Dr. Joshua Bowen was kind enough to talk to me about Biblical locations, the Psalms, the Valley of Baca, the Desert of Paran, and more. He specifically answered my questions about Mecca, the Kaaba, and Abraham. Thereby, he greatly helped debunk Islamic narratives which try to connect the Kaaba to Abrahamic religion. I am very grateful and I will have him back soon.

Let me explain to you what is the history behind the Kaaba is according to scholars too.
Mohsin Fani wrote in The Dabistan (~1645 AD):
According to the learned, the Kaaba (the cubic temple at Makka) is an emblem of the sun, on which account it is right [for astral worshippers] to worship it; and the well Zem Zem signifies likewise ‘the great luminary,’ as Hakim Khakani said relative to both:
O Kaaba, thou traveler of the heaven!
O Zem Zem, thou fire of the world!
Hajer Ul Asvad, ‘the Black Stone at Makka,’ represents the body of Venus,
which on the border of the heavens is a star of the planets.
In the above quotation, Venus is said to be “on the border of the heavens” because Venus is only observable near the east and west horizons shortly after sunset and shortly before sunrise. The inner planets and the moon normally cannot be seen against the backdrop of the sun.
How did “the learned” come to possess this knowledge that the Kaaba represented the sun? The information was passed down from pre-Islamic times. Of course the knowledge could only be discretely passed along for fear of the Islamists who tried to stamp out any untoward teaching about Islam or Muhammad. Without such discretion, many memes of information could easily become just so many nails in an academic’s coffin.
The learned had plenty of facts at hand by which they could confirm the validity of traditions. For instance, Al Kalbi (died 821-822 AD/206 AH) wrote in The Book of the Idols that Allat had sacred “stones,” and that “Allat stood in Al Ta'if...She [Allat] was a cubic rock....”
There were other facts that showed the Kaaba was basically the betyl of a goddess. In pre-Islamic times, Allah the moon-god’s consort would have been Allat the sun-goddess. The Satanic Verses suggest that Allah’s “house” was in fact a betyl for his consort and daughters:
The Arabic word Kaaba is feminine. The cubic building actually represents Allat’s breast, as the etymology of the word Kaaba informs us: “Arabic ka‘ba, cube, cubic structure, from ka‘aba, to swell, be full (said of breasts).”
The Kiswa blanket over the Kaaba indicates that the Kaaba is the home of a goddess. Such coverings have a long history. The Bible records that female shrine prostitutes wove such “houses” (Hebrew: Beit) for the Venus goddess Ashtorah (YLT 2Ki 23:07).
The Kaaba was called the Bait Allah, or “the House of Allah,” but the Kaaba could just as well have been called Bait Allat after Allah’s consort. Francis Burton visited the Kaaba and reported on the presumed femininity of the Kaaba.
The part of the cover [Kiswa], covering the door, is called [a] Burka just like the veil [Burka] the Arabic women are wearing in front of their face...
      Robert Eisler wrote similarly:
In fact, Arab mystics even compare the Ka’aba to a virgin, adorned with her
finest wedding-dress. Comp. Lenormant p. 154, quoted a verse of Abd-er-Rahin el Buray ‘and the Ka’aba, the bride of Makka, is shining newly adorned with (wonder) signs’.... Then the clothing of the Ka’aba would be the remains of an old feast that represented the hierogamy [Greek: sacred marriage] of the deity.
The fact that Allat was an Arabian sun-goddess and that she was represented by cubic rocks helped confirm in the ancient’s mind that the cubic Kaaba did indeed represent the sun-goddess. By extension, these facts allowed the ancients to refer to the sun as the heavenly Kaaba that traveled the skies.
Also by extension, the ancients knew that the Black Stone was Venus since the Black Stone was set into a corner of the cubic Kaaba. The planet Venus was always observed to be near the sun.
The crescent-shaped Hatim Wall, the cubic Kaaba and the Black Stone were the moon, the sun and Venus. An ancient way of symbolizing the moon, the sun and Venus would be: (crescent-square-star), which looks a lot like the outline of an overhead view of the Hatim Wall, the Kaaba and the Venus Black Stone (see several photos of the Kaaba and Hatim Wall).
