As an Indian and a web-dev, I can confirm its mostly true for our college professors but as for the Indian RUclips tutorials, they actually teach good stuff and explain things in a more simpler way.

I had a problem with Strawberry Perl once and it led me to a similar video. The guy was coughing constantly, to the point where the top comment said "I disabled my adblocker and watched an ad so you can get paid and go to a doctor for your cough"

Ironically, showing where things could go wrong in a tutorial is very much a good thing. Helps save a lot of time answering common questions, too.
