When I use a comp book I just washi 2 pages together along the side. By doing that you’ve created a sleeve that you can put a piece of heavy paper in, so if you use a marker it won’t go through to the other page.

I love them too, but it's mainly because that's when our kids were teens and I was climbing the business ladder in my jobs. I wore all those blazers and dresses with the huge shoulders, yes, yes, I did! I sewed most of my clothes back then and had all the fashion patterns you can think of. What a decade!😃❤

I love those half comp books. No luck finding them here so I took my big utility knife to a standard size comp book. 🤷♀️ What a great page! Loving the big washi...I have one and it is one of my favs. And you have now triggered a music fest in my craft room this afternoon on my record player - 80s forever (still have my old records). 🎶🎵🎶
That's what I did too at first, but then I saw them at Wal-mart and was so excited! Saves my hand the pain of cutting them lol! Office Supply stores will also cut them for you. I wish I still had my records! 80's forever!

I have them for Crosstitch and I never use them. Can you suggest some scissors and what size do you usually use I’m looking at the ones you have on the video that’s really all the help I need, lol as far as supplies go😮

Nicole; I was talking on the microphone so my message came out weird 😮 I tried using different scissors I had bought off Amazon ( small ones for CrossStitch) they were dull, Then I use my big fat scissors that I had in my junk drawer but I couldn’t get around little areas. This is probably really strange? Yes this is the new year please? As I was trying to say I have a few multiple books, Glue, Glue Sticks and I went to the library last week and got loads of magazines and fun books to cut up… I am an avid reader so it did hurt to cut up those books that were children books and a couple off-the-wall books with really cool pictures but I had a time with that😢Thank you so much for the video and my brand new Hobby🎉
I hope you got tested. I too have fibromyalgia and just tested positive for COVD. I had no sore throat, no fever and no cough. All so had was a runny nose, a headache and my fibro seemed worse. If you have any doubt go get tested.
I really enjoyed today's page!! I need some help. I'm just starting to really put together my craft room and have been getting some pretty cool things! And have done a lot of cut outs! Where do you get those what look like wallets but I have those Pockets that have zip line on them? Also how do you determine where you put what cut out? What's the biggest cut out you would use or even out? ( I just got 10 Life magazines from the 50's!! So cool). Also do you use ribbons and Lace? I really like the things that you do!

I'm sure someone has suggested this, but for what ever reason my phone won't let me see the actual comments. Just that there is comments... The waterfall vday book. Just run a very small line of glue along the top, under that too sheet. Then make a nice neat crease. Both sides can be done. So they match. Make it a bigger section glued and decorate it. It's an easy fix for a creative like yourself!! Thanks for sharing PDX neighbor

Gluebooking is so fun and relaxing! It's easy to be intimidated by something new, but once you start gluing, you will have so much fun. You can start by just gluing different scrapbook papers you like. They pages don't always have to be a work of art, it's the process that matters, the relaxation and stress relief you get from it. The more you do it, the more creative you will find yourself getting!
I love this comp book. How did I miss these? Well… I have to go shopping now. ☺️ On the Valentine paper, Michael’s Recollections brand usually has VD paper pads , or those Hot Buy paper pads have VD theme sometimes. I’m excited to see ur VD glue book. ☺️
Terrie if you can't find them at the store you can always have Office Depot cut regular size ones in half for you! It's a really unique and fun size to work in! I went to Michaels a couple days ago, poor timing, they were just putting out all the Valentines stuff so I couldn't get any of the paper as it was still in boxes. I will go back and get some