Malise Ruthven recounts another astral tradition about the Kaaba:
The earliest Muslim sources suggest that the pre-Islamic cult of the Kaaba had some astronomical significance. The historian Masudi (896-956 [AD]) [in Murudj, iv. 47] stated that certain people had regarded the Kaaba as a temple dedicated to the sun, moon and the five visible planets (making up the mystical figure of seven, the number of circumambulations required for each Tawaf). The story that there were exactly 360 idols placed round the temple also points to an astronomical significance [360 = 12 months of 30 days each]. Among the votive gifts said to have been offered to the idols were golden Suns and moons
      [Al Azraki, p. 155 sqq.]
The 360 idols around the Kaaba reminds one of how the ancient Babylonian myth Enuma Elish relates that Marduk, god of Jupiter, lined the skies with 300 gods who acted as guards. Incidentally, Allah’s ninety-nine names (Quran 7:180; 59:24)3518 reminds one of Marduk’s fifty names.3519
The historian Masudi (896-956 AD) provides information that tends to confirm the above-mentioned traditions. He wrote in the Golden Meadows:
The Haranian Sabians have temples according to the names of the intellectual substances and the stars...(the temple) of Saturn is hexagonal; of Jupiter, triangular; of Mars, long (rectangular); the sun square [like the cubic Kaaba]; that of Venus, a triangle in a quadrangle; that of Mercury, a triangle
inside an elongated quadrangle, and that of the moon, octagonal [like the Dome of the Rock].
One can infer from Masudi’s writing that the cube part of the Kaaba, not
including the crescent-shaped Hatim Wall, is a sun-god temple. The medieval scholars knew because they went on the Hajj and they read about Makka. Masudi’s information also shows that the Dome of the Rock is a moon-god temple as shown by its octagonal shape.
Ibn Ishaq wrote that there was a plaque at the Kaaba that said:
I am Allah the Lord of the Bakka [Makka]. I created it [the Kaaba] on the day [on Friday, according to Al Tabari (839-923 AD) that I created heaven and earth and formed the sun and moon and I surrounded it with seven pious
      angels.
Friday was the day of Venus in the astrological week. Note how Islamic tradition places the creation of all the astral bodies on Friday, the same that Muslims weekly attend Mosque for Friday Prayers.
      Ibn Ishaq also wrote:
By the Black Stone, when they stroke it,
When they go around it morning and evening.
So the pre-Islamic Makkans made sure to touch the Black Stone in the morning and evening. Venus, the Morning and Evening Star, is often visible during these times
In the ninth century, Nicetas also speaks of the ‘idol of Xoubar’...said to represent Aphrodite.
John of Damascus identifies Xabar or Xaber (he uses two forms) with both Aphrodite herself and with the Ka’aba, which according to him represents the head of the pagan goddess.
John of Damascus (~675-749 AD) said that even during his day the Black Stone
still had traces of the head “of the Semitic Venus (i.e. the Greek Aphrodite).”
John of Damascus knew Arabic but he was writing in Greek. His Greek transliteration of Kaaba was Kabar. John used the same term Xabar for the Black Stone affixed to the Kaaba.
The eighth-century Byzantine writer, Georges the Monk, said that Muslims worshipped “god...the moon and Aphrodite.”The moon might refer to the crescent-shaped Hatim wall, and Aphrodite is the Greek version of Venus and may refer to the Venus Black Stone.
Constantine Porphyrogenitus’ book, De Administrando Imperio (The Administration of the Empire) (950 AD), states about Muslims:
They pray also to the star of Aphrodite which they called Koubar, and in their supplication cry out ‘Allah Oua Koubar, that is, God and Aphrodite. For they call God ‘Alla; and Oua they use for the conjunction and they call the star Koubar. And so they say ‘Alla Oua Koubar.
Evidently, the author Constantine Porphyrogenitus confused the word Akbar in
the phrase, Allahu Akbar (Allah is great!), with the word for the Kaaba, or the word that John of Damascus used for the Kaaba: Xaber.
The author of this ruler’s training book wrote specifically for the Byzantine emperor. So one can see that the emperors believed the Kaaba was at least a Venus goddess shrine, if not a shrine for Allah the moon-god.

