    Sir; I understand the basics of the HVDC transmission system. But I am unable to understand one problem of the transmission line being built by the Chinese government in Pakistan that the towers are getting black with conductors on the vertical and horizontal side and when asked about this from the Chinese they said that Due to the deposition of charge, the dust particles accumulate on the tower. While I am not satisfied with this answer of the Chinese engineers, because according to my knowledge, apart from the Chinese technology, the transmission lines of other countries are not black from this location. Please help me in this matter.

      Bro pura video dekho. Hamara local system sab AC hei. to High voltage DC to AC convert karne ke liye bouth mehenga system lgvana padtha kei aur wo bhi utna stable system nahi he maintenance bhi jyada hai. To uskakeliye
      lambi doori ka system cost effective hoga

      dude U are talking about 100+MW so even 1% loss is too high and moving parts are not suitable for 24 X 7 X years operations they Use to do that in small sacle but we learend quicly it was too wastefull

      most system are AC only and HVDC link is only between substation (which also does the conversion)

      Transformers are the main reason even in HVDC it has to made in AC to step up or down

      I have to feed a whole town at low voltage the cable will draw too much amps which will melt the cable so to keep voltage low we use high voltage

    Gernator AC convert high voltage then convert into High voltage dc then convert ac in substation and stepdown using transformer and distribute into home and all wires are underground 😃

    Bhaiya, Voltage ko aap VOLTAGE bol Rahe ho...but current ko AMPERE Kyun bol Rahe ho, CURRENT ko CURRENT hi bolona,yeh bahut hi common mistake hai India mein.

      Voltage is measured in volt os if I say volt or voltage most people will get what I am talking about. Current needs amp to make any sense that is why I use amps in current

      Cost of DC to AC converter was too high as solid state tech upgraded this becomes more economical
