This never stopped. Even after the '82 war, many British and Argentines who participated on it started visiting and writing to each other, and still do. You do what you think is the best for your country and respect the other side because they are doing the same, but that doesn't stop us from sharing a lot and being friends. The only problem we have is in football. Hah. Aside from that, you're all welcome in Argentina.

@@ErnestChopi you are right, we have a subtle yet strong cultural and historical connection which is unorthodox for countries so far apart. British workers built large tracts of Argentine railways and other infrastructure and Argentina would export huge amounts of goods, like beef, to the UK. It's sad that war has muddied the waters between our two countries and I hope, like you, one day we can find diplomatic resolutions to our differences. I wish you all well over there and I have full confidence in Argentina becoming prosperous and strong again like it has been in history. God bless you 🙏🏼🇦🇷

It's so obvious to me, but we have been trained to want the government to look after us. At this point with an exploding debt, crashing currency, and absolutely no talk from the government of holding spending costs, let alone cutting spending, there is no sign of getting out of this death spiral....and the majority of the people around me are STILL on the Green socialist bandwagon.

The interviewer did a huge disservice to Mr Milei and the audience by inserting a falsehood into her opening question: Labour’s overwhelming majority was not due to a lack of public services investment, perceived or otherwise. Their win was due to a confluence of factors, none of which amounted to a genuine popular shift to Labour. They essentially won by default as a result of the idiosyncrasies of the UK’s voting system.

The situation with Malvinas is simple. The people who lives there can choose whatever they want to be but the territory is 100% argentinian. The argentinian government has every right to keep their soverignty claim. It's has nothing to with the people occupying the island or Great Britain as a nation. It's just a fair cause.

Problem is the Conservatives were split, too keen to take down each other, look at how long Boris or Liz Truss lasted- certainly didnt inspire confidence.

@ Yes for 14 years, but last 4 years how many PMs were there? In current situation, in my own view, which ppl may not agree, I’ll make my choice on the least damaging party, rather than whom I like the most. It’s a very different spirit in USA where majority chose Trump.
