I remember this episode, according to Rick Bacon that blazer with the V8 swap got over 20 mpg averaging 80 mph, I miss this era of PowerNation/PowerBlock.
It's not hard at all..I rebuilt my 4l60e in my garage .if u follow directions well you will do fine.always remember WHAT ONE MAN CAN DO ANOTHER CAN DO!!
What a hack job. Cutting the oil pan should be one of the last resorts in a build. Should have gone with the 2 inch body lift and saved a ton of time and stress. They did a good job with the trans but would have made more sense to go with a 4l80.
It’s a whole lot easier to put an ls where a small block Chevy was, and even then you run into issues. Putting one where a smaller engine was and in a relatively modern small engine bay is a challenge.
No one beat ...toyota deisel.volvo deisel and isuzu ..snd last not least cummins diesel engine. ...fiat engibr also survive other brand ....yakkkkkkkkk
I remember Scott from way back in the day..lol he is one of the pioneers of ls swapped s10's.
Mr. Andy knows what he's doing when it comes to transmissions.
Yea😆"TO ME IS A HYDRAULIC SYSTEM "THAT'S WHAT IS 😄 SR
I'm here for ALL of this. I have the same truck doing the same swap
Also that trans guys comment on bring it to him is 100% correct.
An LS1 in a Tracker would be interesting to drive.

They have had oil pans for 4wd blazers years ago
I need to buy me one. And the motor mounts.
4 inch lift and never had to modify the oil pan and lose capacity. But still cool
Who made the lift?
The Rallies are AWESOME
Can we please get the full episode where they put an LS in the 80s Monte Carlo.
i would daily that LS-swapped Blazer. the rallyes are staying.
Ol Rick bacon looks like he's baked

I'm Canadian. I've heard of Ottawa, where is that again, near Squamish?
When are v6 powerplants getting showcased with high performance goodies?
Why not use a different oil pan ? H2 ?
Don't think the h2 pan will work, but they do make a pan for the 4wd LS swap
02:11 the center cap and trip ring are crooked.

A body lift would not have cleared the diff bud . A suspension lift lowers the diff
❤️👍
"a whopping 140 horsepower" sure.. but didnt the 4.3 only make 200 horsepower at one point?
when it was new, it may have lost a few
My 2000 was 190. But that was 300k ago.
