I feel that watch dogs had a darker story than watch dogs 2 did where watch dogs 2 is goofy and has kids just doing teenager stuff. That’s why aiden was so good for this dark version of Chicago.

@@DK-sz8lz Who knows what could happen? The perma death feature makes me think it'll mix between the two themes with dark and happy and fun. I would like a mix rather than WD2 where there was one or two moments where you were down and the rest was fun times for everyone

I meant that in the older days Ubisoft was a bit of a good company and they made sensible games with sensible stories now they just make hipster funky fortnite generation kinda games with no much good story and a ton of fking DRMs . For example , you can see the difference in the story and theme between the first Watch dogs and and its sequels ....
(Edit: Watch Dogs 2 was also an old title (2016) and its gameplay was dope 🔥. I wanted to say Watch Dogs 1 felt more like a cinematic masterpiece 💪)
Not all of the new ubisoft titles are bad , like Assassin's Creed Origins is kinda good but there has been a huge downfall in the reputation and the content of the company after the release of this title (for example , they turned the newer titles of the Assassin's creed series into an RPG !!! , just to mine more money )

Look at WD2 it was actually fun and an improvement from 1, sure it wasn’t perfect but they pulled a Titanfall 2. Then we go to Legion, Ubisoft when they want can make great games but 90% of the times they don’t put time and effort into them and lie for a quick buck. 1 step forward and 5 steps backwards.

Throughout the soundtrack, there’s a steady background noise of the train moving along the rails, and the occasional rev of a car’s engine. At least I heard it.

Nowadays the only people who play the game are the ones who discovered the game after it was out.

The Black Viceroys Enforcer Cry does actually make you feel (almost) sorry for killing them, the sound is so painful to hear.
All the enforcers cry like they're mentally ill. Makes you wonder.

i like fighting more than one guy at once, so when a mugger has a reinforcements symbol, I just chase him until the call goes out. once the "we need help, V!" is out of his mouth, I blow his brains out.

Best soundtrack in the game
The reason I think WD1 is best is cause I actually feel intense emotion when listening to the ambience music, witnessing the story, and listening to the music on the radio even.
Yeah the game play was alright but WD1 made me FEEL something intense. Even when I listen to this I am taken back there, saving Jacks and hoping he wasn't hurt because I deeply felt for Aiden in a way that WD2 and WDL has not and most likely cannot achieve.
Its sad, I really wish they would just rip up the last two games and continue with a darker more meaningful plot again.
I miss games that made me feel.
Just got the game on my ps4 because I didn't get to play it much when it came out, (I'm on act 3) this game is a gem I like the music and the way the game develops adien and the way the game develops the emotions behind adiens family, it's a really good game I hope to finish it soon.
Play Enderal. I promise you even more emotions

Aiden was just so fucking cool, the way he walked, the way he acted, it was cool af but not so exaggerated to the point it seemed like he couldn’t be a real person
I mean sure the hacking is unrealistic but MOST other things about him seemed like with enough effort someone could get it sorted irl.

No prob! It was a lot of fun doing this project ^^ despite how time consuming it was hehe. Definitely well worth it in the end.
This game brings back pure nostalgia, I don’t know why I connected so much to this story, it’s almost every time I finish it I go into post-game depression and replay it the following year with excitement, this game is an underrated masterpiece, and the music elevates it, Aiden deserved a sequel in a different city, possibly with jacks being at his side.
Man I know what you mean, in my opinion their won’t be another Game like this ever again.

This game would've been so much better had they allowed you to replay story missions. The Rossi-Fremont assault was my favorite mission. Blast this while slow mo shooting grenades mid-air and tell me this see if this game still isn't fun.
Used to play it like I was beating a dead horse. Definitely agree with the story mission thing, I even made an entirely new game JUST so I could play the story again, missions were so damn fun.
Best Watch Dogs track, it fits so well with the game's atmosphere, also that mission is one of my fav.

Oh man, i still come back to this to remember a very creative game that was poorly executed, but still incredible somehow.
It has dark and melancholic vibe, colourful characters and a morally gray flawed protagonist.
A remaster of this game would be awesome, with its depressed setting it would be perfect!

