      @@Acey968 Canucks were given a 4-minute powerplay in period 1 and all they got is 1 shot. Oilers have always been the team being punished the most by refs. Don't cry without reasons.

      Canucks in 7. Oilers can’t hold on to leads, they let the Canucks come back from a three goal deficit and a two goal deficit both in third period. You can’t keep doing that and win a series. Oilers are a bad team and with all that talent you would think they could control the play up by two or more goals.

    Game 1 for Oilers was soul crushing
    Game 4 for Canucks was soul crushing
    Every game decided by a one goal difference
    This series definitely delivered so far. Screw all those people who thought it was gonna be a 4 game sweep for either side. Both teams are more than capable of trading blows with each other.

      Canucks fan here. The oilers did not crush our souls in game 4. Canucks showed how persistent they are by making another comeback. Remember Nashville beat us in the final minute of game 5, and the Canucks came back and won game 6. Canucks will win in 6.

      I believe oilers in 6, but honestly this series has been fantastically stressful

    Silovs kept them in it all game only to be screened by two of his own teammates in the last minute instead of one of them going down to block the shot. They owe Silovs an apology for that one

      His two teammates are hero's to the people of Vancouver. We cannot have the Vancouver Canucks advance to the next round. Its an embarrassment to the city as other NHL cities get heavy metal music and Vancouver gets sucky preppy music. The Canucks franchise is doing nothing but making Vacouverites look like sucky wimps. THEREFORE THE CANUCKS MUST LOSE.

    As a canucks fan, idk why y’all blaming silvos, he kept us in the game. If anything it’s hroneks fault cause he stood there waiting for Kane to hit him rather than doing something with the puck. Tough loss, we gotta be ready to play for game 5.

      Without Silvos, they'd literally be down in this series right now, their offense won game 1 but Silovs has won the rest. Oilers have been coming at him with everything they've got. The Vancouver Defense has literally NO ANSWER for their offense. Silovs has stood on his freaking head. Did the Canucks fans not watch the last three games?? lmao I swear people would cry over free money.

      @@tej5626 As an Oilers fan I'd take Hughs and Boeser anytime and shed a few other players, they have some promising talent on their team. Boeser has been getting some clutch goals and Hughs while small is a smart and fast D man. I've called Oilers in 6 for this series but it can honestly go any way, at this point it could very well go 7.

    This might very well be the best series of the playoffs. Playoff hockey atmospheres in Canada are unparalleled. As a neutral fan (I’m a Jets fan, I know, my team sucked this year in the playoffs), I’m really hoping this series goes 7 games for entertainment purposes.

    Pickard has proven he is worth the trust the team has given to him. 2 goals were inevitable, with the first one being screened completely by a Canuck, and the second one just a pure unfortunate one.

      Wrong.. He cost the Canucks the first Oilers goal. He had three opportunities to clear the zone and failed twice only to barley get it out the third time which lead to the Miller penalty.

    That ending was heartbreaking as a Canucks fan. I guess the Oilers had enough with the Canucks’ comebacks in the past.
    Also, the Canucks have got to start improving on their power plays, make setups, take their time, etc. That 4-Minute Power Play just wasn’t used productively.

      Agreed, I'd roll with the hot hand (Pickard). Edmonton is an offensively dominant team. They don't need a goalie to stand on their head, they just need solid and consistent. They are usually good for scoring 3-5 goals most every night and win games with 2 or 3 goals allowed

    With each passing game, I think it is showing that the Canucks aren’t built for the playoffs and are probably very lucky to have gotten out of the first round. EP40 has all but disappeared, Mikheyev needs to be scratched, and when I have watched other series they all just seem to play visibly faster.
    The Canucks have talent, but somehow look like they’re playing in slow motion.

    Unlike skinner pickard actually challenges the shooter/shot and doesnt go down way to soon. Many saves he made standing where as if it was skinner he goes down and puck goes in up high. And he scrambles way better. I would be curious what this serious is had they started pickard since game 1.

      Yes I agree (as oiler fan) but I think they get too emotional and physical. Wanting to hit instead of playing hockey costed them a goal in that game so if they calmed down they would be unstoppable I think.
