Eric, help me not fail. Lol here goes. Part ordered and waiting to do this job. Not doing the thermostat, just the water outlet.
Hey man, thanks for the video. Helped me replace the mom's on her cruze.
Glad to help thank you!
Look at that No Dexcool coolant
Super helpful video! Thank you!
Glad to help thank you
the hose you disconnected at 4:30 the large one, what is the hose called? i need to replace that aswell
Life saver
OEM on the coolant system is not the right way to go. I have been told that GM parts for most of the coolant system is crap, by multiple sources. This part may not have an alternative, but there were casting issues. I found another video showing a crack along a casting line, which is what my current problem appears to be. At least I know it probably isn't the head gasket. Close one!
Chevy made it so difficult to work on the chevy cruze,do you have a video on how to replace the hose to the outlet with the big hole? I can't reach the bottom clamp it's very well hidden🤦🏻♂️
You know what that hose is called ?
it's called the upper radiator hose
I replaced my water outlet 2016 cruze limited eco now car wont start any reason please help
At the 11:50 mark, you described on your video how to replace the cam phaser seal. Are those two round sliver parts called a "cam phaser" or is it called "Camshaft Position Actuator?" Because, when I looked up cam phaser for a 2016 Chevy Cruze LT on Google, it shows a completely different part. Can you verify if this is correct? Thank you
I'm only aware of CAM PHASER bolts for timing
Mine is leaking on that connection on top of that wire clip, the one you said it's broken on the video what can I do, at Reeds they told me to buy that whole
bottom part which is so expensive but it's not even leaking, I suspect the orien rings are not sealing properly, however I can't find them either because they're specially designed to make me suffer 😭😭. Please help
You need to buy the whole thing unfortunately
Where did you get the replacment elbow that was broken?
The dealership
@@ERICSDIYGARAGE thanks! Having an hard time Getting that stainless steel clip back in
I have 2016 chevy cruze limited eco replaced water outlet now car wont start no lights wipers or windows roll down just radio an dash lights working please help
Probably a dead battery
Brand new battery
Why did you drain the radiator?
To drain the block and not make a mess when you remove the water outlet
Do you know the name of the connector you removed at 5:16 im looking to buy one but cannot figure out the name
I don't believe you can replace the clip/connector you have to buy the whole hose that goes to the tank overflow if you don't want to buy a new hose what you can do is cut the section that is clamped on a plastic tube and fit that hose over the water Outlet tip and it should work as well
@@ERICSDIYGARAGE i bought a new hose but the piece that i put the hose into is broken and i need the new connector piece and cant find the name of it
The hose didnt come with the little connector thing that i needed
send me a picture on Instagram @ericsdiy

the vent connectors are the worst parts ever put on my Buick Encore, Note if using the same vent connector to thermostat housing do not buy Aftermarket Thermostat housing as it will surely leak when putting the vent connector back into the thermostat housing buy OEM GM parts save yourself some grief. I fixed my leak problem by using JB weld plastic epoxy to seal permanently the 2 part connector as one part works fine now no leak,
Do you know what that big hose to the outlet to the radiator
I don't understand the question sorry
The big hole to the outlet goin to the radiator I’m trying to find the hose part number
