With GPUs still being relatively expensive, and CPUs being so cheap, how much can one expect to pay for a decent budget CPU? Well, it's not as much as you probably think!
Building a Budget PC can be tough. Not only are GPUs and CPUs so incredibly expensive, but they can be hard to find on a budget... But, there are tips and tricks to finding you your dream Budget GPU, and pairing it with a CPU that will give you the performance you want!

i have a i5 12400f since last year i paired the cpu with a rtx 3060 non ti and 32gb 3600mhz ram and the performence of this system is pretty nice iam more than satisfied but i would love to overclock the cpu a little bit like my i3 8350k but there are only some mainboards were you can overclock a 12th gen non k cpu
just got hold of a 11400f good chip its around the same performance as a 8700k..when running at 4.3ghz
not sure between the 5600x and 12400f. same price same mobo price? can you suggest me the best?

Limited support for the future, it will soon be a dead end chip but still very useful emulation just not for the upcoming modern games due to its limitations

The new ryzen 5500 performs exactly the same and is alot cheaper......
what about the ryzen 5 3500x is it still good? (i dont know cause discord takes up 15% of my cpu)
It's definitely still functional! I personally don't have much experience with Zen 2 chips, but from friends who have it, they play games competitively on it!

The Ryzen 5 5600 would be the best go to option if you've already got an AM4 motherboard!

They are and always have been, especially when you go back a generation to 12th gen and before, they are all sub $150.
