I had visited Chanwabat, Lohaghat, Mayavati ashram, Pithoragarh long back 1991-92 during my work in CRPF on official trip. We stayed overnight at Champawat . Your video is excellent and very nice hindi description . pl ease keep it up . I have already subscribed. Do you have Munsiyari video?

Sir thanks for your nice video. I have to visit shyamatal vivekanand ashram. By bus I have decided to travell from Delhi to by bus to tanakpur & then by any local transport. Which mode will be comfortable from tanakpur to reach
Shyamatal. Train arrives at 4: 30 in evening How much taxi will take time to reach at shyamatal from tanakpur.& expected taxi charges.
I am senior citizen &revelling with friends. My message is long please excuse & inform in short.i will be highly obliged

The distance from Tanakpur to Shyamala Tal is about 28 kms. I am not sure about shared taxi fare, roughly it can be between Rs 1.50 to Rs 3.00 per kilometer in hills (depending on road conditions and frequency of taxis).
Vivekananda Ashram is a short distance away (about 1 km) from Shyamaltal Lake, ask your taxi driver to drop you off at the gate of the ashram. And I hope you have already taken permission to stay in the ashram there (the ashram has limited accommodation for those who have taken permission to stay in advance.)
We wish you a wonderful visit to Shyamaltal.

By Rail : Nearest Railway station is Tanakpur and Kathgodam (Haldwani) from Champwat
We have no idea about direct train from Pune, but there are few trains from Delhi and other places.
By Air - Pantnagar is nearest Airport, from there you can take taxi to reach Champawat.
