Tower troops were a terrible idea to begin with as you need to go into a game anticipating any tower troops you may face. What the cannoneer fails to do, the duchess excels at and vice versa .
I finally learned how to optimize my deck and no matter what tower troop it is I usually come out on top. Cannoned is the easiest, then the duchess, lastly the princess tower. The princess has the best defense against my deck
That just means we need to start making more adaptable decks.
@@stormfang9208 at first I didn’t know how to counter the duchess but all you gotta do is make them think you’re pushing one side then really push on the other side. You basically just have to have a small tank waste the duchess ammo and you’ll get a ton of damage from the troop behind it while they commit to your false push they don’t have enough to defend your real push effectively

Dagger dutchess just makes everything until 2x elixir meaningless unless someone overcommits, which ends in either player losing a tower. Theres no in between.
Pretty much. You simply cant build a push big enough or apply enough pressure because it just regens the daggers way too fast
Lol that's because you copy paste decks from internet and nothing else. My deck worked against princess tower and works against daggers as well. If you can't discharge is and push that's a clear skill issue.

@@Mattferreri_ There is a difference between facing decks like hog cycle which are not even good in the meta and easy to defend compared to broken decks like gob giant evo recruits few seasons ago, giant graveyard and beatdown currently.

You clearly sound like a mid ladder player. Come up to 1800+ ultimate champion and half of the players use giant graveyard. And now there are even more toxic giant pump beatdown decks. Miner control metas are way better, at least noobs cannot use miner control.

For me, a good nerf for the evo bomber would be making that each bomb hit, deals less damage. Ex: First hit deals the normal damage, the second hit deals 3/4, and the third bomb deals 1/2.
Same for the second and third zap from the evo zap.

In a bad way. If it's not bad it's underwhelming. For example, dagger duchess is bad and underwhelming. Canonneer isnt bad but it's underwhelming. And evolutions are just terrible unless maybe every card is evolved and everyone has them but most people wont have enough evos
it's absolutely miserable as a f2p. i can't spend months maxxing a good deck if it becomes utter garbage the next month
The game is in its worst state of all time and it gets worse with every update. Players who don't spend money are literally left out of every meta and will lose matches back to back.

I don't know if anyone sees this, but win rates for cards are absolutely fucked up right now.
evo recruits: 30%
hog rider: 29%
magic archer: 27%
musketeer: 35%
EQ: 38%
suprisingly, pheonix has the highest win rate despite cr toning it down with the multiple nerfs it got over the last year
Win rates makes no sense. Even if a card is extremely broken and overused it will only have like 55% win rate because if one player wins the other has to lose. Some cards are trash like 3 musketeers but can have higher win rate because only very good players can use it.
@@Rikka_V1Here is how it works, if a card has below 45% win rate, the decks it’s used in may not be too great. It’s not good to judge the best cards in the game by win rates but the ones that have around 10% or lower can tell if the card is successful for people who use it

Honestly I like that it manages to nerf cycle decks without directly nerfing the cards in the deck. I do think it needs a nerf but I like the idea
BRO I PLAYED FOR AN HOUR STRAIGHT IN AROUND 7K AND 75% OF THE GAMES I PLAY AGAINST PEKKA
Imo, the dutchess is mostlt fine as is. Evo bomber in the other hand needs a seperate tower dmg stat like the miner. 2 cost, 1 cycle, does as much dmg as it does, hits tower from the bridge and can hit it twice in one shot.
Honestly 5+ elixir only should be one cycle, only real exception can be ice spirit since it is ass, anything below 5 shouls be 2 or more, and im very sure the "cycle" part was something about spending elixir for dark elixir, so makes sense if the cheaper and steonger evos take more cycles since they are "more expensice"
Duchess needs either a damage or reload nerf imo, especially considering its health pool.

Most likely they just lower here DPS by 5% and a HP reduction to be equal to the princess but still, good to have something that actually deals with cheap spam cycle decks than another cheap spam cycle deck or a hybrid cheap spam cycle deck

@@CarbonFang25 exactly, and even it is fixed locations, that's why poison does quite well against them as they can't place them in the same spot 100th time, like there's no skill in there and everything is basically a layout, same as buildings, you only place them on the same 2 tiles, well, expect spawners And mortar and Xbox, and somehow it makes beat down decks take a lot of skill to play, basically beat down decks are close to RTS.. basically make a strong push and use spells to make it possible

I’ve been playing 2.6 since 2017 and none of my other cards are very high level but I lose to dagger duchess like 80% of the time
I personally have no problem with it, though maybe its because I use splashyard

POV: you go and check usage rates for them and realize evolution bomber has a 2% usage rate and evolution zap has a 1% usage rate

Go to royal ip put in ladder and put in usage rates 2% and 1%

@@tylerdockstader3858 NP. That is usage on ladder. Most people use usage rates from Grand Challenges because they aren't as affected by mid ladder. If we used ladder rates, witch and wizard wouldn't be considered bad.

