One of the most underrated games ever. I really loved the dark atmosfere in watch dogs and the fact that the Aiden desperatelly seeking for justice and fight a corrupt governor and an organised criminal gang. New WDs does not brings this back!
thats how much themes in video games can impact the feel. watch dogs 1 went for a more dark theme, darker colors, depressing story, etc. watch dogs 2 went for a more bright theme, vibrant colors, uplifting story, etc. watch dogs 1s story was about a guy who lost everything, somehow losing even more trying to get redemption. watch dogs 2s story was about a group of hackers bringing down corrupt systems and fix the unjust bits in the world.
The gameplay was better in Watch dogs 2. And so was the hacking. But the characters, the story, and the music, and mini games were all better in this game. Wd1 in underrated. But as of right now, once Watch Dogs Legion gets fully updated, I think Legion will be the best watch dogs game so far. But Wd1 and WD2 are both equally good IMO. I don’t favorite one over the other.
Whenever I get to the part of finishing Lucky Quinn with the pacemaker, I always hope to get to that special part 3:19 When music freezes, I can hear the pacemaker shutting down, Lucky's heart losing strength, pounding ever weaker, and the music playing again as I watch an old man die. Without a doubt the most epic part of the entire game.
Watch dogs Infamous Gta Assassins creed cod blacks ops 2 and modern warfare 2 battlefield 3 and bad company 2 there is even more that have the greatest storylines not to even mention sleeping dogs I loved that game
This music plays in Watch Dogs: Legion - Bloodlines which is cool. A few others from the first game play in that DLC as well for various loading screens + cutscenes + ambient/combat music while playing as Aiden.
I love this track. Watch Dogs' OST is amazing, totally nails the atmosphere the game was going for. My only regret is instantly getting into a police chase and escaping instead of enjoying this masterpiece in game :(
Dont forget how Aiden kills Abstergo's CEO Oliver Garneau and him doing the deed is there as an easter egg in AC Origins. Wouldve been hella cool if the 2 games were to share the same universe, but we dont live in a perfect world
Ubisoft should stop with they money grinding and bring back the serious Watch Dogs we know and love. I liked WD2, quite a bit, actually, but I also recognized that both games, 1&2, are more of the same. And in WD2, the Pearce Easter Egg was cool and all, but goddamn... Is it too much to ask for him to do *one* mission together with Marcus?
I think sharing a storyline between Aiden and Wrench was a better idea. You still link the two games while utilising a more interesting character than Marcus. I guess it sucks that the best character in WD 2 was an edgy libtard white boi but whatever can you do.
Legion won't have anything in comparison to this game. It's a downright shame how legion turned out. Instead of Ubisoft evolving the formula, they ended up possibly Killing any possible future games with their greed. I assure you, once Darcy releases Legion will die along with the franchise because Ubisoft can't make money off of it anymore.
