I really appreciate that! There are many great channels but it's in their best interest to not show you the important topics or share the real data. That way you keep watching more videos which build them more ad revenue for the channel. Get it? Of course, I want a bigger channel too, but I think it's in bad form to hold information for the sake of getting more view time.
You’re a man after my own heart Walid! I ran a 2000 sq foot studio in the Entertainment District of Toronto in the 1990s. Wish your wisdom was available to me back then. People should be praising the ground you tread upon and the road you drive upon and the cyc you shoot upon giving away all this business wisdom for free. Thanks!
As always Walid, your video's are so helpful !!! A couple of things to add (if you don't mind), don't put sand in sand bags... they will leak, instead use small gravel from the DIY stores (5mm or 10mm pea shingle in the UK) Wind machines are heavy so you can use a battery operated hand held leaf blower, more powerful than a hairdryer and not expensive (MakitaDUB186Z) is a good example. No power cords to trip over.
Great tips! And you're so right about the sand bags. The leak is the worst because you end up not fixing it and living with a trail of sand for a few weeks. Thank you for adding to the conversation.
Thank you Waldi. I recently did my LLC and I am looking forward to get business credit to make opening a studio possible in my area of Paterson, NJ. Thank you for the content!
You can do it! And NJ is close enough to NY that you'll get overflow from them (and from people who hate going into the city). You're in a really good spot to do it.
Yes we can. Only black coffee, and that's it. I would drink 4 per day, and it started to have zero effect on me. Then I start drinking it under my tongue first (like an addict) and I thought "this is outta control" and I stopped it for 4 months. Now I"m only allowed one coffee per week. Are you a heavy drinker Kyle?
@@WalidAzamiTV I have a home studio that I use for my own photography. I've been a makeup artist for 30 years and within the past five years I've been shooting to keep my Instagram fresh. Having a studio in my home has been awesome. I'm thinking that I may want to own and run a studio so that I can stop traveling to do makeup. I love the photography biz but don't necessarily see myself making a career being a photographer. Maybe do some stuff when I feel like it and it it's up my alley. I know you mentioned that running a studio took up too much of your time and you couldn't shoot as much as you'd like to. I think I'd like to be a studio manager. I've worked in MANY studios and think I could use that experience to create a space that's well thought out and professional. I'm gathering information at the moment and your video couldn't have come at a better time. I really appreciate you taking the time to create your RUclips content. I know it's a lot of work but just know you're helping so many people navigate this industry which can be challenging. Thanks for making it easier! You ROCK!!
Jude don't go crazy on it. There are a lot of lower priced monitors that are good. Personally I use a Philips curved monitor and its largely great, just terrible speakers. However, I don't know enough about monitors to confidently tell you where to spend your hard earned money.

Very kind, thank you!
Thank you for sharing us your experience!
Thank YOU for watching.
I hadn’t seen your videos in a while glad you popped up again! Always enjoy your videos!
Raul, thanks so much man! I am taking a small break from social media but hard to stay away from making y'all videos. I'm really glad this is helpful.
Great vid! The only thing I can think to add to this is a big industrial fan for blowing hair and cloth. Definitely a rental item, $20
Great point!
Such great info & advice, as usual, Walid. Thanks!
Thank you Karen!
so so so helpful! thank you so much
You're so welcome! Thank you for letting me know. I have a whole photo studio playlist that may provide you additional assistance.
영상 도움 많이 되었습니다. 감사합니다!!! :-)
I'm so glad, thank you!
Great advice. Giving it while you are driving a vehicle...not so great.
True story. My sister got mad at me also. I'll try to be safer next round. Thank you.

My pleasure! and thank you for the Super thanks. That was really kind.

Thanks for Watching! You have a studio?
This was really helpful and insightful. Thank you.
Glad it was helpful! Thank you Nompendulo
Didn’t think I could like you more, but then I saw your coffee order. We can definitely be friends! 🤣🤣 Great video!!

*coffee drinker haha
Gary from glasgow here, and I'm gonna do you a bad boy painting, just coz your cool!😉
Sounds good
Unless I missed it I noticed that you didn't mention anything about lights or a strobe flash.
You can have those, I'd get a real cheap set but expect it to fall apart cause people are people. A simple Alien Bee or Godox set will work.
Really great advice! Thanks for sharing this! :-)

awesome advice!
Thank you! And with the upcoming (supposedly) recession then people can secure better leases for their studios.
Thanks a lot!

Hi Walid, I’m looking to upgrade my computer monitor for editing purposes. Which monitor do you use and/or recommend?

New subscriber. Thanks for the info! 💪🏾💯‼️
I'm happy you're here! And thanks for the feedback. Photo studios can be profitable if done correctly.
Thank you.
Thank you for watching and thank you for investing time into your future.
I don't get how you charge for these things? you mean hiring g them out?
Would you mind expanding on your question?
