Enfin ... Poutine et Gelato ... on ne parle pas de la même chose bien sûr!

Most people who take the bus are young working individuals in the city! No shame in it!!! On the contrary older retired people are usually in their cars driving themselves places.

I like your time lapse videography, and the use of music throughout. I understand what you mean when you say there's not much to do in old Montreal (there's a lot of tourist trap), but I cannot totally agree. There is a science museum right by the Saint Lawrence River. There is also an archaeology & history museum, which I'll visit again in a couple of days.

So simple to make yourself. Double-fried potatoes, some fresh soft cheese, and a very hot gravy sauce. Double-fried so the potato would not become mushy quickly by the gravy, The gravy has to be really hot to melt the cheese, cheddar curds by preference. Also, check out the annual Poutine Week in Quebec, where the restaurants/chefs compete for their variations on a poutine; some recipes are really creative.
Poutine has become international: one-time, I saw a clip on German TV!

So many interesting moments in your video, and so many comments ! Not sure if you knew, but the Biosphere that appears at the beginning and end (the metallic sphere with violet lighting) used to be the US pavilion in the 1967 World Exposition (Expo 67). Designed by R. Buckminster Fuller, it is one of the few original pavilions still standing. It was ceded to the city by President Lyndon Johnson.

Love your review and video, great images. Can’t get over the fact that as a Montrealer I realise that I’m frustrated to see a very basic apartment being rented as another Rbnb when there is a completly out of control housing crisis going on here. Not your fault of course, i do not wish to focus on that, but I had to make this observation.

🤣🤣🤣! You seem to like poutine! 🤣🤣🤣🤣 I don’t blame you it is amazing! 🤣🤣🤣 for the botanical garden your opinion about it would change if you talked to any of the cool gardeners maintaining it. Yes the round about on the bicycle path is very unique as I recognized it right away. There is only one. 🤣🤣🤣 very good video! Well done. When you come back to Montreal make sure that you go to China town for dim sum while listening to Leonard Cohen music. If you like winter Montreal is very nice to visit during winter.
