- In this Salem travel vlog, we start our day off at the airport and fly in to Boston. We rent a car, and drive over to Salem, Massachusetts. We experience a lot of what Salem has to offer in the month of October, during the Fall. We also visited a few of the "Hocus Pocus" locations. We ended our night with a Salem Ghost tour, which was very entertaining & spooky at the same time. I hope you enjoy Day one of our Salem in October Travel Vlog.

I love that they built a beautiful memorial to the victims of the “witch trials”. I have not been to Salem in years, but plan to go next summer when I am in Boston.

Wow, what a great first day! Of course, when you get free treats at your hotel, you automatically know it's gonna be a great day! lol I've never been to Salem before but from what I've seen so far, I am totally intrigued!!

Francesco, Thanks for the great video tour, I have not been there in a long time (before Hocus Pocus) and they have added a lot to see, I just remember the Fall feeling I wanted and got from visiting Salem. Bewitched filmed 2 episodes there ( I think ), which was unusual for sit-coms to go on location then, not like today when every show has to visit Disney World!
Salem definitely gave us the Fall feeling! It was a great time. I miss it already!

Great tour. I'm guessing this footage was a weekday. It gets pretty wild on the weekends leading up to Halloween (and especially on Halloween itself).

OMG you stayed in my hometown. Salem is great especially at Halloween. Did you ever meet or see Laurie Cabot the official with of Salem. Usually during the Halloween season you see her and entourage walking over to the Salem Commons. She use to hold rituals to celebrate the holidays Thanks god the sights I haven’t been home in o eat 20 years
I didn't get to meet her this time, but I did hear about her! Hopefully I'll meet her next year :)

We were there Wednesday & Thursday this week. We stopped by on Saturday and it was very crowded!
Back in those times if you admitted or denied being a witch your land and belongings were taken and devided between the state and accuser. Guiles Corey that was pressed didn’t admit or deny so he could pass on his house etc to his family. Salem is awesome and there’s so much more you probably didn’t hit. It took me 2 Trips to get most of it. There’s even a castle in glouster 20 min drive from Salem. There’s a lot to do by the warf too. Looks like yo all had a good time. If you go again you gotta check out more

Alisons House (The Ropes Mansion) that I show in the video, is actually a museum. People do, however, live in Max Dennisons house, which you will see on the next vlog :)
