying to build a legacy for my wife and kids and I didn't think they even care.
Love Dwayne! I truly wish there were more men like him and there's so much a woman can learn from a man like him. May God be with with you Dwayne! I pray that all will open their ears when you speak. Your wisdom is needed in these times.
This really moved me. Especially the part where he answered Chris’s question about what does he wish women understood more, about men. His answer made me tear up. Very moving, very accurate. Great interview. It’s saved to my favorites. ❤
Mr. Dewayne Noel is my distant mentor and a father i never had, although, I appreciate my father who brought me unto this world. Thank you to both of you gentleman! This was a blessing and treat to many young and older men in this time and age. God bless you and yours.
Working with horses is a lot like teaching high school, which I did for 47 years. I always started class in a friendly, informal manner. I would ask how they are and what’s going on with them. Sometimes, often on a Friday, I could see that they were just up for learning German that day, and we would just talk about all kinds of things. Some of those classes were the best classes I ever taught. I became acutely aware of how little adults actually listened to kids. When you shut up and just listen, you learn a lot! Just like “listening “ to the horse.
Chris. I have to say man I'm extremely proud of how far you've come over the past few years. This isn't me measuring you on who you interview...more to how I listen to how you talk and recollect and recall phrases and conversations. It's a pleasure to see and to see you talking to many grounded individuals. Keep up the good work buddy. This is why you're being so successful. Congrats and appreciate your efforts. Stay safe. James from back home. 👊🏻
I'll be honest, this is the best one yet in my opinion. LIKE HE SAID,... ITS ALL ABOUT BALANCE💯 LOVED IT!! Will give it a second listen tomorrow while i'm driving to work. Well done, who would of thought a English gent and a american cowboy would be able to chop it up and nail it down.
That balance part was great! I made a video about the Top 11 Lessons, and that was one. It was mentioned multiple times during the interview too. Why did the lesson of balance resonate with you? 👀

I love the way the podcasts/interviews are filmed in different environments. This feels like watching a time traveler go back in time to interview a cowboy. So much wisdom in this podcast
Is it not crazy that in this day and age all it takes to be wanted by the masses is to be an honest man? That is the perception that I got out of this video. Everyone even the ones on “top” need to see this. This is and was my upbringing and I found a lot of confirmation from this. Thank you both for giving a true perspective of what a man should be.

I am listening not watching sometimes I think my internet is down turns out the man just is thinking
Nobody deserves recognition and to be listened to more than the Dry Creek Wrangler. I wouldn’t do everything the way he does or had done, but his insight into why he does what he does is invaluable
Precisely! Take the parts of wisdom that resonate with you and apply it to your life!
I've never re-watched a podcast. I'll return to this to time and time again. 'I like me, I'd buy me a beer' is such a simple, yet incredibly powerful statement.
Ahhh, that was such a powerful one!
Felt that……🙏🏻
Love this
So happy to see Dwayne on your podcast. This guy has the wisdom and grit we all need in today’s society.
An American Treasure!
heard him mention that he did your podcast in one of his videos a little while ago and I was so excited. This man's values are so important so thank you for giving his voice another platform to spread his wisdom
Gotta give him the respect.
Its crazy that this whole conversation feels like everything I needed to hear at this point in time. The both of you are speaking directly to the hearts of more young men than you may realize. Thank you for all you do!
This video made me realize that I have valued the wrong things so far in life and judged myself based on those values. Thanks Dewayne
His advice and wisdom calm me and his message and life are like a “beautiful storm.”
Dewayne is the father figure this backwards world needs.
We're all wishing you the best sir! What kind of stuff are you focusing on improving?
Everything from top to bottom needs to be fixed. @@Marking_The_Way
Dewayne is Godly man with lots of wisdom, his videos have gotten me through some tough times. Glad you had him on. God bless you all
@@tradertom4843 Hope you continue to level up even more sir, regardless of your journey 🙂🙌
This is one of the most magnificent conversations I have ever heard on your podcasts. It is honest, authentic, and truthful.
We need more men raised under his tutoring.
Definitely, one of your best interviews! And Dewayne has become a new favorite of mine. You need to have him on the podcast again!
Watched this while having thanksgiving dinner. A great conversation with an interesting man. His temperament and way of looking at things puts me in the mind of my grandfather, who was by far the most influential man in my life. Positively loved this, Chris. Well done.
What he said about not being able to raise kids was spot on.
Everyone that I have asked always says "I'd love to have a family 'at some point,' BUT XYZ in the economy."
I grew up with plenty of families with 7+ kids.
“Zeus is always watching from Olympia ready to throw a thunderbolt” is the hardest line of 2024. Really great interview Chris. Well done
Exactly 😆
Dewayne is the gone missing archetype of man. Much love and appreciation for all of that honesty you're bringing to us
What a beautiful man!
He's about my age and as he said, - sitting on the porch with a coffee and a cigar, thinking things through,
is something I also just learned to appreciate a few years ago.
Such a rare breed nowadays. What was your favorite message?
@Marking_The_Way Finding balance. His message on balance was absolutely paramount for today's young men, it's so true and so valuable for a long and happy life.
Glad you got Dewayne on. I've been following his channel for a while now. He's a solid down to earth dude. I wish there were more people like him on the internet.
@@griffindaughtry Indeed, he seems authentic and rooted.
The part about Dwayne not liking himself and no one liking him and wish it would end really hits home for me
"most men live lives of quiet desperation"
I believe in you.
We have all thought it but we have to choose to not live in it.
You' ll be ite. Love will come, till then get this bread and hug your parents.❤
You ain’t alone 💪🫡😌😎💯❤️
Agreed! Taking the time to just relax and process without phones/technology is so beneficial! ☺
What a great man to speak of weakness and pride. I love his outlook.
I feel thankful that we still have men like this still living in the United States.
I'd like to be more like this guy.
@@joshfloyd7755 Me too sir! Doing it one step at a time. Also trying to help those around me and online as well.
A rare breed, but extremely refreshing and a great guiding light.
I think the world would be better if we had more men like him
I just want to cry listening to Dwayne.
Precisely. He isn't saying anything brand new, just something we all know, but in a simple way.
I hear you. Anyone can talk about this stuff and it makes intellectual sense but the cowboy speaks from his experience, from his heart. We get a deeper vibe from it, if you will. This makes his message more impactful imo. I'm with you. I totally enjoyed this conversation.

