Whether you're a fan or not..his voice is incredible. From a bygone era where singers had to be able to sing and do it damn well. No software to hide behind.
Much the same about Mack The Knife by Bobby Darin, about a killer. Bobby was advised not to perform that song because of the subject matter but it turned out to be a smash hit for him.
Whenever this is played in the UK, everybody joins in singing- and after the line "she stood there laughing" everybody goes "ha ha ha" - it's an audience participation song.
You guys are so fun to watch in this reaction. The first time I saw this performance, I was like "Wow, Tom's killin' it." Then I was like "Wait a second. He really is killing it." 😳🤣
Just amazing! I am English and I never ever want you to think we take you for granted! Truly a god given voice, the power of a jet engine, the calmness of a steam, you make every song your own. I am so glad you enjoyed this performance, we have been so lucky for years to see Tom and enjoy and appreciate every song he has sung!
He recently performed at the Queens jubilee he is now 82 and still has a great voice it was my highlight of the night. many wonderful artists but Tom is in a class of his own.
My mom was a huge Tom Jones fan, so I had heard this song back in the day. Your reaction was honest, sincerely shocked, and wonderful to experience, as always. Thank you for sharing with us.
Yup. He did her in!!! My sister was and still us madly in love with Tom. So are a few aunties and more than half of the world. I read that he could have easily been an opera singer with his range. God broke the mold when Tom was born. FACT. Great reaction guys
You notice he wasn't too close to the mike. There's a reason for this. It's been said, that his voice was so strong, if he was so close to it, he would actually destroy the mike!( This happened several times, infact). That man sure can belt out a song! LoveTom Jones!!
T’s face when he realized Delilah laughed no more lol 😂 This song is a little bit disturbing but Tom Jone’s voice and delivery are so charming and strong that one hardly notices. 😉
I have always loved Tom Jones (long before Fresh Prince hehe). Just the pure POWER and yet clarity in his voice is staggering to me. And such a showman. I can't help but smile whenever I heard one of his songs.
One of my mom's favorites was, She's a Lady. We played the heck out of that one around our house! Great dance song! Love your reactions, y'all are adorable!!
Great reaction to a fantastic performance. Here in the UK everyone knows this song and people immediately start singing it at any event it is played. Tom Jones was a great friend of Elvis’s and still has a great voice.
A huge hit for Tom who is still touring and playing to packed audiences, his back catalogue is huge, as is the list of stars that he has played with including Elvis. Green green grass of home , another huge hit. A true superstar...
Just love Tom Jones & his powerful voice, I was at a works do when I was asked to do a Karaoke to Toms Delilah, I thought go for it as I knew the lyrics from my mum playing it. For my first time I got a good reaction. I can feel the song Tom sings with passion.
Not sure why I like these reaction videos, but I do, and you folks are great. Wonderful personalities, good reaction, fun to watch. As good as I've seen in this genre.
He has been a favorite for years!! Him and Engelbert Humperdinck. You must review Tom Jones "Green, Green Grass of Home. There is a live version of this on "The Voice" where he sings it with his grandson!!! It's so good it gives you the chills. ALSO, you must hear some of Engelbert Humperdinck's music. "Please Release Me" and "The Last Waltz" love both of these artists 💞
And everyone in the UK, when he sang 'She stood there laughing' joined in with a Ha ha ha ha! Obligatory here! He has an epic voice, and even Elvis thought so! I think they met in Vegas. T's face was great. I'd love to see your reaction to Thunderball which he sang for a James Bond theme
some other live numbers: "Raise Your Hand" with Janis Joplin, "Baby Baby Baby" with Dusty Springfield, and "You´ve Got What It Takes" with Fran Jeffries. I recommend specially the last one...
Check out his 80th birthday party video. He has taken good care of himself, still stands tall and straight and can still belt it out! Another artist you may enjoy is Herb Alpert, the trumpet player. He did have a hit with one song that he sang (This Guy's in Love), but the trumpet is his forte, he is a virtuoso. Try "A Taste of Honey".
My mom LOVED that song; she would walk around the house singing it. My wife and I loved the name so much, we named our daughter.....Delilah! Tom Jones has one of the best voices ever.
We saw Tom at a concert at Hampton Court Palace about 5 years ago and he was brilliant, he’s gone back to his rock and blues roots, even singing Sister Rosetta Tharpe songs, an unexpected choice of songs, and he demonstrated his depth of musical ability and his voice is still as strong, unbelievable performance
Tom is a coach on the Voice UK and he shared a story on one episode. He said that once, Michael Jackson came to his door to visit. Michael said "WOW, you had a great career". Tom replied "having". Tom said he wasn't done yet.
You should check Tom Jones out with some of the collaborations he did starting with Janis Joplin “Raise your Hand” then The Cardigans “Burning down the House” then Art of Noise “Kiss”. Plus worth checking out is Tom doing the song “Sexbomb”
For a fun Tom Jones tune, check out 'What's new Pussycat?', also 'She's a Lady' is a cool song. "Green, green grass of home'. Tom had a swagger & was a ladies man big time. Great voice. He is 82 years old & still performing & is Welsh, if you were wondering about his accent. You hear if far more when he is speaking rather than singing.
top of my list by Tom Jones -- 1)- I Who Have Nothing... 2) Without Love... 3) Green Grass of Home... 4) Daughter of Darkness...5 ) With These Hands ( used in the film Edward Scissorhands )... 6) She's a Lady...
Listen to that full orchestra! Live! I miss those days.....