I have an old sticker Palmas notebook that snaps shit but it’s made out of plastic and cardboard and I would love to get something like what you had? It looked like vinyl or leather and it had six rings I believe and you had at least a couple different ones? With a little clear pockets inside? Eventually yes, I asked the manager at my store if he knew when ours will be going up and he said he didn't know. Which is probably crap, but maybe he just can't tell the customers that info, which I totally understand. So i get it..but I'm buying all I can right now before it does!
I LOVE this question Connie! So when I decided to make this basket (best idea ever), I went around my stash and found papers that were neutral, vintage, etc and then tore those up into large pieces. I went to the thrift store and bought some old books and took pages out of there to rip up for my basket. Last but not least, I went to the craft store and looked at their scrapbook papers that you just buy in singles. I bought just a few sheets of 12x12 paper that I loved, and tore those up as well. That filled up my basket and you'd be so surprised how far a few pieces of scrapbook paper can go. We don't use much of it when we collage, since we use several different pieces. OH..another good paper source that is inexpensive and is my ALL time favorite kind of paper to use is.....drum roll please...wrapping paper! YES wrapping paper! It's thin, glues down amazing, comes in a huge roll. Look at Dollar Tree! I hope this helps
😂 talk about random chickens…we have wild chickens that hang out at the post office and the trash station. Amazing that They don’t get run over. Oh, and telling Jackson to make good choices is a good thing. It does stick with them, they do make good choices and it becomes a point of pride for you. Good job, Mom.

They are hit and miss, my main dollar tree didn't have them back in stock for the longest time, but they just randomly appeared again recently. You will find them in the craft section in tan "crafters square" packaging.

They are such a fun and unique size to work in! I think I will try to glue in the whole book...I was thinking this morning that I could just glue pretty papers in them and then cut out the pages when I want to use them for ATC's or Collage Cards or something. That wide washi tape is almost big enough to cover one side of the cute little box it came in! Apparently I need to do something differently with my papers and composition book. The last time I did any sticking it made me cranky. ☹️

Hi Karen! I do not, I take a wide variety of supplements and another medication for Fibro. I've been on a 10 year journey of trying different supplements, different diets, creams, etc...I know nothing will cure it, but I do want to be able to enjoy life so finding things that can help the symptoms is key.
Have you bought any records yet? And did you go into shock? My friends daughter has a player. I went and bought her just 3 albums...at the cost of almost $70!

I love those half comp books. No luck finding them here so I took my big utility knife to a standard size comp book. 🤷♀️ What a great page! Loving the big washi...I have one and it is one of my favs. And you have now triggered a music fest in my craft room this afternoon on my record player - 80s forever (still have my old records). 🎶🎵🎶
That's what I did too at first, but then I saw them at Wal-mart and was so excited! Saves my hand the pain of cutting them lol! Office Supply stores will also cut them for you. I wish I still had my records! 80's forever!

The half size comp notebook is so cute! I love the page. I'm a little older so my 'jam' is 60's-70's. And isn't that a mom's purpose in life, to embarrass your kids? Also grand and great grand kids!!! The fun just goes on and on down the family tree! lol🌳❤

Hi Nicole, love your channel, I’ve been cutting things out of everything I can I will start my glue book today. I’ve tried different scissors and some of mine her daughter but yet they’re brand new. I have them for Crosstitch and I never use them. Can you suggest some scissors and what size do you usually use I’m looking at the ones you have on the video that’s really all the help I need, lol as far as supplies go😮

Nicole; I was talking on the microphone so my message came out weird 😮 I tried using different scissors I had bought off Amazon ( small ones for CrossStitch) they were dull, Then I use my big fat scissors that I had in my junk drawer but I couldn’t get around little areas. This is probably really strange? Yes this is the new year please? As I was trying to say I have a few multiple books, Glue, Glue Sticks and I went to the library last week and got loads of magazines and fun books to cut up… I am an avid reader so it did hurt to cut up those books that were children books and a couple off-the-wall books with really cool pictures but I had a time with that😢Thank you so much for the video and my brand new Hobby🎉
I hope you got tested. I too have fibromyalgia and just tested positive for COVD. I had no sore throat, no fever and no cough. All so had was a runny nose, a headache and my fibro seemed worse. If you have any doubt go get tested.

