Absolutely brilliant performance by the Seekers!!! These four Australian folkies may have been "adopted" by the British, were popular in the UK, but received sporadic airplay here in the States, and were almost ignored. Correct me if I'm wrong.
Judy Durham, you nailed the performance with class! 😄 I'm half Aussie on my father's side, and can relate to classic folk music.
For 1966, this is so much better than the dross we have today. A cousin living in England, ex--RAF, a retired computer teacher, has several of their records at his home.
Hope the fans, old and young, both in Australia and the UK appreciate my praise for this legendary quartet! 🇬🇧🐨🐨🇬🇧🎸🎸👸😽❤❤💗💗💛💙💛💙

Shame about the audience lack of appreciation.
He was superb,.... even when the bird tray fell to the fall he got on with it like the true pro he is.

We saw this last Sunday on the series Sunday Night at the London Palladium on Talking Pictures Sky channel 328. We enjoyed this episode so very much. I love to watch his stance with one hand in his waistcoat pocket and his lovely mop of thick, black hair and his cheeky smile with his eyes always glancing upwards at the audience in the balcony. He's sooo very CUTE🐰

How did Turbuck ever get into entertainment as a comedian? I shall never know!

I saw this last night on Talking Pictures. It confused me. I thought it was 1966 but we didn't have colour TV back then.

      True and true.
But we had simpler tastes in comedy then.

Only the simple would find Turbuck entertaining, even back then. Turbuck is just as excruciating to watch as Jimmy Savile.

@@redblade8160 tell the truth, I never saw Tarbuck much back or later, and don't really remember. Whereas Pete and Dud, Roy Hudd, and others, I do.
