For me, its like the perfect hockey goal. We have more or less the three best players Sweden has ever produced in hockey, and they play at the same time. Its their last chance to win an olympic medal, and then to have the three of them contribute for the winning goal.. its just, magic. Hollywood wouldn´t have been able to write a better ending for their carreers.
Tears in my eyes. Foppa, Sundin and Lidström in that team. Its like one of the top 3s of all time in Swedens history. Strong and nice people but on the ice. Killer perfection. Sundin as leader is remarkable. Lidström as that nice guy and Forsberg the strong ultimate player i think. You got more of them of course in NHL but from Sweden.
Also his puck protection was among the best, and his overall skill level at that size was something only Lemieux and Lindros had (obviously they were better of course). I know 1349 points in 1346 games is an amazing career, but it always shocked me that he didn't score more in a season at his best. He seemed like he should've been a 100 point player in Toronto atleast a few times.
@@funtimes8296 seriously Lindros better than Sundin :) ? reason Sundin didnt score more was because he basicly played in a shity team for a long long time.
@@funtimes8296 Sundin never played with a legend of doom thats for sure. Sundin was a leader and had a mentality that other players gained from...was most specialy seen in the national team, i never felt that way with lindros.

@@jimbombadill Players of Lindros caliber scored more with worse teams. I'm a Leafs fan but Lindros was easily a better player in his prime.
