I spent 2 hrs searching the entire border didn't find a single mantis. Got an update and try another 2 hr run. I found 8 in total. Apparently the update was to put them on the map as they 'forgot' to put them. The oasissaur was there and I don't even have the pass. Damn thing is so big almost crashes my game when rendering. What a joke! Had Wurms before the update now their gone.

Don’t know if you’ve figured it out yet but on cacti hitting them with hatchets is better than with a pickax

The bones only give Keratin on Aberration in the caves leading to the surface. Every other map its salt and stone.

u should swap all the tools the mantis has with the ones u put in the grinder so the mantis has max durability on the tools
Mantis will be using upgraded weapons not the primitive ones in the grinder

Not a dumb question at all..... they eat spoiled meat which you can get a ton of from the Vultures
