Looks easy. And here I am trying to do this with a 5/4/3 and almost dying of a heat stroke cuz it takes ages for me😂

Thanks guys. I just got a winter wetsuit with a front zip, no instructions and I wouldn’t have been close to guessing this method.

as an old guy who just put on a chest zip for the first time, after watching this video, it’s way harder than it looks in this video! Be warned!

God damn, after using both a back zip and chest, I don't understand why people get chest suits. Just absolutely a PITA of the utmost order to get in and out of.

Personally, because I get well sick of the zip cord and more prone to flushing.

Slick, small nylon bags work well as do Wet-Stuff socks.

I cant get in or out of a chest zip without a rashguard. When your at the max weight for the correct sizing that doesnt help. Also when new the neoprene is stiffer

Just bought a new wet suit 5/4 your video looks as if it was a summer suit l have been doing water sports for more than 45 years and have never had a problem with wet suits until now all the suits l last tried were very tight around the neck something l did not have a problem when l wore a dry suit 35 years ago my suit is not only hard to put on but after winging very hard to get off if that is progress then its time the manufacturer's started to think again

Likewise. All suits seem to be made for a slim teenager these days. Necks are always too tight. I guess the manufacturers have forgotten that old guys rule ;)

and this is superior to a rear zipper how?

The theory is a zip has no stretch and impedes movement - so the smaller the better, then if you can put it in an place that doesn't require as much movement then you are really improving the experience. Also a big zip can be prone to flush with water, especially after duck-dives. A smaller zip has far less space for water to get in and in its position allows for a better fit.
