- Is there anything sweeter than rescued kittens learning how to play? At 4 weeks of age, kittens are becoming more coordinated and independent. Their eyesight is improving, their tails are lengthening, and they're becoming much more curious about engaging with the world around them. In this video, Velouria, Margot, Phillip, Winston, and Barnaby begin expressing their unique personalities through play.

I love that age. You can tell they think they're ferocious, and then they open their mouth and these adorable little squeeks come out.

I love Barnaby's pudgy little kitten belly. They're just the right age to teach them stuff, like 'up' for when we want them on the bed or on a chair, they're at a great age to teach fetch, and other cute little kitty things. So adorable.

Too adorable. I remember a litter of kittens we had as a kid. They were the orange tabbies. 5 or 6 of them and they all had names staring w/the letter “G”. Gordon, Grizzly, Garfield, Gizmo and I can’t remember the other names. I had Gizmo. His tummy was so plump as if he swallowed a golf ball. That would be the Barnaby of this litter. I love kittens for this very same reason. So cute and love watching them play.

My dog and I both enjoyed this video. She LOVES cats and watching your videos is one of her favorite things. I'll ask her if she wants to watch some kittens, she'll come over and sit beside me watching the whole time. Chin on the desk, ears perked to the mews and tail doing little waggles. Shes a 70 lb Akita and her best buddy is my 4 year old rescue cat. She loves to see the rescue kittens we have at my work too, though the kittens usually aren't too sure about her since she is so much bigger than they are.

I have 5 kittens that are just turning 4 weeks old. They are all learning to play just like this! I think this is right at my favorite age? I have, Valentina, Maggie, Gretchen, Hobie,and Spatz. I take in newborn baby kittens and bottle fed them too. This is my 1st bunch of the year. But, it won't be the last.
Thanks for teaching others how to care for these sweet babies too.

Your tips help me alot because there was a storm at my house and theres these cats who come to have food there is four kitten all of the kittens were at the backyard but one of them wasnt there I went to the frontyard and I saw the other kitten soaking wet and he was tumbling alot and he couldnt walk that well I wasnt allowed to take him inside so I took him with the other kittens like you said if you keep the kitten togther they can warm up togther. After an hour later he was able to walk properly again

You make me want to foster babies again! My health right now isn't allowing that. I used to love coming home from a shift and getting on the floor with a bunch of baby kittens climbing all over me. I ended up keeping two from my last litter I fostered. Thanks for taking such good care of those little ones.