Aiden´s story just got started and the more you hear about him in WD2 and Bad Blood, the badlyer I want another game with him... This was the hardest mission in WD1, my heart was pounding so hard, i had to do it 20 times before i succeeded.

I think it depends on the platform you are playing on, no offense, but the aim on console games for me is trash, I'm not saying that the console players are bad, (I'am a console player myself and I'm not that bad), when you try to aim on console I think it's just to slow or its just to strange while the mouse is a bit more free and you can move a lot faster, believe me when I say that focus was op because it was, I could win a battle with just a pistol because I can just focus, aim at the head and shoot, then when I finished focus by using it, I could just kill the enemies normally, it's a bit harder but not that much.
It was a pretty easy mission for me but I honestly took my time cause I loved the music and the stealth in the game

The driving was great! Except you'd constantly smash into civilians, killing them because your car is too weighty
@@therainbowraccoon3620 I have gotten used to the driving, but at most times it feels so fucking clunky. I have lost missions multiple times over because of the driving.
@@Archangel444 my suggestion is to let go of the acceleration when going around corners, or if you predict something is going to hit into you or you into them. This means you can turn much easier, or react easier. Plus if you end up losing control, you'll swerve less far.

I wish Ubisoft actually made each game as if it was a passion project, and put a good amount of time to develop video games like Rockstar.
Watch_Dogs had the potential to be masterfully made game but Ubisoft rather make quick money and mess up their reputation even more.

Tbh I don’t think watch dogs deserve the amount of hate which it got, but Ubisoft did, making misleading trailers and putting high expectations which the game can’t reach was their fault.

i got the first 2 games for free, havent played the second one yet. I just finished the first one, had i not gotten it for free, i definitely wouldve payed money for it. I originally played the first few missions on ps3 and i absolutely loved it. They did such a good job with all the songs, especially the chase ones. They give you an actual sense of urgency and need to take down whatever the threat is.

I killed every single living fixer who did bad. I didn't show no mercy. Even for the guy I killed last at the garage at the end of the game when he was counting down 1, 2, 3, 4, 5.. *Single shot to the head*
I timed it perfectly on my first time playing it, he said "Just kill me already!" right when I was about to pull the trigger & I shot I'm in the head. Second Play through though I let him live & go back to his family.
Antagonization when i did mine i was going to make a speech but he kept talking so i went SHUT THE FUC- ops *happy music plays then i started dying
if you knew the backstory of that guy, maybe you wouldn't have shot the guy cuz he had to do that the cuz some what of the same reason Aiden was in it.

I hadn't played any of Ubisoft's older games until a friend of mine recommended the Watch Dogs game. When I hear this music, I follow the rhythm and kill the enemies.
I played this game bc i always wanted to play watch dog 1 but never had the time until it was on ps plus i gavw it a try it was good but omg act 2 to 5 were just perfect
You should really get into their older games like Splinter Cell or first Assassin’s Creeds. That stuff is just magnificent.

Splinter Cell (a game that started it all)
Splinter Cell: Chaos Theory (a top tier in the series with lots of memorable elements such as gameplay, humor and OST)
Splinter Cell:Double Agent (for its unique atmosphere)
Splinter Cell: Conviction (since it’s the most stylish part with the best scenario)
Splinter Cell: Blacklist (the last part that combines Conviction’s gameplay basis with lots of previous parts’ mechanics)
As for the Assassin’s Creed:
AC1 (the most unique game in the series)
AC2, AC:Brotherhood and AC:Revelations (since Ezio’s life story is definitely something you don’t wanna miss)
AC3 (it’s scenario is dope and the gameplay is FUN)
AC: Black Flag (like AC3 but about pirates, or a game that is worth playing more than Skull and Boner or whatever its called)
AC:Unity (for awesome freerun system, overall gameplay and a detailed and beautiful Paris)
Also I could recommend you to hoop in the Far Cry series which is totally my favourite of all their series. You can totally try every part in this series (except for New Dawn and probably 6). Everything else? A pure classic.
