After being in such a beautiful place like this it would be really hard to pack up and leave. Why do we get into these situations. We shouldn't have to leave. Just keep on living the life!!!
Another great spot mate👍. How cool are the platypus, we were lucky enough to see 3 different ones when we toured around Tassie for 5 weeks a few years ago. Such great little animals ❤
Awesome spot, spotting platypus’s is a definite bonus. Fair few wardrobe changes in amongst all that 👍🏼😂. That wasn’t the hook up I was expecting either !! 😂😂 Nice stuff guys. 👌
Very anti-productive! The epitome of a quiet, relaxed get away. Thanks guys for sharing it with us. I felt relaxed after watching. I'm a bit miffed I didn't get an invite lol. You seem to have mastered the poly block hitch.
Can’t beat sitting next to the river having a beer mate 🍺 I bought the 4 panel Oz Barrier from the show, can’t wait to use it on our next trip. Top video and awesome spot Shad 🤙🏻
Great looking spot. Amazing to see a platypus in the wild. Drove past you on Sunday on my way out to Lithgow, assume you were on your way back home from this spot.
Bloody Hippie-Camp ! What The ! Hahahaha sorry mate a 70’s joke lol First time I’d seen an Ultimate Camper in the wild 😜 was in the Vic-High Country on Billy’s Goats track we’d just got to the helipad from bottom/start got out for a look and a chat as she was rough and rocky/gravely slippery that year very early 2000’s-ish and as we got out of cars we could hear this god almighty banging , clashing and real hollow pounding 😮😮 waited for about 15 mins and a New Toyota Landcruiser emerged and was towing one Brand-spanken New Ultimate up the track with 4 push bikes strapped to the roof hahahaha the guy slowed up at the Helipad looked left seen the rest of where the track went UP and gunned it again and off it went. Funniest thing we’d seen all day But great effort for the trailer going that speed up that hill . And after seeing where you take yours and how you respect it yours is going to last you for years & years 👍 Good spotting of the platypi mate 🤪 Top effort you Two thanks again for all ya hard work at Relaxing 😎
They are an awesome camper, ours is 12 years old now and been plenty of places i can tell you but people still ask if its brand new 😂. Thanks for watching 👍🤠
Despite many Hipcamp bookings, i have only managed to be on two properties that didn’t have other campers, yet i pay over 5 times as much as the public campgrounds and often don’t have the ammenities and facilities like the public ones. I won’t ever use them again, it’s becoming like personal caravan parks without the benefits… at the start several years ago it was awesome, now not so much unfortunately…
Beautiful spot. How do you find those little folding chairs? I just picked one up from Anaconda although it is a low back and am worried they won't be very strong. They claim 120kg but I'm very doubtful. Those wraps sound pretty nice too. Wicked seeing the Platypus too, I've never seen one in the wild.
I love my helinox chair , was a bit expensive but ive had it over 4 years and i camp a bit too 😂. Not sure about the anaconda ones though, I’m sure they’ll be ok. The wraps were really nice hey and awesome too see platypus even though ive seen a few its still amazing every time you see one .
@shaddonaghue cheers mate. The Anaconda one was about $60 so not too expensive. I mostly wanted something small and light weight to throw in the car for when I park up somewhere for a cuppa or just to relax for a bit. I will take my bigger ones for camping trips
@@shaddonaghue Thats what I was thinking mate. Small, Light weight and easy to store out of the way but quick and easy when I park up somewhere nice for a cuppa and relax.
Another great Vid Chad. I’m curious about the new OzBarrier panels. We have the 4 panel ones and they’re actually too heavy for us to take away. How much do the 3 panels weigh and were you happy with them?
Hi mate, the 3 panel is 8.5 kg (3mm thick ) and the 4 panel is 15kg (4mm thick ) so a far bit of difference. I have only used the 3 panel a couple of times now, i think i like the 4panel more but if weight is the deciding factor have to go 3 panel, so much lighter.
@@ducfatsvideos.6293 yeah I can’t put my finger on it , maybe its just because its 4 panels, i will use the 3 for a while and see. Coming into summer though might be hard.
Another top entertaining vid. How good are the platypus!! Looked like a lovely camp site to do sfa at. My kinda weekend.
Yeah was an awesome spot to do that at 😂😂, exactly what we needed
Good one Shad & Natasha , love the river love Mum 💙💙
Thanks mum 🤠👍

Would e awesome to just keep on going and not come home 👍🤠
Looks like a great spot and to have platypus is a huge bonus
Thanks mate , not everyday there is platypus swimming around

You seem to have mastered the poly block hitch.
Thanks mate, yeah the poly block 😂😂, we have mastered it but would love a do35 one day. Thanks for watching 👍🤠
Beautiful spot Shad love your posts, as I have said before you need to chuck a line in. Keep them coming.
Yes , I definitely need to sort out my fishing gear and leave it in the car 👍🤠. Thanks for watching
Great spot, great video, thanks for sharing.

Great work capturing the platypus. They're hard to see in the wild. What great location and weather you had. 👌

Thanks mate, it was a cracker spot 🤠👌
‘I don’t wanna go home, but we have to…’ we say that at the end of every trip!😆
sticky chicken and veg come up a treat eh.
Yeah , not very often that you actually want too go home , the chicken was good 👌
I might need to checkout some hipcamps!
Definitely some good ones around thats for sure

Thanks for watching, glad you enjoyed it and it was great seeing the platypus. Yes maybe you seen us on bells line of road

Mate how good are Hipcamp’s!
Yeah mate , no rubbish and no dickheads its a win win for me 😂😂.

Yeah that’s correct, you definitely have to pick the ones , because some aren’t worth it , we mainly camp state forests but with the odd hipcamp.
Camper looks good mate nice and comfortable why keeping weight down
Yeah its pretty lightweight, thanks for watching 🤠👍👍
Chad could you include in your videos how to get there please ?
Depends where it is , spots like this one i can but a simple google search takes you there.
I normally put the area in
Hi,
great vid, have to ask , where did you get the heat reflector shield for your fire pit ? Ive looked online but cant seem to find one.
