That little Nikko caddisfly Nick got the PB on is my go-to bait for small creeks and when the crappie are finicky. The small one in the video and the larger one are my "survival" baits....if I can't catch a fish on one of them, then the fish just aren't biting. I've also gotten a good number of decent sized fish on that little bait. I highly recommend them.
Fishing's been terrible out in oklahoma the past week with all the rain, cold, and the fish have just hatched so the water's full of food. Can't wait for summer so the fishing'll pick up.
I love Nikko Kasei soft plastics, the Japanese certainly know how to create quality soft plastics. My own personal favourite are the 1.8 inch Nikko Kasei pin worms in brown, they are a magnet for European Perch
The ones with black spots are " black crappies " all others are just " white crappies". If it's a big crappie its a " barn door crappie ". Keep up the great videos!!
Is it me or do you catch a new pb in every video😂
I wad gonna say that
He catches PB's when using Nikko baits! Just joking......sort of.....I do very, very well on them. Can't recommend them enough.
the jigs are tiny but mighty
Theres a potential for a PB every cast🤙🎣. Depends on your luck I guess😉
him: "i may have to change up locations"
Fish at 1:28 shows himself behind him as he says that XD
Molly H lmao those carp were mocking me the entire time I was there.. check em out at the end of the video lol they were going crazy
I have never seen a crappie that big, until now. Congrats on a new PB.
Kevin Lilly that’s an average size crappie down here in Oklahoma. Caught 12 that size last weekend.
@@evan910 Nice. That's not the case here in MD. I only caught 2 last year, the larger one was about 7".
You know it’s gonna be a PB when that music drops as he’s reeling it in!
The dark Crappie are getting ready to spawn, they got there War Paint on.

Nice job Chris in breaking your PB. Nice slabs.
That looked like the blue ice colored Bobby Garland baby shad. Great baits for panfish. Congrats on your new PB. 👊👍
I keep orange nail polish in my tackle box. A bit of orange on the belly of a lure seems to help when the fish are not biting, at least here in Texas.
Yay you got the snagged lure back!
Another nice one Nick.
Good way to start the day! Always a good watch brother.... til next time 🤙
Thanks for watching man!
You have to add a new catch phrase.....when you recover an old lure you need to say, "Hello Buddy" lol
Nice Pb, but there is 2 kind of crappie and the white crappy gets bigger than the black, tight lines!
Congratulations on your new pb. I salute you SIR.
Awesome crappies Dude!!
Good fishing video... i hope you always success
Congrats on the pb...crappies are awesome
Congratulations on PB good stuff . Ty , Mark
Always look forward to your videos!
Nikko baits always come in clutch.
I love that you really appreciate catching crappie like me its my favorite fish to catch besides small mouth!
Idk why but I started liking you a lot more after I saw you without your sunglasses on in one video. Keep up the great content!
Damn, what a crappie!!

Hey do you think the tiny crank baits would work on croppy as well to?
With the jig and the float do you just reel in slowly? I normally just use the jig and soft plastic without a float so this is new viewing. Cheers :)
You've been catching tons of PB s lately, good for you man
You should try to fish with Wax Worms, I went fishing yesterday and pulled easily a dozen bluegill from by a dam. Might work well for you.
I used Gulp waxies on a tungsten ice fishing jig and pulled a mittfull of bluegills yesterday too.
618 for life
Congrats on the new PB, nice work !
I fall in love with ultralight setup 😍
How do you find all these cool places to fish? There's almost no public lakefront near me to fish from.
I love these mini lures! Awesome video man 😎
"See u later buddy". Should make a shirt with that.

Toll, doch geht es auch without sunglasses?
Love your intro's bro! Your a epic fisherman
Your cam work is excellent
I have had good luck with all of the Nikko baits.
What a slab crappie!! Congrats on your PB!!
Man. In Cali we get up to 2 lb crappie lol. But awesome that you caught your Pb! 👍🏼
I love your vids and all that you
I absolutely love your videos. Keep doing what you do.
Congratulations on the new pb!
Nice Crappies!
Water in rain boots definitely a fisherman.
Where is the lure you were using when the video started from?
So who made the little crankbait?
What strike indicators do you use?
Love your show
You such a great fisherman
Another PB!?!?!!!? Tight Lines!!!
Que carrete y de caña usas. Que peso tienen tus señuelos. Saludos desde acapulco mexico.
Finally you got your pb crappy...
Lol from india
You need to come fish the ponds down here in texas, you catch crappie that soze damn near every cast...go watch TyPigPatrol for reference!
That lil crankbait will work later on this spring 👍👍👍
Awesome vid.
I caught a 17" crappie out of a old strip pond . Caught it on a catalpa worm.. I don't know how much it weighed though.
did u ever get that last lure back being the goose was gone
Watch the whole video, he gets it.
Sure did! Check out the last 20 seconds of this vid 😉
Was the mother goose gone?
how do you work the insect soft plastic?
Do you travel out of state to fish?
gotta give a like before watching
Did you try getting your bait back down by the duck
He got it at the end of the video!
1 pound 8 ounces or 1.8 pounds? Around 29 ounces
I was wondering the same. Because 1.8 pounds is a new pb, but 1 pound 8 ounces i think is not.
1 pound 8 ounces. My previous pb was a little over 1 pound 5 ounces
Ah nice. And you got another 1 pound 4 ounce on a row.
He clearly says 1 pound 8 ounces
supitsdosh scale seems to say 1.8, and afterward he said 1.25... so yeah I had to ask.
I got one question how big is your lure collection my only 3.5 tackle boxes and they aren't small ones either. You need to show it off some time.
Might be a dumn question but what type of float are you using?
Nice video man
Thank you!
u need to get length measurements on those crappies! You pull some nice ones out of there
This series should be called catching new PBS every time I fish
Create a merchandise line with the tagline, "see you later buddy".
Then send me a cap:) Awesome video!.
Good job
Great job
You need to return to that spot with a kayak or a float tube!
But your reactions when you catch a fish, are awesome!
Love ur vids man keep up that work
Thanks for the like @618 fishing
😁😊🤙💪💪🙏😎Amazing brotha
could u come fishing in the uk
4:01 your welcome
Where can I get that hat I love it
Is that reel a pfluger president?
Where is the link to the polish guys krank baits ??
What happened to the raft that you had 8 months ago
I absolutely love your vids!! I always immediately click on ur vid! #notigang
Thank you again fun
Great video
Micro curly tail grub video?
I guess the goose left so it was safe to fish the point there haha
you were at that new location before you caught that crappie for 25min and then you said you caught it your first cast?
Where's the ole goose and I think the lure is called a helgimight or something like that north Dakota angler uses them for smallies
Hellgrammites! Matt the NDYakAngler rules! Best kayak/smallie videos on youtube.
I know if I ever move I'll move there lol there so thick out there..
Rick Stuckey Goose left the nest! They call this lure a “caddisfly larvae”
Hassenfeffercites
Right behind you at 1:34 theres what looks like a monster mouth at the surface
Nice vid but I wish you could show us your whole setup.
I see an anchor ball out there. Most likely someone has marked that crappie spot.
I like how he says he's probably gonna need to change locations as a fish eats right behind.
The ones with black spots are
" black crappies " all others are just
" white crappies". If it's a big crappie its a " barn door crappie ". Keep up the great videos!!
Did you get your lure back from the man eating goose?
Check out the end of the video bud!
Yeah!
What about the fish rising behind you!!
See u later buddy ,,, i love it 😊
1:31, dude cast behind you. Fish are rising!
That lake is full of crappie. It seems everytime you go there you catch a mess of them.
