In this episode of Skul the Hero Slayer, I'll be using the Warrior skull with a raw damage focused strategy! Warrior is a skull I've had a lot of thoughts about since 1.9 released, and they're sadly mostly negative thoughts. I've wondered since Officer has been fixed, has Warrior lost his niche? Warrior's positive attributes have always been that while he's slow, he makes up for it with big swings and lots of i-frames. However, isn't that kinda what Officer does? He even does it faster than Warrior, but now Officer is all about big swings with lots of i-frames. Something I'm always making known is my criteria for what makes a skull good, and it's two important questions: 1) Does it fill a niche? and 2) Does it fill it well? These days, Warrior lost his niche, but the question remains, even though it's a crowded room, does he at least still stand out? That's the idea for today's run, and the idea I've been trying to get to the bottom of (but dipping cause more interesting stuff shows up lol) for awhile now. The strategy for damage is, well, raw damage%. Courage mixed with lots of sources of damage scaling. So, that's the idea for today! Joined by Hunter, can this concentration duo take back Warrior's spot in the meta, or has the torch been passed on?

Imo one of the best ways to play warrior is duel, make him hit for even bigger numbers since he's not built for crit items and item damage items, so i guess is the best for him having massive amps
Yeah, I think part of why this run turned out the way it did is because of the item quality, but I'm genuinely starting to see Warrior's flaws more and more.

I mean, if it feels like warrior is falling behind in strength... the lack of more than 1 dark ability all the way through to stage 4 will deffinitely do that 🙃
When the Warrior adventurer uses his shield on himself or allies, always hit them in the back. Yes, it's annoying that the shield does that visual glitch, but you should think of it as it makes them invincible to the front.
Don't pay attention to the shield, pay attention to where the adventurer itself is facing

Nah warrior is always trash. I had the best items on him, pretty consistently getting big amps from the hot and it was just average. These were the items: Treasure 4 invulnerability, pot of greed, ring, maxed metal box, olive tree cudgel, hope slasher, hand of glory(maxed) gold whip and the paulsrons. Crazy damage percent and nothing. I had genie as a back up and he did a decent amount more damage, but I didn’t use him because I wanted a warrior run
