Enjoy your videos.Not sure of the exact population but it will be closer to 20k. It was also the home of Luther “Wimpy” Lassiter who was one of the greatest pool players ever and is an icon in the billiards community. Downtown Eliz City has really been on an upturn and has a vibrant nightlife now. Unfortunately the crime rate has been skyrocketing with numerous shootings and a lot of gang activity for such a small town.
Thanks for giving us an update. I figured it had a great nightlife with all the restaurants and bars.

Not sure what is in it these days, but the tall building (tallest in downtown) was tr Virginia Dare Apartments.
I still love waterfront park from ny teen years but my favorite newer place in downtown is Toyama Japanese 🍙