I love to see young people appreciating the music from the 60s and 70s. Some were forgotten because they were "too good", such as Andy Williams, Osmond Brothers, Ritchie Valens (Richard Steven Valenzuela, just in case), Bee Gees, Andy Gibb, Abba, Carole King, The Carpenters, The Mamas & the Papas, The Seekers, The Police (with Sting as their leading voice), Genesis (with Phil Collins). There is so much you can explore, because these are the people who introduce popular music to a higher level. Thank you for the video.
my mom had all of his records, and when I got my 1st record player, around 7-8 yrs. old, my neighbors all got a daily concert of me singing out the backyard window. I still love Sir Tom!
Tom Jones is a Welsh man all his songs are fantastic anthem at any local pub.and rugby game ..just hit the juke box and everyone will sing to this .. us welsh are known for there singing 🏴🏴
We used to live near Tom in the 70’s and when he was home his body guards would visit our pub… The Britannia Inn in Porth, South Wales 🏴🏴🏴🏴
I've been enjoying your varied reactions, but what I find I appreciate more is you as a couple. Watching you makes my old heart smile. Be well. Edit: Subscribed!
You know what is amazing is to watch some clips of Tom Jones and Jennifer Hudson improving on the set of the Voice UK. She's one of the greatest voices of all time with amazing range and power and the two of them had a certain chemistry that was a pleasure to watch.
I grew up listening to Tom Jones as my mother was a big fan. She would scour the TV Guide to find him performing on TV. Another of her favorites was Engelbert Humperdinck. Very similar to Tom Jones as he too was a Brit. If you check out Engelbert Humperdinck, try "A Man Without Love", "Quando, Quando, Quando", or "Please Release Me". "Please Release Me", also known as "Release Me" was recorded by dozens of folks, Elvis included. It was Tom Jones' manager who convinced Gerry Dorsey (Humperdinck's real name) to change his name.
Great video! Delilah is my all time favorite Tom Jones song! He can still sing at age 82. Just saw him in concert last weekend! You should listen to Green Green Grass of Home. Classic and a tear jerker. Thanks!
My mother, a white woman born in the 30’s, thought Tom Jones was a black singer because of the richness of soul, rhythm and sexiness that she heard from him on the radio in the late 50’s/early 60’s. She was quite surprised when she saw him on TV!
Just for fun, you should watch the Italian trio IL Volo’s tribute to Tom Jones, with their fabulous rendition of this terrific and catchy song! There are many videos of their live performances of it. 🎉
when I was 11 we moved into town-I got a paper route and every wednesday night, I went and collected the money from all my cistomers- One little old lady loved Tom Jones and she would have me in to watch his show and eat cookies. She had his pictures everywhere! My favorite TJ song is "she's a lady"
Glad you've found Yon and appreciate his voice. He's been around since the early '60's. Had his own variety TV show about 1965 He started singing in pubs in Wales, UK. Now is a British Voice coach. Had a big song in the mid 1990's. Still has a decent voice even though he's in his eighties!