The question becomes: If Mecca and the Kaaba were so important to Abraham, why would it be edited from the Bible? What would be the point? Israel has lost many things important to them and they don't excise it from their Scriptures. They'd write a lament about it.
If Mecca was a center of Yahweh worship for Israel and it was later taken by pagans, the writers of the Hebrew Bible would simply write that as God's judgment for Israel's sin, and then pray for its restoration.
They wouldn't erase if from their history.

Hajer Ul Aswad , ‘the Black Stone at Makka,’ represents the body of Venus,
which on the border of the heavens is a star of the planets.

That doesn’t refute the historical facts I mentioned in my comment . Paul went to Arabia , do u know the reason ( I sure you don’t ) , I like your desperate attention to prove that Kaaba in the Jewish and Christian scriptures. As for the Jewish phylactery it’s a cultural thing that has to do with them and not Christianity and they are as reminders of God + of the obligation to keep the Law during daily life , I see nothing in common with the Kaaba or the black stone of Mecca .
Exodus 5:1 : Afterward Moses and Aaron went to Pharaoh and said, “This is what the Lord, the God of Israel, says: ‘Let my people go,so that they may hold a festival to me in the wilderness.’”
As for וְיָחֹ֥גּוּ ‘wə-yā-ḥōg-gū ‘ in Hebrew for ‘’that they may hold a feast’’ doesn’t prove anything about Kaaba because nothing is described about that feast ( obviously it would be a Jewish way of feast ) Also both Hebrew and Arabic are Semitic languages from the same linguistic family so many words are very similar . Where did you find that וְיָחֹ֥גּוּ means to move in a circle ( applies for exodus 12:14 too) ? Please give a reference for that or you are making things up

Pinning the foundation of the Kaaba to Abraham and the biblical prophets was just an attempt of the emerging Arab empire to justify itself and graft itself onto the older traditions. This has been done over and over again by different empires -e.g.the Roman empire grafting itself onto the myths and legends of the Greeks. But also in emerging and newly converted Christian cultures -the Ethiopians aka Abyssinians who were converted to Christianity in the fifth century approx. have all these stories about how their kings (the negus) descend from a liaison that king Solomon had with the queen of Sheba and they even claim they have the original Ark of the Covenant .They have a book called "The book of kings" that outlines these claims. The Rastafarian religion of the West Indies is partly based on this material.Another parallel might be the Glastonbury legends in medieval England. This town is now largely known for its huge pop music festival but it has been a sacred spot since the most remote pre-Christian times.Legends grew up that Jesus visited here as a boy being part of a trade mission organized by his uncle Joseph of Arimethea. The very famous English patriot song "Jerusalem" words by William Blake music by Hubert Parry outlines these legends -"and did these feet in ancient times etc. Just one of many many examples of cultures trying to graft themselves onto older traditions.

Mohammed wanted a Judaism for Arabs and Islam is what he cooked up. Why he even had Muslims initially pray towards Jerusalem until the Jews quite rightfully rejected his claim to prophethood and he got into a huff and changed the qibla to Mecca…

Out of topics but can we acknowledge the differences between other religions scholars vs muslim scholars in room discussion or talks ???!
Other religions scholars and apologists: talking in calm manners, relaying everything they had learned, relaying the information and facts according to real education and studies/research but keeping it lowkey even tho they've been studying all their lives, explaining things without blaming or attacking the other party or wishing their death.
Meanwhile, muslim religion scholars and apologists : talking in high voice, acting they are the smartest the holiest, blaming other party, not actually answering the question that they're given instead pointing out the flaw in other party (pointing out every flaws that they can think of the other religion), wishing death for the other party, attacking them, kicking out people from room discussion coz they can't answer the questions (from the other party) or coz they (the other party) pointed out facts about Islam that they don't agree, hiding every flaws in Islam even tho they know it themselves, hiding every facts known on their religion according to the studies/research, and last but not least making up facts as they talk.
    So ridiculous..wow..

