The program is named Woodturner PRO and there is more information at woodturnerpro (dot) com. Click the 'Front Page' link and then click 'Software' in the sub-menu for more information.
A 30 day trial is available. While you're there, click on the links to the Gallery to see examples of projects users have submitted using the software.

Hello Lloyd, I have used Woodturner Pro for several times. Now I want to make a globe and therefore I found this tutorial so useful. But when I started with 3DP and tried to copy a circle jpg as background picture, the program dosn't allow it. The message ist "Unable to load image". Do I use an old version ?

Thanks for the tutorial. I have replicated your steps and have a design but I'm stumped on the wall thickness. I don't know what it is or how to change it.

ScottMcNorton There are only two additional videos for the Tornado Globe and they are for cutting segments for open segment projects. The first one is for a jig for the miter saw and the second is for a table saw jig. Here are the links to the two videos:Miter Saw: ruclips.net/video/m88LGFQOjEMT/видео.htmlable Saw: ruclips.net/video/Z-sALtLqrhwI/видео.html'm going to be tied up for the next couple months due to some family health issues and two graduations, but will be making more video tutorials after that.Lloyd

This looks like a great video but the audio makes it hard to watch. It really sounds muffled.

why would you use a tutorial of a design that a beginner with the software is least likely to turn? how about a bowl or a vessel.