Neil Young has an I killed my girl song , “ Down by the River “ & Jimi Hendrix does “ Hey Joe “. The Beatles come close to. It with “ Run for your Life “.
I've heard it said that when Tom Jones sang the theme song for James Bond's Thunderball, he put so much effort into hitting the final note, he passed out.
What is your favorite Tom Jones song?
Green, green grass of home...
I agree with George! He was so great back in the day and the women went wild !
That would be
It’s not unusual
"What's New Pussycat?" and "I, I who have nothing"
I Who Have Nothing
Whether you're a fan or not..his voice is incredible. From a bygone era where singers had to be able to sing and do it damn well. No software to hide behind.
This was a huge hit for Tom back in the day. His voice is unmistakable. Imagine…a hit song about a murder!!! Thank you both for your great reaction.
Thats whats so crazy about this song!
Much the same about Mack The Knife by Bobby Darin, about a killer. Bobby was advised not to perform that song because of the subject matter but it turned out to be a smash hit for him.
More to the point is the fact that when he performed it live women threw their underwear onstage.
a great hit by a master ....and a great song by anyone competent .
"Hazzard " by Richard Marx.
Tom is one of the judges on the voice UK. Now over 80, he often still breaks into song!!!!
.... And he can still very well!
Just like Shirley Bassey
I am a classically trained jazz singer, and I have been saying for years that this man is a SINGER!!!!!!!!
Whenever this is played in the UK, everybody joins in singing- and after the line "she stood there laughing" everybody goes "ha ha ha" - it's an audience participation song.
or she should have had her weetabix !
You guys are so fun to watch in this reaction. The first time I saw this performance, I was like "Wow, Tom's killin' it." Then I was like "Wait a second. He really is killing it." 😳🤣
Agreed, enjoying seeing them enjoying and reacting to the song!
I have seen him recently and although he is quite old now his voice is still amazing. He also performed with Elvis.
He never performed with Elvis. They were just good friends. Tom said in his book that they never performed on stage together.
Just amazing!
I am English and I never ever want you to think we take you for granted!
Truly a god given voice, the power of a jet engine, the calmness of a steam, you make every song your own. I am so glad you enjoyed this performance, we have been so lucky for years to see Tom and enjoy and appreciate every song he has sung!
this song is sung by hundreds of people in pubs in the uk ,we all love the song
He recently performed at the Queens jubilee he is now 82 and still has a great voice it was my highlight of the night. many wonderful artists but Tom is in a class of his own.
My favorite Tom song is Green green grass of home. Heart wrenching.
He's now 82 and his voice is still incredible.
My mom was a huge Tom Jones fan, so I had heard this song back in the day. Your reaction was honest, sincerely shocked, and wonderful to experience, as always. Thank you for sharing with us.
Yup. He did her in!!!

