Eject on Mamo is definitely most valuable for engages. I love ejecting during the last stomp of the Unite. Ppl think they're far enough away until they're suddenly airborne.

I prefer double stacking and High Horsepower over Earthquake, Horsepower just feels better to me and the shove can be nasty, I feel like EQ is too slow to be that effective.

I use to overlook EQ too but when playing the move it can be hard to realize just how much stun/CC you're providing (on top of damage) and the more foes you hit the crazier it gets in terms of value to the team. That's also key in getting value out of the move, using with a team or in a team fight to set up big plays.
High Horsepower is still my favorite out of the two and does feel a little smoother to use but EQ does have a high winrate for a reason.
In the past I thought it would be nice if EQ had a larger radius.
Earth quake can secure ray and turn that 5v5
Crazy how this build has consistently had the highest winrate throughout Mamoswine's lifetime while being one of the lowest played 😅
This is my go-to Mamo build, it often catches ranged enemies off guard since Icicle crash to earthquake stuns them for such a long time, and gives my allies time to follow up.
You’re brave af. I’m scared to play tank and if I do I play trevenant but my teammates just sit in a bush while I stuns 3 people.
@@digital3184 well, it doesn't really always go that way. Most of the time my teammates are also like yours, so before I engage I try to look at the map if my allies are around. If that always ends up bad, I try to play around my attackers, and counter initiate those that try to dive them.

@@jicsboli06 I used to do that with umbreon and the enemy team would get wrecked just go mean look snarl or wish with 4 attackers in my team. I would have to protect 4 presidents

I do like Potion on Mamo(exp share, Res guard, Focus). It has a low cooldown so you have a nice healing option every fight, using in mid unite has saved me quite a bit. Though I also never pick EQ where eject would be very nice to have.

Cris play icicle with horsepower
I like the Playstyle of high horse power with icicle spear simply because the reaction time of high horsepower, it feels more satisfying for me. Eject high horsepower combo is a great engage
The only thing i would really change about the build , is instead of scarf use weakness policy
Coming from a mamo main, you DO want potion. Followed by cookie, and focus band. Keep the resonant guard. BIG trust.
Potion is ok, but eject has far better outplay and engagement potential.

Umbreon or Mamoswine for defender ?
Umbreon, its profile so much value to the team.
Also depends on team comp, if the enemies are very stun prone then mamo. But mamo lacks sustain fs
Generally speaking, Umbreon is more useful because it's so versatile. Mamo has better stuns, a ton of health, more mobility, and can take a hit. Umbreon has better sustain, can be a defender or support, isn't punished as much for running exp. share, has a better unite move, better secure, a better passive, and better moves, but it lacks Mamo's health and defenses so it gets KOed easier.

Yess a mamo gameplay!!! its my mon that climbed me to 1400+ right now, the only difference in my build is that I use weakness instead of resonant cause i dont trust my lane cinder and grens lol but imo resonant is much better since you are a defender after all. Thank you cris

Ice fang + horsepower is much better.

I find ice fang to be the better move because you can be extremely annoying with it and it’s very powerful by itself.
Icicle crash is more of a move that can be selected anytime but with HH is better as a crown control move. Eq and fang are good at locking down single Pokémon if you chain your stuns together otherwise they can really be used in any combination. You could even ice fang, drop them behind you and then HH away to push them far away.
fight_and_die has a good response so I'll just talk about my experience.
Ice Fang is definitely my preference, mainly because the boosted will auto-target an enemy (while with Icicle Crash for some reason it won't) and I've always liked HH but EQ does have a good winrate for a reason I've found overtime.

As a Mamoswine main it still baffles me that people use Earthquake instead of High Horsepower. High Horsepower is SOOOO MUCH BETTER than Earthquake; Earthquake takes 3 years to activate and it's so much better for movement.
Your points on High Horsepower are definitely true.
I do think Earthquake is overlooked though (I use to think it wasn't that good either) but the about of stun/CC it provides is brutal for the other team. Its just hard to feel its effectiveness when you're dealing with the clunkiness of it. But EQ becomes incredibly pivotal in team fights and especially the big Ray fight where it really matters.
Earthquake is better for ray fight, hence why it has higher win rate. Earthquake glues a whole team in one spot for a long time.
@@jakiru8783 Earthquake does have it's uses but I feel like during a match High Horsepower proves to be more useful for you AND your team than Earthquake could ever be. Honestly I would use Earthquake more if they just made it faster to activate.
