- In this video I showcase how you can write a catchy Post Punk style song. this method is pretty simple. All you need is a little inspiration from your favorite Post Punk artist and some patience. This song was inspired by Eyedress. I had fun making this one so I hope you guys can take something positive from this and enjoy!

I think people tend to forget Post Punk was almost a Dance genre and to some it was a Dance genre. So you can't get too crazy with the arrangement.
Tone definitely has "the Cure" vibe. Awesome post punk new wave.

Yeah, do you use Ableton? In Preferences there should be a tab that says Audio and another tab where it says latency. You should be able to adjust from there.

This could be classified as post punk but it kinda has a bit of indie mixed in. Could you perhaps do something a bit darker and more melancholic, like Russian post pank? Maybe use дурной вкус - пластинки as inspiration

No, not at all. I just used the word Poser to catch some people’s attention. If anything I’m the poser for not knowing enough about the artist and trying to make a song like them.
