Excellent video, photography/videography top notch, gorgeous shots, bravo for being alone at the lookout on Mont-Royal to catch that sunrise. Your poutine discourse sounds like what my 5 year old would say if he had a more pround vocabulary hah!
*profound 🤦♀️
Living in the Seattle area, I was taken aback seeing all the bikes locked up outside. Here it's a risk leaving your car on the street, let alone your bike.
🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥still hits hard
It's one of those places locals tell their kids is haunted and not to go on because they know how dangerous it is with a live train going by. Instead of scaring them it did the opposite
You did a great job on this story brother.... Kudo's to ya
Put up safety net on the sides so when they jump off they won't get hurt
This is the definition of "boys will be boys"
Good job, I would like to add...in the 1970s and 1980s the legend was of a Sheep man as there was a nearby farm that had sheep. You could hear them on occasion at night (this was popular teen party spot). A small shack near the creek at the base of the trestle was the supposed place the creature would climb up from to attack the walker. It became a right of passage to accept the dare and walk the trestle at night. Back then there was not as much traffic...maybe 6 trains a day or so. You could literally feel the vibration of a train several miles away on the tracks while up there.
OMG, Josh and Trevor with long hair -- 😍😍😍😍😍😍😍😍😍😍
Sorry for being 2 years late but Vi’s face is killing me at 2:12 😂 edit: Same face is killing me at 7:50
Very well put together with some great time lapses and other special effects. I love Montreal!
Haha - just realized I commented here a year ago - must be a great video to keep me coming back!
Love your enthusiasm for poutine. You also have a great eye for photography. Thanks' for liking the city where I was born.
Sorry . Can’t watch more of this. I love your new videos. I love the kid doing this one. Ease up on the criticism, please. Hopefully before you get to the end the tone changes. Aaaaaaack. Can I press return on a negative comment? But it’s really a positive one, so yes. Keep up the good work. I loved Philadelphia with you. I had to screenshot the United States a few times. Ooops. I’m veering toward negative…
Absolutely love the editing that goes with the music! This was a really fun video :)
502 here. Nice to see our city and the nostalgia
I respect Josh for making the “your mom” joke before anyone else could (not that I think anyone at Mythical would say it but either way)
Josh’s Wonky “ew” face at 1:54 gets funnier every time I replay it😂🙈
6:35 “and now we add the butter” THAT one got me, I don’t know why, BUT IT GOT ME😂😂
I’ve been across it 6 times and I assure you there is no popelick monster
Reda was Doug's whore that he had in Leslie Co. His wife was Jane Fugate. He did not start Fugates Entertainment. Condy Fugate bought the land on the court house steps and told his brothers that they were going to put Second Creek on the map. That's the real truth. Reda was a side chick and when his wife Jane left she slide in Doug's life . But don't get it twisted she was a scum til she got with the Fugates.
I can honestly say being born and raised here I never have heard of this place. Which I never travel to Eastern Kentucky much except for a girl i dated in 2006 in Hindman which close to Hazard.Great video though❤
As a Kentuckian thank you for telling the story respectfully and with the facts plus unknown instead of running around the woods like a damn idiot thinking you heard something like most channels tend to. Cause everytime I see that I'm like omg 🤦♂️ not again😂. Awesome video definitely got a new sub here❤
Thank you, I'm glad you enjoyed it! I wanted to be as objective as I could, and while I have my own opinions, i try to just present facts and let others draw their own conclusions.
@@patrickhundley1203 oh yeah I respect opinions well in life in general cause there's really no right or wrong with stories like this. But 1 channel was "investigating" if that's what ya wanna call it but heard a goat noise and was running around like a nutcase 😂. I'm like ummm it's Kentucky you're gonna hear noises like that. Like for example I lived out in country all my life and bought a house in town and damn neighbors have a rooster lol. I'm not gonna lie and say it wouldn't be awesome if the pope lick monster was found. I think alot of ppl think the trestle is out of service not realizing it's still used to be honest because of how old it looks plus the allure it brings. Sorry I tend to ramble but awesome video ♥
Thank you. :-) That was a wonderful video. Nice to see that you can cycle for quite a long distance before having to interact with cars.
@@DemKatz-em5pu The bike paths along the river really are great, and it goes even further than i went in this video!
trevor is the halfway point between bo burnham and riley from national treasure
Very great documentary man I really enjoyed it, will never understand how people don't understand how much weight even just 1 unit can weigh up to
@@THE_IRON_HORSE Glad you enjoyed it!
Why do so many people in Montreal not speak French?
16:25: it might gonna sound morbid but it’s actually referring to the tombstones of the Notre-Dame-des-Neiges cemetery
28:12: Namur was meant to have another entrance at the south extremity, I assume they dropped off because of cost… 30:33 it’s an artwork named “Calcite” I think it’s referring to rock formation or something
28:12: Namur was meant to have another entrance at the south extremity, I assume they dropped off because of cost…
Fun Fact: Even the STM hates Joliette 😂 At least it’s better than Frontenac 10:14: I’ll make it short This station was in honor of Louis Buade de Frontenac , he was the general governor of New France (Quebec’s former name) , he’s also famous for his quote (Translated from French) “I will answer to your general by the mouth of my canons and gun shots”. Frontenac was a pretty bad ass character if you ask me 22:22: LaSalle actually won an architectural award for its design 23:38: The Reason why De L’Église is designed this way is because of the soil in this area is surrounded by a weak Utica shale formation, which why some station beyond LG has to be built cut and corner, extremely deep or extremely shallow or stacked platforms. Only Monk station doesn’t have this kind of issue.
Worst place to visit

So glad you are loving NY! Can't wait to come visit next summer!
I just love when one encounters other cyclists riding side by side, or in the oncoming lane and pedestrians on a bike path, unless it's a shared path. Just like drivers who don't pay attention to what is around them on the roadways and no concern for others.. Nice scenic tour thank you
First of all, thanks for the update. I love to hear what you're up to. And also, I like those shades...

Nice video, Patrick. I especially liked the evening twilight shots.
Thanks! I’ve been trying to work on evening and night shots more lately.

This is my hometown!! Great people!! I have been to all three of these places. The bowling alley, skating rink and water park. Thank you for making this wonderful tribute. I’m also a new subscriber.
Not surprising to this guy, who's had about 40 yrs of commuting experience on the island. For sure, getting around the city is faster than anything else. I've kept a keen eye on times over the years no matter what mode I am taking [car, bike, walk, bus, bike...]. Bike, on avg is fastest. And, yes, I stop at the red lights. NIce video- it's a nice little experiment and an eye-opener to non cyclists.
The chainsaw edit took me out 😂
Kind of a shame you bypassed the decorative part of St Denis with all the patios, but very pleasant stroll through the neighbourhoods.
Awesome video! Good to see videos of this city
"MACS DUN!!!!"
Pro tip: Make sure the saddle height is right for you, so you don't waste energy. Also, ride every day or at least going to work/commute. You will naturally become fit and that bridge 'climb' will be laughably easy. It's surprising what the human body can do with enough practice. Also, you say there's no payoff. I beg to differ: You enjoy a nice sunny day instead of waiting for a smelly, overcrowded train. I enjoyed the video and editing though.