Kinda funny how there’s almost zero scenarios in which the princess is as good or better than the dagger duchess (I have lvl 10 dd and lvl 11 princess and even I feel that the dd is like an objective upgrade)

HOTAKE: supercell should add more common or rare cards. We have too many champions, and they are boring. I want something good but simple. Here's some proposition:
Giant with shield (not the royale recruits shield). Something like health, but it will take less damage. Lets call it a "humeshield". Its your based HP. After you take down shield (lets say 70% of your health), you will lose hp way faster. We can also add cards that will break this shield faster. It can fix the meta (that rn is broken because of evolutions). Or we can nerf miners health and buff meganight

(I’m a lvl 14 at 7K so I ain’t great reference but) I play a modified log bait, I run evo knight, gob barrel, fireball, barb barrel, gobs, witch, LP, princess and for tower I obvi run duchess. I works pretty well against all the tower troops and maybe it’s just because I am playing lower trophies, but it’s been working since duchess came out.

Why does everyone hate hog decks so much? They’re so fun to play against. unlike beatdown where you just wait for them to make a massive unavoidable push. Bring back cycle decks please they are so much more fun to play with and against.
This is the worst update of all time. The dagger duchess just made every strategy that isn’t Beatdown useless. I play Clash Royale because of the detailed mechanics and special interactions. That doesn’t work, if the tower cancels out 3/4 of all cards.
It can easily be overwhelmed by draining the daggers with a tank. Even 2 elixer ice golem drains it.
Every month they will come out with overpowered evos or something you can buy to keep winning. It has became a 100% pay 2 win game. Supercell is doing this with all there games it seems, and just destroying there games 😂.
I actually really love cannoneer. playing and versing.... I absolutely despise dd and it makes only the annoying no skill beat down night witch spam decks viable. Honestly speaking of night witch I feel like she's a very unhealthy card and would love to see a rework instead of a flat nerf /buff
Tower troops sounds fun on paper but they decided to make the main troop absolute, a terrible cannon idiot, and some stupid girl with knifes that destroyed the meta! If your going to do this atleast give EVERY player DD because it’s so hard to do the season events when everyone has DD and I only have Princess tower
Yea I play miner mortar poison and dagger dutches has basically made the miner useless in my deck, which was my primary win condition beforehand. Now I can’t even punish my opponent when they make negative elixer trades.
Is my deck skill? I am in jungle arena btw. My deck is guards, skeleton army,witch,dark pince, mini peka, baby dragon bats and fireball.
I LOVE the fact I can finally counter Hog Rider decks. They're so annoying and have never fallen out of viability since release. Hopefully the dagger duchess only gets a small nerf, or no nerf at all
It's tragic that the only reason pump can work is because lil prince is too op and everyone is using poison. Eq is just dogwater because cheap win cons die to dagger duchess and the tanky ones die to lil prince. Spending 10 elixir for a single hit isn't even worth it.
I have been playing the game for 1 month. I so wanted to reach arena 11 to get this dagger-girl and was afraid that since arena 11 my tactic would be significantly changed but nope. This dagger-girl have a huge drawback -- when she left her daggers she is too bad against everything and cannot protect the tower at all. Therefore, I use the princess again because she is the most balanced against both, crowd and tanks.
The reason giant pump is so good is BECAUSE dagger duchess does bad against it. Nerfing duchess would make that worse lmao
I’m an xBow player and loving it. Dutchess makes defence so much easier and I Don’t even have to get across the river. Plus lots of beat down decks means good rocket value.

Its health is gonna be in-between executioner and vallyrie every 4 hits it will smash down and knockback in area damage around the radius of a fire spirit if the card is left for 6 tiles it will dash and have 20% damage resistance and once it hits it will slow all cards in its radius its gonna be double the range of fire spirit radius elixir cost is gonna be 5
Nah, evo knight or monk are definitely very pro cycle cards. And monk costs the same to be obliterated by full mag Dutch, or shoot back anything else
The people playing the game are who eventually will lead to destroy it, because how NPCs they are, not thinking of how to use the 110 cards in a clover way that suits them but rather using other one that is made by unknown person, and that will Kill the game because how repetitive it is
In area 14 the most anoying card for me is xbow, beacause of dager duches is killing the troops that try to destroy the xbow and i lose half of my towers hp also both tower troops exept princess can counter wall bracker(main card that i use)

I think it might be good. The game has been unbalanced in favor of cycle decks since evolutions came out, so it might be good to have a balancing force that brick walls them and makes beatdown viable again.
Add one to three ravagers with different and have one-time rewards if you are killed by them, or some form of achievement of getting killed by a particular ravager