Dewayne is such a good guy that you feel like you want him to be your friend. Very glad you had him on.
He now turned into such a chill, good hearted dude. Inspiration to us all. I take it you would buy him a drink too :)
I've been LISTENING to Dwayne for some time now. I can say. My temper has drastically changed. I'm more aware of my thoughts and reactions.
I owe this change to you Dwayne...
His story helped you out, that is awesome dude. Happy to hear that 😃
Wow... i didn't want that to end. I could listen to you two guys talk all day long. The best podcast I've ever listened to. So much to absorb I'll need to watch a few more times...
Haha, agreed! I made a video summarizing the Top 11 Lessons from this. It was a challenge. What was your biggest takeaway?
Am I the only one that can't understand a word this man says.. he speakn' English? I hit my head this morning. Hello?
@@WillSmithSlappedMe He has a Southern Accent. I live in the US, so it doesn't phase me 😅
As someone who watches Dewayne for enough time to see him as our father-figure, I felt so happy and excited as if it was my dad on that podcast.
He made you proud 😃
I haven't watched all the video yet, but I must admit that he is probably the best version of old school man I have ever seen. It is a pleasure talking with him, even disagreeing with him
Chris, 2 hours of wonderful conversation from 2 people I have been following for awhile. Individually you both have expressed what I want to hear and say, together you've formed sort of a panel of what every man should not only watch but even if in portion, engrain in their thoughts to build themselves around. Probably the best thing I've watched/listened too in my whole life of 46 years. Thank you both for this.
I'm so grateful that Dewayne is getting the recognition he deserves. This man is very wise, his words, mentality and perspective, are all great🙌
Exactly!
Seeing you be so vulnerable about your life by being open and honest has been truly inspiring. Thanks guys well done!
I’m so glad people get a chance to listen to Dewayne. His two channels are great. Thanks for having him on your channel.
Solid advice from a real
Man. Common sense isn’t so common anymore. He is so right on so many levels.
This man has been a secret father figure for so long. I’m glad he’s getting the acknowledge he deserves. He’s a role model the world needs more of.
You know he's legit since he isn't trying to chase fame/fortune (from what I can tell).
Dewayne is the real deal. He’s more honest and interesting than any celebrity. Great interview🇺🇸
@@elephantintheroom-francois494 Most people read the top comments and dip. When people see a longer one, they are less likely to read it?
I’ll pass lots of therapy just doesn’t work for men. There are many avenues for growth that doesn’t involve therapy

In a world of phones and other distractions, that might be the cure 🔥
As a father of four and married I 1000% agree about the therapy. We don’t need therapy. We just need the people we’re carrying the world of stress for to respect us and love us for it. I don’t and won’t talk about it but I do need it respected
@@willybolt6397 Agreed!

@@Dovahkiin0117 Indeed. Talk about things to emotionally process it. Take action if you're not ok with the situation.
If I’m being honest I’m really resentful for being called essential and touted as a hero on TV during the height of the pandemic. Then only months later, I saw people like myself being called extremists or stupid by our fellow citizens because I had questions about putting something new to mankind in my veins.
Ive been poor a long time and money is hard to come by. At the end of the day the best feeling in knowing that you've done good in your soul that day.
One of your best episodes! It would be a treat to have a podcast that interviewed great ‘regular’ people vs celebrities of any kind.
Chris. I have to say man I'm extremely proud of how far you've come over the past few years. This isn't me measuring you on who you interview...more to how I listen to how you talk and recollect and recall phrases and conversations.
