People only associate her with the dolls because she didn’t let them each carve out their own fanbase so when the dolls split no one cared about their individual careers

Defeats the purpose of a live performance. Live performances are usually a remixed version of what we hear on the radio. I totally dig it. Melody definitely adds dynamic to the group. Nicole's voice is sweet, but Melody's voice is powerful and I really think that just them two and occasionally the red head make up the group. The other 2 are irrelevant.
Nicole and melody are like raven and Adrienne in cheetah girls. One lays the foundation and the other adds the texture and flavor with the riffs and runs.
Funny enough Melody was my favorite just because she was kinda clumsy dancing and I related to that, but Nicole was the most consistent and that’s why she was lead. They could’ve helped Melody develop her talent more so she could use it to improve the group’s performances in a blended way. Hearing her singing makes me realize her singing was not matching with the group’s performances and style at the time.
I just don't get why they would never let this girl sing. She clearly is amazing at it. And she can sing just a well live which is something that Nicole cannot do.