God broke the mold when Tom was born. FACT.
Great reaction guys
He sings with tremendous power. Welshmen are famous for it.
You notice he wasn't too close to the mike. There's a reason for this. It's been said, that his voice was so strong, if he was so close to it, he would actually destroy the mike!( This happened several times, infact). That man sure can belt out a song! LoveTom Jones!!

“Without Love” Tom really shows the power of his voice
Wow!!! He never fails to awe me!!! Glad you enjoyed this!!
Yeah, I saw that. The whole crowd, along with Price William, was singing “Delilah” at a soccer(or you guys call football) game.
I got to go see him back in the day and he was awesome! I heard him sing the other day on TV and he has not lost it at all.
And he still awesome he sings exactly the way he sang back then
A huge hit for Tom who is still touring and playing to packed audiences, his back catalogue is huge, as is the list of stars that he has played with including Elvis. Green green grass of home , another huge hit. A true superstar...
Elvis's manager would never let Elvis perform with Tom.
That’s because Tom Jones had a more powerful voice than Elvis.
Two entertainers that can't be denied on stage is Jones and Elvis, they had that "it" that most artist want that can't achieve.
I would also add James Brown
Tom and Elvis were good friends.
And George Michael
@Donatella Loncar not on the same level
Judy Garland
Saw him live and his voice is phenomenal.
Just love Tom Jones & his powerful voice, I was at a works do when I was asked to do a Karaoke to Toms Delilah, I thought go for it as I knew the lyrics from my mum playing it. For my first time I got a good reaction. I can feel the song Tom sings with passion.
That voice omg never ceases to amaze me, sends goosebumps through you. Sublime.
His voice gives me goosebumps!!
When this came on the juke box on a Saturday night the whole pub would sing along, it was brilliant. Great times.
Not sure why I like these reaction videos, but I do, and you folks are great. Wonderful personalities, good reaction, fun to watch. As good as I've seen in this genre.
I can see why my mom loved him so much!

I heard him perform this last night at the Chicago Theatre and it was outstanding!
I love this song! I remember listening to Tom Jones since I was a little girl.
Tom Jones was a mega Superstar during the 60s 70s 80s and beyond. He's still singing and he's over 80 years old now....
Green Green Grass of Home. More mellow but IT"S TOM!!!
You guys are adorable 😂I’m from a family of 8,my five sisters went crazy for him. My Papa controlled the remote. I lucked out to be born with music 😂
Tom Jones live on his own TV show --- "Treat Her Right". Very entertaining! You'll both be falling out of your chairs.
some other live numbers: "Raise Your Hand" with Janis Joplin, "Baby Baby Baby" with Dusty Springfield, and "You´ve Got What It Takes" with Fran Jeffries. I recommend specially the last one...

He did this song live at Glastonbury fairly recently, when he sings this there is a great deal of audience participation, worth a look.
I loved watching the Tom Jones show when I was growing up.
He's nearly 80 now and still hits those notes.....fab.
Tom is a coach on the Voice UK and he shared a story on one episode. He said that once, Michael Jackson came to his door to visit. Michael said "WOW, you had a great career". Tom replied "having". Tom said he wasn't done yet.
Nobody batted an eye back when this was first out. Love him and this song.

And Tom’s incredible vocal chords.
Listen to that full orchestra! Live! I miss those days.....

He also did this song years later as a duet with Luciano Pavoratti. That's worth checking out.
I was such a kid when this was out, big fan.
And you guys are such a cute couple!
Thanks for bringing it.
my mom had all of his records, and when I got my 1st record player, around 7-8 yrs. old, my neighbors all got a daily concert of me singing out the backyard window. I still love Sir Tom!

What an enjoyable pair you two. Great reaction.
Great song! Brought tears to my eyes!
For me as an Englishman, it's refreshing to see Americans look outside your bubble and listen to a great Welsh singer.
He is a judge on the voice uk. Over 80 and still going strong.
Tom Jones did a Vegas showroom in 2000.
The guy did not need a microphone,, despite the brass band behind him.....still an amazing performance, IMO
Unmistakable voice!
I think he’s 82 and he’s still singing…! Absolutely great..!!
He's always been awesome❤
We used to live near Tom in the 70’s and when he was home his body guards would visit our pub… The Britannia Inn in Porth, South Wales 🏴🏴🏴🏴
The follow up song to this is "The Green Green Grass Of Home"...

Really love your energy and enthusiasm.X
Gotta love the band leader in the back with Happy Feet.
The story is patterned after an Opera i.e. Carmen. Check out what happens in the Opera "Carmen" by Bizet

Loved the reaction when the knife line came up...especially since you just mentioned that Johnny Cash song... :-)
I've heard it said that when Tom Jones sang the theme song for James Bond's Thunderball, he put so much effort into hitting the final note, he passed out.
I love it!! I doubt he blacked out because he remembered what he did!! I was rolling 😂😂😂😂🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣
O MAIS INCRÍVEL, É QUE ESSE CARA CONTINUA CANTANDO COM MAIS DE 80 ANOS!!!!! TOM JONES É "CERNE" PURO!!!!😜