Cambridge Bible for Schools and Colleges:
The word Baca is derived from the root which means to weep, but it nowhere means weeping, for which words of a different form are used. Here, as in 2 Samuel 5:23, it probably denotes some kind of balsam-tree, so called from the ‘tears’ of gum which it exudes. The vale of Baca or the balsam-trees was some vale which, like the vale of Elah or the terebinth (1 Samuel 17:2), and the vale of Shittim or acacias, took its name from the trees which grew there. Balsam-trees are said to love dry situations, growing plentifully for example *in the arid valley of Mecca; and this is clearly the point of the reference* .

These gods-which are sometimes regarded in the Hebrew Bible as fallen angels and arguably are the genesis of Paul’s “principalities and powers”-are condemned to death not simply because of their failure to rule with justice, but more importantly, for their rebellion against their Maker, Yahweh. Their unjust rule of the nations was simply one of many expressions of their rebellion, which was the principal reason for Yahweh’s discipline.
As God’s most gifted and beautiful supernatural being, Satan abused his authority and then led a rebellion with his fallen angels against God Yahweh. God punished him by limiting his authority on earth; he is still the “god of this world” (2 Cor. 4:4) but his authority is checked by God’s sovereign purposes, and his final destruction is decreed.
Deuteronomy 32:17: “They sacrificed unto devils, not to God; to gods whom they knew not, to new gods that came newly up, whom your fathers feared not.”
Daniel 11:7: “Neither shall he regard the God of his fathers, nor the desire of women, nor regard any god: for he shall magnify himself above all.“
Ancient pagan religions were animated by powers hostile to Yahweh, actively fighting Yahweh’s control of the cosmos. It was no surprise that history is full of conflict, because its driving animus is conflict between supernatural forces, which are visibly represented by both religious and political communities. In other words, wars between nations were really only the shadowy surface of the deeper and more fundamental combat between spiritual powers.

@@tobyc8668 I don’t believe in the Abrahamic faiths.
If we look at the evidence without a theistic lenses it paints the picture that the Abrahamic faiths have their origins in the Mesopotamian polytheistic epics, started by the Hebrews in Babylonian captivity circa 500/600BC, borrowing stories such as creation from the Enuma Elis, flood from the epic of Gilgamesh/Epic of Atrahasis etc…

There are dozens of flood stories, creation stories found throughout the ancient world, not only in Mesopotamia. (e.g in chinese mythology, Nüwa created humanity due to her loneliness, which grew more intense over time. She molded yellow earth or, in other versions, yellow clay into the shape of people.). Would you then say Arahamic faith also copied from chinese mythology similar to Assyriology?
Therefore in my opinion, your "so called evidences or claim of proofs" are in reality based on plausibility (on the basis of similarity) rather than empirical evidence. You can disagree with me but this is a christian's perspective.
Early in the Old Testament, we could see that the wicked was already trying to establish a one-world system. It started with Cush, who was the bloodline of Hamites, and he married a very beautiful woman named Semiramis. The Bible stated that Semiramis was the one who created a lot of false Goddesses who tried to deceive humans to worship them. This was before mesopotamia whose kingdom was form by Nimrod a child of Cush and Semiramis. The great harlot (religious Babylon) is described in revelation 17:1-2. As a religious system, Babylon came into being long before Christianity, but in Satanic imitation it anticipated the coming true Messiah. According to religious history and legend, the Babylonian religion was founded by the wife & also mother of Nimrod (a great-grandson of Noah), named Semiramis. She was a high priestess of idol worship, and she gave birth to a son who she claimed was conceived miraculously. The son, named Tammuz, was considered a savior. Many ancient artifacts remain with the familiar motif of the mother Semiramis holding the savior-infant Tammuz, which predate Christianity. It was also said that Tammuz was killed by a wild beast and then miraculously brought back to life. Baal was the local, Canaanite name for the Babylonian Tammuz. The Bible makes specific mention of some of the features of the classic religion of Bablyon:
      - Ezekiel protests against the ceremony of weeping for Tammuz (Ezekiel 8:14)
      - Jeremiah mentions the heathen practice of making cakes for the queen of heaven (Jeremiah 7:18) and offering incense to the queen of heaven (Jeremiah 44:17-19, 44:25)
Therefore for Christians, your "evidences & proofs" are something the Christians are already familiar with and reference in the bible.

