Imperfections are perfect in the artistic world. This is perfect just the way it is. I too sometimes take out part of my work and change it, so what every makes you happy with your work is what matters in the end. It is so lovely. the balance is perfect.

Beautiful work. Sorry to hear about the health issues, drink plenty of water, follow DR guidelines, slow stretches work for me, on my hands and knees on the bed, and rotating my hips slowly in circular motion bent down on my hands and knees, to slowly and gently stretch my lower back, just hang in there. It will slowly get better. Stay positive and determined. You are a wonderful artist with sewing project.

Thank you kindly once again 😊 At this stage I'm not able to get on my knees but I'll add that to my list of what I'd like to achieve. I'm beginning to notice I'm getting stronger and a lot more flexible so that's a bonus! I hope you have more good days than challenging ones 😊

Oh Hun I am so sorry to hear you are in pain. I too suffer from Fibromyalgia, arthritis, Stenosis in my spine, and multiple autoimmune conditions. I have gotten very debilitated and am only 57. Depression can make it all so much worse. Your hand work is beautiful! 💕 I really love it. Always looking to make beautiful projects that won't put me out of commission. I'm going to watch your other videos and get some ideas. Please keep making videos if you feel up to it. I'd love to see more of your art. ☺️💜

Oh Debbie, I'm so sorry. I don't have stenosis but it must be horrible. It's tough enough trying to navigate fibromyalgia and arthritis and old injuries and...... I guess you may feel a bit like me in the sense that I get so frustrated that my body doesn't do what my brain wants it to do.
Thank you so much for watching my videos. It's so great to know that I'm not talking to myself. I hope you may find some inspiration. I find stitching so calming and relaxing - when my hands want to work 🤦🏻‍♀️
      Thank you again.
I hope you have more better days than challenging ones 😊

God bless you both. I have rheumatoid arthritis and was in a car wreck last Thursday.
      Let us support one another.
Have they tested for Celiac disease? A young woman that was ill way back into childhood. Turned out to be Celiac disease.
      Take care everyone! 😊🎉❤

Oh goodness @drivinfool9902 I hope you're OK after your car wreck.
They're truly horrible things to experience. I still have CPTSD after the last one I was in.
I have been tested for celiac, yes. I do not have Celiac but I do have a gluten intolerance.
My Vit D is very low though I discovered today, along with a few other things.

We are all humans, imperfections are worthy as we are all imperfect . You have been traumatized by the past critics, freedom and primitive and rustic is a delight. Read the tiny books in the children's section at the library, Whimsical is magical. Folk are is magical. you need to be more forgiving of the learning process, as your hidden artist is trying to come out. This will help you get back in touch with the little girl in your spirit. It is wanting to be expressive, let it out of the box!!! Be brave, look at how Rachel from RoxyCreations is always talking bout not being or expecting perfection yet all of her work always is a process of exploration and in the end the balance is so unique and lovely!!! You have the same gifts hidden within you. It is hard to think and break out of the box, but you can do it. Spread your creative wings and fly!!! USA, Idaho is where I am from.

That's lovely, thank you. I have a friend who sometimes suggests that I speak to the small human within me. Let that dear little human out and be gentle with her but it's easy to forget when you're not used to doing that. 😊

Why not try and do stem stitching on top of the tacking, so its more hidden and blends into the background. Be more forgiving of your work, its beautiful just at it is, and additional work on it will only enrich it and be just as interesting as you hope it will be. Anyone would be proud to receive this piece as a gift!!! You are right to have selected the purple flower, it creates visual balance with the browns. trust your inner intuition, your inner spirit. Its working for you. Give yourself more credit, we all love this!!!

Thank you kindly 😊 I think a lot of my indecision is due to almost 35 years of studying fine embroidery and then teaching but one of my tutors would insist on textbook perfection. If it wasn't perfect, if the back wasn't as neat as the front if I had travelled in the back with my thread, she would make me unpick the entire work and do it again. All those years of that being drummed into me often gets difficult to let go of. I tend to automatically revert back to those habits, no matter how much I try to free up my style. I have been watching a lot of Kate In The Nest. She's so joyful and appears to so easily just harvest and stitch. So incredibly inspiring for me being so rigid and hard on myself 😊
