  • Is the ROLLO thermal printer the best eBay shipping label printer? I bought one and have been using it for Amazon FBA and eBay for a few weeks. I'll go over the pros and cons of the ROLLO printer and give my honest review and recommendation based on my personal experience with it.
    ROLLO Thermal Printer - amzn.to/2nhDBnv
    ROLLO Fan Fold 4x6 Labels - amzn.to/2LKTRqs
    ROLLO FBA Label Holder - amzn.to/32W6Uv8
    ROLLO FBA Labels (best value) - amzn.to/2odXQ5W
    What tools do I need to sell on Amazon FBA and eBay? Here is what I use for my reselling business below.
    amzn.to/2LalfeI
    I'm Wick and I am a reseller for a living. I find things at garage sales, thrift stores, and even clearance at retail stores to sell. I do online arbitrage, retail arbitrage, and buy locally. While the majority of my business is done through Amazon FBA, I also sell on eBay or anywhere else I can flip the junk that I find.
    I also trade stocks and futures, do affiliate marketing, and Merch by Amazon to make money online. My goal is to live a free life away from the typical 9-5 job. Subscribe and join me on my adventures to see what I can find to make some dollars.

    FAQ:
    Q: What Apps do you use to sell online (eBay and Amazon)?
    A: I search the eBay sold and completed listings to get an idea of what products are selling for. I use the Amazon Seller App to scan for FBA. Seller app -- amzn.to/2HM1qbM
    Q: Can you make a living selling online?
    A: Yes, the difficulty is based on how much effort you put in and how much you need to make each month. I do this full time.
    Q: Where do you find your clearance products to resell?
    A: Literally everywhere. Check end caps and look for clearance aisles, but mostly it will be mixed in. Ask a manager if there's any good clearance deals and build a relationship if possible.
    Q: Do you make a full-time living selling online?
    A: I do. All my bills are covered, I'm able to save a good amount, and put money back into the business. I also do other things to make money, but reselling is the meat. It takes a lot of work and dedication to make a full-time living reselling.

    5:56 pro tip: Just take a small cardboard box that the roll of labels fits in, take a pen or so, stick it through the cardboard, through the hole in the label roll and then through the cardboard again, there you have a label roll holder. If the cardboard box moves around when you print, take some dubblesided tape under the box, or some bluetack or so to hold it down!

      That’s brilliant! Actually I put mine into an almost empty Memo Pad Holder. For the small amount I’m printing currently it holds well. Not sure yet how it is if you print like 100s at a time. 😄
      (Altho not working with A6 Sticker Size)

      @@itsJeaaan1 that works aswell. Just wanted to say that it's no need to spend 20+$ for a "roll holder", be creative and make your own :)

    The Rollo printer is great. I networked it so I can print to it from any PC in my house. Be sure to purchase good quality labels. I made the mistake of finding the cheapest paper. Failed!

    Fantastic review, this was from Oct 2019, I am wondering if you have done an update since then. *pauses to go look* I did not find one, but I am hoping you can make an update. I see there are a lot of people interested in this thermal printer including myself and would love to know what your thoughts are now about this printer. Tfs - Emily

    Have a Rollo - like it a lot! One tip - don’t print a Rollo thermal printer and then tape over it. The ink will disappear! Not smudge, but actually disappear over an hour or two.....weird....

    Cool review. Rollo is a great thermal printer option but I just recently bought the FreeX thermal printer and I must say that it is bit faster than the Rollo and uses wireless. Definitely has been great for my small business.

    My adventures w/ a Dymo printer was the stuff of nightmares.

    • @redwolfexr
      @redwolfexr 4 года назад

      My dymo works pretty well, really if I had both I would use the Dymo for FBA ASIN labels and the ROLLO for address labels.
      The hard part is setting up the dymo, after that its pretty painless. Although I do use a fee-based service similar to the "rollo" chrome extension. That right there would make me switch if it wasn't so hard to switch label sizes. With the Dymo I just have to switch it in the printer dialog.

    QQs for you...
    1. What you can't do w/ laser print that you can do w/ Rollo? Why Rollo?
    2. Does it print item labels too?
    3. Do we need to change Rolls between Shipping & Item labels?

    • @FlippingJunk
      @FlippingJunk  4 года назад +1

      You can print FBA item labels with Rollo. You will need to change label sizes each time. I use the stand and it can hold 4 x 6 labels and a roll of item labels, but you still have to set each label size when you print different sizes. I don't fully understand your first question, I still have a laser printer for invoices and packing slips (if needed). Rollo is a thermal printer and doesn't require ink or toner. It doesn't smear, ensuring your labels won't get messed up and packages or items lost.

    Im just starting FBA, and have only been doing eBay a month. I use USPS to print my eBay shipping labels. So I want a printer, and obviously need one for FBA. Is this recommended for a beginner or for a more experienced seller? If this isnt for me, what would you suggest?

    • @FlippingJunk
      @FlippingJunk  4 года назад

      This is fine for a beginner seller or experienced. If you are not printing a lot of shipping labels, a laser printer works fine, but if you plan on growing you might as well go with a thermal printer, like the rollo.