It would pointless charade since Christians who read their bible would be already well aware of the existence and expected such parallel accounts from the (religious babylon). Satan as taught to us is known as the great counterfeiter & imitator (e.g. Unique Son, And Son Of Destruction, unholy trinity - himself, the beast, and the false prophet). This is a pattern of Satan that keeps repeating from history, this include his kingdom (Nimrod’s kingdom a.k.a Mesopotamia) after Genesis 6, and him repeating his kingdom at Genesis 6 before Adam’s kingdom.
Therefore, it would be pretty much an attempt of trying to establish a causal connection between two events based on dubious grounds. And then, somehow representing it as "facts". it would be basically repeating what was written in Genesis about the characteristic of the babel religion, as well as what’s happening in our modern-day civilization, where people are brainwashed and taught to allow our imagination to run wild, and then followed by concocted beliefs with all kind of conspiracy theories.
The Babel's rebellion of autonomous man-centred religion is present with us today, but, in Christ, God is establishing an everlasting kingdom which will shatter all kingdoms of men. The years after the flood were like a new creation as people multiplied and a new civilization was established. Nimrod is identified as a priest-king by historians, and was an empire-builder who worshiped a fertility goddess based on a deified Eve. Nimrod founded mighty cities, established state-worship and paganism which included human sacrifice, etc. Nimrod was deified as a father of the gods and was given the title of emancipator or deliverer of mankind. Rebelling against the authority of heaven, men worshipped pagan deities. The name Zoroaster means "seed of the woman." This is an allusion to Genesis 3:15 in this ancient religion. Much of pagan mythology traces its historical origin back to Genesis 11, Babel, and Nimrod.
In rebellious pagan religion, man's idea becomes the standard of truth. Man decides to be his own deliverer, deifies himself, and seeks to restore paradise through empire building. Nimrod is not only a founder of empire building and rebellion, but he also founded false worship in a one-world religious culture. This paganism is active in modern culture and is even creeping into the Christian church. Today we see everywhere psychological religion promoting a deified humanity and the belief that there is a spiritual force behind everything.
These ideas are among the dumb idols of Psalm 115:2-8 which conveniently cannot hold men accountable. Paul describes the pagan worship of the creation in Romans 1:22-25. Modern Babel worship is an ideal of peace, unity, and brotherhood which mimics God and where man makes his own route to God, usurping the prerogatives of divinity. Babel worship is manifest in the pluralistic faith of the deified state. Following Nimrod, our society worships man’s autonomy; we project upon "god" our own inner psychology.
Today it is considered a serious offense to challenge another person's inner psychology. As it was at Babel, there is an alliance between mystery pagan religion and the vision of a statist society. Christ alone, the promised Seed of the woman, is the true priest-king, the man of obedience. In Christ as taught in Bible, God is establishing an everlasting kingdom which will shatter all kingdoms of men (Isa. 9:6-7; Isa. 2:2; 1 Tim. 6:15; Dan. 2:44-45; 7:27).

One difference in Biblical law vs. all other legal systems at that time, their law was universal- no allowance for wealth, office or class. It was first to have equal justice under the law. It also required two or more witnesses, also unique. Western Civilization owes them that at least.

I know that the vast majority of muslims (and probably 100% of muslim apologists) will still be in denial, but the importance of this is that nonmuslim people who are susceptible to be deceived by muslim apologists will learn something...

    Some more information for all:
The sons of Korah who wrote Psalm 84
were not allowed into Jerusalem due to their rebellion against Moses :Numbers 16:1-40
When they were finally allowed into Jerusalem they sang this psalm as a psalm of praise

Interesting interpretation, but that is if we assume the Psalm really was written by the son of Korah in the first place

(V6) interesting to note the valley of weeping making a well of tears . This perhaps refers to Bochum, the place of weeping (Judg. 2:1-5). Those who weep and seek God will be refreshed by rain and pools of spiritual water (v6; Isa. 43:2; 44:3;Zech. 10:1).

Very cool interview. For some reason Muslims will praise over and over Islamic scholarship. But then they'll scoff at anyone being a biblical scholar as if it's a fake field of study.
Muslims definitely need to give Biblical scholars more respect. They are our historians for the past prophets.