I really enjoyed today's page!! I need some help. I'm just starting to really put together my craft room and have been getting some pretty cool things! And have done a lot of cut outs! Where do you get those what look like wallets but I have those Pockets that have zip line on them? Also how do you determine where you put what cut out? What's the biggest cut out you would use or even out? ( I just got 10 Life magazines from the 50's!! So cool). Also do you use ribbons and Lace? I really like the things that you do!

I'm sure someone has suggested this, but for what ever reason my phone won't let me see the actual comments. Just that there is comments... The waterfall vday book. Just run a very small line of glue along the top, under that too sheet. Then make a nice neat crease. Both sides can be done. So they match. Make it a bigger section glued and decorate it. It's an easy fix for a creative like yourself!! Thanks for sharing PDX neighbor

Gluebooking is so fun and relaxing! It's easy to be intimidated by something new, but once you start gluing, you will have so much fun. You can start by just gluing different scrapbook papers you like. They pages don't always have to be a work of art, it's the process that matters, the relaxation and stress relief you get from it. The more you do it, the more creative you will find yourself getting!

Terrie if you can't find them at the store you can always have Office Depot cut regular size ones in half for you! It's a really unique and fun size to work in! I went to Michaels a couple days ago, poor timing, they were just putting out all the Valentines stuff so I couldn't get any of the paper as it was still in boxes. I will go back and get some

Hey this is my first time seeing any of your videos! That extrawide washie tape is really cool! Wondering if you would do a video and show how you are storing all of your various materials? I have an old sticker Palmas notebook that snaps shit but it’s made out of plastic and cardboard and I would love to get something like what you had? It looked like vinyl or leather and it had six rings I believe and you had at least a couple different ones? With a little clear pockets inside? It would be great to see how some of you guys organize yourselves maybe you could do a video all about that one day? Anyway I truly enjoyed your video! Eventually yes, I asked the manager at my store if he knew when ours will be going up and he said he didn't know. Which is probably crap, but maybe he just can't tell the customers that info, which I totally understand. So i get it..but I'm buying all I can right now before it does!

I LOVE this question Connie! So when I decided to make this basket (best idea ever), I went around my stash and found papers that were neutral, vintage, etc and then tore those up into large pieces. I went to the thrift store and bought some old books and took pages out of there to rip up for my basket. Last but not least, I went to the craft store and looked at their scrapbook papers that you just buy in singles. I bought just a few sheets of 12x12 paper that I loved, and tore those up as well. That filled up my basket and you'd be so surprised how far a few pieces of scrapbook paper can go. We don't use much of it when we collage, since we use several different pieces. OH..another good paper source that is inexpensive and is my ALL time favorite kind of paper to use is.....drum roll please...wrapping paper! YES wrapping paper! It's thin, glues down amazing, comes in a huge roll. Look at Dollar Tree! I hope this helps
😂 talk about random chickens…we have wild chickens that hang out at the post office and the trash station. Amazing that They don’t get run over. Oh, and telling Jackson to make good choices is a good thing. It does stick with them, they do make good choices and it becomes a point of pride for you. Good job, Mom.

They are hit and miss, my main dollar tree didn't have them back in stock for the longest time, but they just randomly appeared again recently. You will find them in the craft section in tan "crafters square" packaging.

They are such a fun and unique size to work in! I think I will try to glue in the whole book...I was thinking this morning that I could just glue pretty papers in them and then cut out the pages when I want to use them for ATC's or Collage Cards or something. That wide washi tape is almost big enough to cover one side of the cute little box it came in! Apparently I need to do something differently with my papers and composition book. The last time I did any sticking it made me cranky. ☹️

Hi Karen! I do not, I take a wide variety of supplements and another medication for Fibro. I've been on a 10 year journey of trying different supplements, different diets, creams, etc...I know nothing will cure it, but I do want to be able to enjoy life so finding things that can help the symptoms is key.
