Adorable little things they are!!! My 2 oldest cats are turning 13 tomorrow. Liam and Loralie are their names.
Congrats and happy birthday to them! We get cats and kittens dropped off on our farm all the time. I wish people would just do the right thing and get their pets spayed/neutered. But I will never turn down a hungry/thirsty lost animal. You never know that might be the only meal or drink they get that day.

@lookingback6314 When we got Liam and Loralie, their previous owner left them in a box at my dad’s work place and never returned, we never found out who it was or why they left them there. Dad soon brought them home and we’ve had them ever since. I was 8 when they arrived, and were just little babies in 2011. I’ve had those 2 cats for basically half my life and have been the best emotional support.
Aww man I’m so happy to hear that your family saved them. They truly are the best friends you can have. It sounds like it was meant to be that you were there for them and they are there for you too.
There is a difference between people who just “own” a pet cat vs somebody who lives with them and communicates daily with them. I can tell you this they are not what most people think they are. They are amazing creatures, highly intelligent. I can get a cats attention and get it to come to me just from eye contact and a certain look from rooms away. They are always listening and alert, even if they don’t act like it sometimes. 🤣
