Thanks Ben, I too enjoyed your video. I wished I could have been there this week but life threw us a curve ball. Man that dirt is a real challenge, looks like heavy duty air filtering is a must.
Such a cool place to drive. It's a shame about the engine, but I think oiling the filter could help with the ultrafine particles or the good old-fashioned sock over it!
@@BenTerwilliger I’m closing in on build #1, you and so many are the inspiration, thank you, well done! I’m so hopeful to be beside you in 25 at some event.
@@mijithebub It's not exactly always "racing", it's usually just trying to drive as long as possible before something breaks! Cyclekarts are cheaply made so often times they're a chore to keep running. Do some Google work on "Cyclekarts", be sure to read the original Stevenson page
I've been thinking about an upright kart for me and my gal, and I just saw a bunch of ideas! Never knew this existed.
Great pov video 👍👍👍🚗

@@ronulbrich I think Neil had the best setup on his Lean In Special last year. What I had definitely did not work!
Great video Ben!
@@oneskydog6768 Thank you Charlie for all the help getting it back out on the track!
the amount of dirt and dust on the camera at 10:30 tells the tale of this event....lots of dust!

Good stuff! It seemed your front wheels were “hunting” a little? Maybe it’s just the camera/angle/sun?
@@timsimpson4579 That's an added feature just to make it special

How do I get into this? I've been a fan of these carts for a while and feel like it would be a blast to get into this type of racing.

Y'all need to develop a different kind of airbox
