And I swear Why are people worrying about her album sales, I mean really this chic is on her 13th album! For you regular people that don't know that album sales are only a small part of her business. Remember regular people, MJB is called on to sing all over the world for everybody and they damn momma! MJB is good! She is at a point where she can make music try different things that may and may not work! These people making music these days was not even out when MJB hit the scene, shit MJB still spending money from the 90"s lol!!

Why does she ALWAYS clear her throat after answering a question? Is that like a nervous grunt or something? A tick? Anyway, long time fan right here. Ending of 1991. Unfortunately, she hasn't been groundbreaking since The Breakthrough album back in 2005. After that she's been just ok with just ok songs. She faces the problem that most artists from her era face, song selections. These songs are typically flat and boring. They just don't stick anymore. I listened to the London Session 3 times just to make sure I wasn't missing anything. I only liked a few songs and I *made* myself like them. That's bad. I understand experimenting because I love all music, but GIRL!
I agree with you totally. Not my cup of tea at all. Yes MJB is a Icon /Legend, no one can touch her, but nah not the album for me. I'm not a club head so I don't get it all, no Ministry of Sound, Jungle, CREAMFIELDS for me, so I'll wait till the next.

I believe she clears her throat because she is always using those vocals. And MJB is a legend and groundbreaking album sales I believe is the least of her concerns. She is still able to sell out arenas. I think most people need to understand that MJB has traveled way into the millennium and she really don't have to go through that selling faze. She has already made history. Lets leave these popular album sales to these newbies.
