In this Skul the Hero Slayer video, I'll be using Water Skull with a Fairytale focused build! Water Skull is absolutely a fan favorite across the Skul fandom, and I personally like him a lot as well! He's uniquely powerful in the strategies he can employ, and that's thanks to his "water waves" mechanics. As Water attacks, he builds up a meter that when full summons water waves that deal damage and bounce around rooms as they crash into walls. This works especially well in boss arenas, since most of them are rectangles with nowhere for the boss to escape to, which allows you to absolutely shred them. His usual bread and butter is Crit Items, and we'll have a little crit item action on this run as well with an Invisible Knife, but this run MAINLY centers around Fairytale! Fairytale is a strategy centered around items with the Fairytale inscription, which almost exclusively is attached to Fairy items. When these items are picked up, a Fairy begins follow you and attacking enemies on your behalf. This is a build I tend to avoid, but if the opportunity presents itself then I'd be a fool not to take the build path. So, that's today's run, Water Skull with a Fairytale focused strategy! Joined by Archlich, can these fairies show the end game gauntlet who's boss?

You should've turned those clips into shorts also yeah those frame drops were insane there was almost a consistent 30 second delay
Had a water skull run today where all the best physical gear dropped. Hope slasher. Olive tree. I even got bow girls legendary drop. And a few other great pieces, couldn’t find a good physical skull to pivot so I just rage quit😂
If you'd have picked up Crown of Thorns and/or Gunpowder Sword, Water Skull shreds with those items with his waves. Hopefully you didn't pass them up cause you didn't realize how takeable they were!
What would you think about reworking the Fairy Tale spirits so that instead of automatically attacking, they wait and only trigger when you use a skill? Could give the archetype some more controlled output overall.

Is there something about your mod setup that’s causing you to low roll your doors? I have been keeping track on my runs and haven’t low rolled a single time in about a month. Granted that’s only probably 20 runs. Switch version.
